Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Application of Problem Based Learning Learning Model to Learning Motivation and Student Learning Outcomes in Class XI Historical Subjects at Tanjung Raja 3 Public High School". The problem in this thesis is whether there is the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning learning model to learning motivation and student learning outcomes in class XI history subjects at Tanjung Raja 3 Public High School. While the purpose of this study is to improve the learning process in order to increase learning motivation and student learning outcomes. The sample in this study was class XI Natural Sciences namely class XI IPA2 as the experimental class and XI IPA1 as the control class using Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires / questionnaires and tests / questions. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data normality test, data homogeneity test, and two-way ANOVA test with a significant level of F_count> F table with a real level (? = 0.05). Based on the results of data analysis of the three existing problems, the results of F_kol = 2.31> 2.26 (Significant), F_bar = 5.09> 3.89 (Significant), F_int = 3.22> 2.26 (Significant). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model influences learning motivation and student learning outcomes in class XI history subjects at Tanjung Raja 3 Public High School.  Keywords: Problem Based Learning Learning Model, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes, Students, Tanjung Raja 3 Public High School.

Abstract

Education is one of the manifestations of the implementation of the objectives of the Republic of Indonesia contained in the 4th paragraph of the 1945 Constitution which reads "... to educate the life of the nation ...". National Education is regulated in Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System (Wahyudi, 2012: 2), Renewal of education continues to be carried out to produce people who are of high quality, good personality and have extensive knowledge. In education known as learning activities, there are terms of educators (teachers) and students. Educators are people who are responsible for the ongoing process of education, while students are educated people. The use of modules is considered suitable to help teachers play an important role in the learning process. Modules are rated as effective and efficient teaching materials considering the increasing number of things students must learn, while school hours do not increase. Modules are a set of subject matter arranged systematically with easy-to-understand sentences, so that students can learn independently. In addition, the module is also equipped with student worksheets, so students can evaluate their learning outcomes themselves through the modules provided. In connection with the 2013 curriculum provisions which prioritize attitude assessment, the authors would like to develop historical teaching materials in the form of religious value-based modules in Palembang 1 State Islamic Senior High School that relate the verses of the Koran and hadith to the material taught. The development of teaching materials is expected to be able to encourage students to get closer to the Koran, increase their interest in learning, and have a high curiosity about science, and be able to find lessons learned from a historical event. Keyword: Education, Module, Religious Value.

Abstract

The tittle of the research was the role of officer Gyugun in defending the independence of Indonesia in Palembang in the physical revolution (1945-1949) with the arrangment issues : how the role of officer Gyugun in to defending the proclamation in Palembang. As for the purpose of this research was to know how history and role of officer Gyugun military in Palembang. This research had done since September until Desember 2017 in Palembang and around it using a method historically by collection of data from transcript and books or the study literature. The research result showed that when Japan dominated Palembang, from a military organization Gyugun after the end of the occupation of Japan, officer Gyugun took the lead in protecting our country’sovereignty from the allies and the Netherlands in Palembang. The officer Gyugun had a big important role in the history of the established of the army and became a lead of the struggle of the soldiers in the physical revolution in Palembang.Keywords : Japan, Military, Gyugun, Role, Palembang.

