Not all midwives carry out the Initiation of Early Breastfeeding, it is strongly influenced by the knowledge of midwives which is have impact on the behavior of midwives in implementing the IMD. The research objective was to determine the relationship between knowledge of the behavior of private midwifery practices in the implementation of the IMD in mothers birthing in the city of Bogor. This study is an analytical research which had a Crosssectional approach where the independent variable is knowledge of midwives, while the dependent variable is the behavior of midwives in the implementation of the IMD. The questionnaire is the research instruments to measure the knowledge of midwive, and observation sheet is used to measure the behavior. The 96 respondents in this study were midwive private practice are taken proportional random sampling. Analysis method used was chi square. The majority (66.7%) of respondents have good knowledge, 64.6% already have Early Initiation of Breastfeeding and the statistical tests showed there is no relationship between knowledge of the behavior of midwives in the implementation of the IMD program, where the value (p> 0.05). Department of Health and professional organizations need to increase midwives’s knowledge of IMD by conducting refreshertraining through seminars APN updates or IMD. Midwifery education need more emphasis to students on learning materials in the IMD.

Abstract

Wasting and Stunting are the main problem spreaded in towns and villages. To address nutritional issues, it is required two intervention groups which are nutrition-specific interventions and nutrition-sensitive interventions. Nutrition-sensitive interventions are the effort to prevent and reduce directly nutritional problems , particularly in the first 1,000 days of life. Specific nutritional intervention activities are generally carried out by the health sector such as nutritional counseling, growth monitoring, feeding and curing . Meanwhile, nutrition-sensitive interventions are the effort to disrupt and decrease the nutritional problems indirectly in the form of various development activities of not health. The aim of this study is to compare the differences of nutritional status of <59-month children before and after given specific nutritional interventions along with nutritional assistance inBandung Regency of West Java. The research design used the quasy exsperiment with pretest – posttest questionnaire to compare the nutritional status of infants before and after the intervention. The thirty Samples were underweight toddlers (Weight / Height) and wasting risk. and lived in Margaasih research in the District of Bandung regency, West Java province. The study was conducted from March to September 2016. The data was collected the characteristics of subjects, nutritional status (weight/height), the nutritional knowledge of mothers, feeding knowledge, knowledge of the care of sick children and the nutritional hygiene knowledge. the skewness test was used to analyse that the data was normally distributed. Sample characteristics data were presented in the form of a frequency distribution table and analyzed descriptively. Data nutritional status (weight/height), the nutritional knowledge of mothers, knowledge of feeding, knowledge of the care of sick children and knowledge of self hygiene were analyzed using bivariate dependent t-test statistic for comparing the difference before and after an intervention with a confidence level of 95% with ap-value < 0.05. The results of the study showed that there is a significant difference in nutritional status (weight / height) (P = 0.001), nutritional knowledge of mothers (P = 0.001), knowledge of feeding (P = 0.015), and knowledge of personal hygiene (P = 0.000), while knowledge of the care of sick children there is no difference in (P = 0.594). Result of multivariate test indicates the variables of the sick child care knowledge was a confounding factor affectingnutritional status value (weight / height). Nutritional assistance activities should be carried out regularly and sustainablyto initiate efforts for nutritional improvement as the main goal.

Kefir is known can decrease (blood sugar) because of its bioactive content. The aim of this research is knowing predilection level test to ice cream pumpkin kefir. This research is conducted with experimental method. The data analysis includes predilection test, nutrient value analysis, and price analysis. Ice cream pumpkin kefir that is liked most are from texture side, the cheapest price, and also the highest fiber content exists in balance 578 with the ratio of kefir and pumpkin 50%:50%. Ice cream pumpkin kefir that is liked most from colour side exists in balance 236 with the ratio of kefir and pure pumpkin 70%:30%. Abstract

Black Tea (Camellia sinensis L.) is known to have chemicals that are beneficial that are beneficial to health. With the potential of black tea plant as a medicinal plant, it is necessary to do a standardization of the black tea leaves simplicia to determine the quality, safety, and efficacy of simplicia raw materials used in supporting health. This study aims to determine the specific parameters of black tea leaves simplicia. Determination of specific parameters include identification of macroscopic and microscopic powder simplicia, water soluble ash content, ethanol soluble ash content, catechin level in simplicia. Standardization of black tea is based on common standard parameters of medicinal plant extracts. Standardization of simplicia includes organoleptic, soluble compounds in water solvents and ethanol solvents, determination of catechin levels using HPLC. The result of simplicia standardization test shows simplicia has brownish black color, distinctive odor of dried leaves and taste of chelatic taste and slightly bitter, with the water soluble ash content of 22.4935 ± 0.1595%, ethanol soluble ash content of 22.5867 ± 0.1930%, and levels of Catechin 15,6742 ± 1,0513 %. Black tea leaves simplicia (Camellia sinensis L.) meets specific parameters.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Overweight in adolescents can be caused by excessive food or not in accordance with the number of their needs and if it’s left can cause various diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and even coronary heart. Humans tended to like foods that contain fat and sugar. High energy foods such as carbohydrates and fats can increase the prevalence of more nutrients. This study aims to determine the relationship between carbohydrate intake and fat with the incidence of overweight in adolescents in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kartasura Sukoharjo District. This research used crosssectional study design with research subjects of X - XII class students which fulfilled criteria as many as 40 respondents selected using systematic random sampling method. The data of fat and carbohydrate intake was calculated from the average intake with the method of estimation of food record 24 hours for 3 days using Nutrisurvey. Measurement of nutritional status in respondents using IMT/U. The results of this study indicate as many as 40% of respondents have more nutritional status and 30% of respondents have more fat intake. Pearson Product Moment test results showed that carbohydrate intake with overweight occurrence showed p = 0.230 which means no relationship, whereas for fat intake with overweight occurrence showed p value = 0.025 which means there is correlation between fat intake with overweight occurrence, value R = 0.355, RR = 3.37, 95% CI = 1,224 - 9,279 which means respondents with excess fat intake have an overweight risk. This study recommends that students be able to control and reduce the types of foods that are especially high in fat and carbohydrates to minimize the incidence of more nutrients.
