Abstract

The waist-to-hip circumference ratio is an anthropometric method to describe the distribution of fat in the body, especially in the areas of subcutaneous and abdominal fatty tissue. Fat cells located in the abdominal wall has a larger size that is dominated by low-density lipoprotein which is often a major factor in cardiovascular disease. To determine the correlation between waist to hip circumference ratio with low density lipoprotein levels in heart disease patients with heart polyclinic Brigjend H. Hasan Basry Kandangan Hospital. This study was an observational analytic study with the hypotheses associative method using cross sectional design. The number of respondents as many as 78 research samples using accidental sampling technique that met study inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data were analyzed using Spearman's correlation test. The results showed that of 78 respondents there were 14 respondents who have pelvic ideal ratio of waist circumference and 64 who have a waist circumference ratio is not ideal. Of the 78 respondents which had normal levels of low density lipoprotein amounted to 32 respondents, is rather high as 21 respondents, and as of 25 respondents. This research shows there is a significant correlation with the weak force between waist to hip ratio with levels of low density lipoprotein respondents, r = 0,320, p = 0,004. Abstract

Rice is the staple food for the majority of the Indonesian people. Siam unus rice is a local rice in South borneo which has a low glycemic index is 50.1. Food with a low glycemic index, low in carbohydrates and high in fiber can help people with diabetes to control blood glucose levels. The purpose of this study is to analyze different of carbohydrate, crude fiber and the glycemic index in the processed siam unus rice (lemper nasi, arem-arem and pepes nasi) as altternatif snack diabetes mellitus. This research is experimental. Analysis of the carbohydrate content using the gravimetric method, crude fiber using Luft schoorl, while the glycemic index levels made by examining blood glucose levels to 8 healthy respondents. Blood glucose tests performed before feeding trials and for two hours afterward with a span of 30 minutes. The results of this study found no difference in carbohydrate content lemper nasi, arem-arem and pepes nasi (p = 0.040), there are differences in crude fiber lemper nasi, arem-arem and pepes nasi (p = 0.006), and no differences in glycemic index processed siam unus rice (p = 0.958). Glycemic index of lemper nasi and pepes nasi relatively low at 53.40 and 52.87, while arem-arem had moderate glycemic index that is equal to 55.34. Abstract

The state of health is the health situation experienced by a person and the disease is a factor that is associated with the state of health of a person. The health of a person is said to be good if in a person's body is good nutrition and a maximum satisfied. Meanwhile, nutritional status is a state of the body because of food consumption and utilization of nutrients; health status is affected by the balance between intake and expenditure of nutrients for its use by the body. Nutritional needs that have a role in child development largely covers energy, carbohydrates and proteins, vitamins and minerals are known as elements of nutrition that influence growth and development of children. The nutritional needs of children can be met from the intake of food or beverages consumed at home and consumed outside the home, or often referred to as a street food. In addition to the consumption of food as a major factor affecting the health and nutritional status of a person, there are also other factors that can affect the health of children, behavior of living healthy and clean. Clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors, in essence, is the prevention of human behavior of various diseases. This study aims to determine the relationship of clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors to the health and nutritional status of children SDN Angsau 2 Pelaihari. This research used analytic investigation with the design of the cross section. The study population for all students SDN Angsau 2 samples Pelaihari. total sample of 60 respondents with two criteria for inclusion and exclusion. Based on the results of the statistical tests of Spearman correlation showed there was have association between clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors (p = 0.000) with children’s health status and nutritional status of children SDN Angsau 2 Pelaihari. Abstract

The implementation of labor care that is not comprehensive causing many problems either labor services of midwife or traditional midwife. The objective of the research was to find out the description of labor services of midwife and traditional midwife at Kuraa village in Siontapina sub-district, Buton regency. Study design was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Total sample was 20 respondents who consist of 10 women, 7 birth mothers, 2 traditional midwife, and 1 a midwife. Technique of taking sample was purposively. The result showed that the labor care from a midwife who started from stage I to stage IV has not been fully run in accordance with midwifery care because in laboring process, the traditional midwife who always took precedence. Whereas, in assisting childbirth, traditional midwife has not followed the midwifery care because sometimes they do not involve a midwife. Keywords: labor services, midwife, traditional midwife