Abstract

Abstract: This thesis is entitled the influence of the Problem Solving method on student learning outcomes in historical subjects in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Mendo Barat Bangka. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effect of the Problem Solving method on student learning outcomes in History subjects in SMA 1 Mendo Barat Bangka. This study uses an experimental method that is treatment and without treatment. The population in this study were all class X which amounted to 171 students, while the study sample was taken by Random Sampling technique so that it was obtained as a sample of 74 students namely the experimental class (class X IPA 1) totaling 37 students and the control class (class X IPA 2) amounting to 37 students. Data collection was carried out through the implementation of both pree test and post test which numbered 25 multiple choice questions. The results of this study indicate that, in the experimental class, the average learning outcomes of the final test students were 79.43, while the control class average student learning outcomes obtained in the final test was 68.86. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the t test with a significant level of ? = 0.05 and dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 72 which is 1.66, obtained by the hypothesis test t count of 4.76 because t count> t table (4.76> 1.66) then accept Ha and reject Ho, meaning learning history by applying the Problem Solving method gives an influence on student learning outcomes in class X SMA 1 Mendo Barat Bangka.  Keywords: Problem Solving method and student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study entitled "Economic Development of the Community of Rantau Karya Village in Air Sugihan Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in 2011-2017" with three problem formulations namely: how the development of palm oil and rubber production in Rantau Karya Village in 2011-2017, how the palm distribution process and rubber in Rantau Karya Village in 2011-2017 and How do palm and rubber consumption activities in Rantau Karya Village in 2011-2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the economic development of the people of Rantau Karya Village, Air Sugihan Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, 2011-2017 which focused on Rantau Karya Village in 2011-2017. The methodology used in this study is a historical method with steps: heuristics, criticism of sources, interpretation, historiography and in-depth interviews with community leaders in Rantau Karya Village. While the approach used is an economic, sociological and geographic approach, based on the results of research, it is found that the economic life of the community includes three aspects, namely in the fields of production, distribution and consumption. While the economic development seen is the development of agriculture in the plantation sector, namely oil palm and rubber plantations. Palm and rubber are the main income of the local community, this is in line with the increasing level of welfare of the people of Rantau Karya Village. Abstract

This thesis entitled Development Of Sakukha Culture In Lampung Saibatin Tribe Society (1993-2017): (Material Countribution To Cultural History Courses Historical Education Sriwijaya University). Sakukha is a mask party that is held every five days after Idul Fitri day, alternating from village to village, as an expression of joy after a month full of fasting Ramadan. The problems discussed by the author is how the culture of sakukha. How the development of culture of sakukha in Lampung tribe society saibatin 1993-2017. How are the values in the culture of sakukha. The purpose of this research is to know the culture of sakukha. The development of culture of sakukha in Lampung tribe society saibatin 1993-2017, values in the culture of sakukha. The method of writing used is the historical method, using the steps of Heuristics, Source Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography.Keywords: Culture, Sakukha, Society, Lampung Saibatin Tribe.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Nurul Islamic Boarding School in Seribandung Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir District. The formulation of the problem is (1) how the development of Nurul Islam Islamic boarding schools (2) how the role of Islamic boarding schools in the development of education in Ogan Ilir, (3) how the pattern of education applied by pesantren in the development of education in Ogan Ilir and (4) how the pesantren impacts on development education at Ogan Ilir. This study uses historical methods. The research steps are heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study were the role of the Nurul Islam Seribandung Islamic boarding school in the education sector in Ogan Ilir and South Sumatra districts. This pesantren provides Islamic-based education to children without having to go out of town. The santri are equipped with social sciences such as jannies, lectures, marhaban, which are methods of developing da'wah in the Ogan Ilir community. The Islamic Boarding School Nurul Islam experienced a peak in 1970 to 1980 with a number of 2,678 santri to 1,236 santri. Nurul Islam boarding school has succeeded in completing santri with sufficient religious knowledge. The alumni succeeded in establishing Islamic boarding schools in their area and became great scholars. Changes in people's lives follow the pattern applied by Nurul Islamic boarding schools, ranging from changes in morals, life, and awareness to charity. Abstract

South Sumatra has a unique local wisdom, one of which is the Cultural Guritan the hereditary inherited or preserved by Besemah Tribe. Guritan an ancient literary form of poetry that characterized the old or classic literature that are anonymous ie without the author's name or authors. The contents of this Guritan contains many moral values, advice, custom rules, the voices of conscience and portraits of human nature, heroism, and the rest of the kingdom in the past, which can be learned by humans as the demands of life. One Besemah community effort to preserve this culture which is a way to introduce this culture to the children of both formal and non-formal as heir to the young generation of the nation of Indonesia. The focal point of this paper is tracing the local wisdom of besemah through the culture of guritan Keywords: Local Wisdom Values, Interest Guritan Besemah and culture.