Abstract

Public Health Center is unity functional organization that organizes health effort that is comprehensive, integrated, equitable acceptable and affordable by the community with the active participation of communities and use the results of the development of science and appropriate technology, at a cost that can be borne by the government and the wider community in order to achieve optimal health status, without neglecting the quality of services to individuals. Public Health Center should Recording and Reporting System of Integrated Health Centers each month to the Banjar District Health Office. When examined in the feed back SP2TP, it turns out there are incomplete and late reporting Recording and Reporting System of Integrated Health Centers (SP2TP). This study aims to determine Tardiness And Incompleteness Recording System And Unified ReportIng Public Health Center In Banjar District Public Health Center In 2016. This study uses an analytical method Correlation Reseach design. This study was conducted to 23 public health centers in Banjar District Health Office by statistik test. The results on several variables by using the chi-square shows that there’s no correlation of the numbers of workers management administration and infrastructure with tardiness and incompleteness recording system and unified reporting public health center in Banjar District Public Health Center In 2016

Abstract

Indonesian Government Regulation No. 43 of 2004, Article 8 states that governments, communities and families are responsible for the realization of efforts to improve the social welfare of the elderly (Elderly). Data Elderly health care coverage in the City Banjarbaru seen still lower than the target of 70% is only 31.2% elderly who receive health care of elderly in the total Banjarbaru City. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. Population and sample are all officers of nutrition in health centers Banjarbaru City totaling 38 people. Data collection was studies using a structured questionnaire on nutritional health center personnel. Bivariate analysis using Pearson Product Moment and Spearman Rank. The results showed that most respondents educated DIII Nutrition, has a period of work over 12 months, working as a nutritionist and aged between 24 years to 48 years. Respondents stated low motivation, stated the job itself was bad and stated the average of policy and administrative, and stated factors related to the motivation of nutritionist is the work itself and policy and administration. It is recommended for the DKK and Public Health to improve coaching and training through regular briefings, seminars and education, improving cooperation and mobilization and increase the motivation to reward achievement in the delivery of nutrition workers in the health education Posyandu Lansia in Banjarbaru City. Abstract

Dysmenorrhea experienced by woman. The pain felt by every woman is different, it can be mild pain, moderate, or severe that interfere with daily activities and women's health. Turmeric, tamarind is a traditional herb that is believed to be hereditary cope with menstrual pain. This study aims to determine the effect of acid turmeric to the intensity of pain during menstruation in young girls at the senior high school level at Boarding School Darul Hijrah Puteri. This study is a pre-experimental with sampling technique with total sampling are 52 respondents. Measurement of menstrual pain using a pain scale from 0-10 (Comparative Pain Scale) on a checklist. Based on the research before giving turmeric, tamarind majority of respondents experienced mild pain as many as 32 respondents (61.5%), and after giving turmeric acid responde majority do not experience menstrual pain as many as 25 respondents (48.1%). Results Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test, obtain p value= 0.000 < 0.05, so the hypothesis is accepting H1. Which means there are effect giving of turmeric tamarind against the current intensity of menstrual pain in adolescent senior high school level in Boarding School Darul Hijrah Puteri. Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the hemoglobin level in the blood is reduced or lower than normal which is less than 11.0 gr/dl. Cases of iron deficiency anaemia in pregnant women in Barito Kuala District Tabunganen Public Health Center Work Area by 71.2% with the number 2 ranked highest of the 19 health centers located in Barito Kuala. This research aims to study and explain the relationship of education, knowledge and support her husband with the incidence anaemia in pregnant women in Barito Kuala District Tabunganen Public Health Center Work Area. This research is an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The sample of the as many as 81 respondents with the sample collection in purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire, the results of data collection were analyzed using univariate statistics, bivariate with chi square test using a computer program tools. So the results obtained that respondents who suffer from anaemia of 65.4%. Variables significantly associated with the incidence anaemia (p-value < 0.05) is education, knowledge, and support her husband. Suggestion given is increasing knowledge by way of counseling to the pregnant women and the husband on the importance of maintain the health of mothers during pregnancy by means of inspections pregnancy with regular, especially examination of levels of hemoglobin.
