Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the change in the function of Rentak Kudo Dance from harvest rituals to entertainment in Hamparan Rawang Subdistrict, Sungai Penuh City. The analysis focused on Rentak Kudo dance performances in entertainment events at weddings. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive analytical methods. The object of the research is Rentak Kudo Dance in Hamparan Rawang Subdistrict. The main instrument is the researcher himself who assisted with the tool in collecting data in the field in the form of stationery and photo cameras. Data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are by collecting data, analyzing data, sorting the appropriate data changes in the function of Rentak Kudo Dance and then describing the appropriate issues discussed. The results of the study that Rentak Kudo Dance used to be displayed at the harvest ritual event in Hamparan Rawang Kota Sungai Penuh, with certain requirements both choose dancers 6 women and 6 men, the floor pattern is only a straight line, and the music pegiring Dance Rentak Kudo used only tambourines only. Dancers are also obliged to perform rituals of flowers, oranges and frankincense. The offering is paired with the body of a dancer. As for the change in the function of Rentak Kudo Dance as entertainment at the wedding in the evening, the performance of Rentak Kudo Dance undergoes a change in mass form with the accompaniment of remix/ DJ music with a single organ. This dance has undergone very different changes that are social and entertainment, which are popular among the local community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the existence of Wayang Kulit art in Jorong Suka Bakti, South Solok Regency seen from the function and use of Wayang Kulit art in Javanese society in Jorong Suka Bakti. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. The main instrument in this research is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and camera. Data collection techniques were carried out by literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The steps to analyze the data are collecting data, describing the data, and making conclusions. Puppet art in Jorong Suka Bakti is a traditional Javanese art that developed outside the area of origin of the Javanese people. The results and discussion in this article contain the use of Wayang Kulit art in the Javanese people of Jorong Suka Bakti in; village cleansing rituals; circumcision events; and wedding ceremonies. Wayang Kulit also functions as a vehicle for expression; social entertainment function; the function of the media that reflects the norms and aesthetic values as well as the economic function in supporting the necessities of life.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal and describe the structure of Gerak Silek Gelombang Sanggar Tunas Harapan Nagari Aua Kuniang Pasaman Barat. This type of research is qualitative research using content analysis methods. The data type uses primary data and secondary data. The main instrument in this study was the researcher himself and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery, camera and flash drive. Data collection techniques are done by means of library studies, observations, interviews, documentation. The steps of analyzing data are collecting data, describing data and concluding data. The results showed that the structure of dance motion galombang silek is analyzed with three stages consisting of the system of relationships between basic elements, grammatical hierarchical relationships and syntagmatic and paradigmatic relationship systems. The relationship between the basic elements of silek galombang dance, has a basic element that relates to attitudes and motions on the head, body, hands and feet that produce motifs that overlap and alternate attitudes. Grammatical hierarchical relationship in silek galombang dance consists of 47 motifs with 27 forms of basic motifs, phrases as many as 23 phrases, sentences as many as 9 sentences and 1 cluster. In this dance there is a syntagmatic relationship system in which this dance can not be reversed because every motion is bound and overlapping and there are also paradigmatic relationships on some motifs where this dance can be reversed.

Abstract

This study is about Melly Goeslaw's My Heart Song Structure Analysis related to motives, phrases, periods, and forms. This research includes qualitative research with content analysis that is symmetrical, objectivity, and generalization. This research data was collected from the activities of Library Study, Observation, and Transcription / Labor Work.  The result of the study is that the song My Heart created by Melly Goeslaw formed by motifs, phrases, periods to produce form. Rhythmic and melodic basic motifs coupled with development techniques. Overall found as many as 23 motifs namely m, m1, m2, n, n1, n2, o, o1, o2, p, p1, p2, k, k1, k2, l, l1, q, q1, r, r1, r2, r3 with 16 phrases consisting of antecedents and consequents i.e. a, a1, a2, b, b1, b2, c (2x reps), c1, c2, d (1x reps) , d1, d2 and d. The song also consists of 4 forms namely A, B, C, D through the processing of motifs and phrases, in the phrase created the form of the song into A, A', B, B', C, B, D, D' with the period arrangement A (a, b), A' (a1, b1), B (c, d), B' (c, d1), C (a2, b2), B (c, d), D (c1, d2) and D' (c2 , d3). The song also has kadens namely half cadence, the picardie third, the imperfect authentic cadence and the perfect authentic cadence.

Abstract

The research problem was motivated by the obstacles faced by students in online learning. At SMP Negeri 25 Padang, the obstacles are in the form of internet quotas, signals, and difficulty level in accessing application so that the online learning is disrupted. This study aims to find out and describe the use of the Geschool application in learning polyphony singing of Culture and Arts subject matter in class VII, SMP Negeri 25 Padang.This study belongs to a descriptive qualitative research. The object of this research was the seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Padang. This study used stationery and mobile phone as research instruments. The data were in the form of primary and secondary data collected by using literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by using 6 stages consisting of identifying, classifying, clarifying, describing, analyzing, and concluding the data. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of Geschool application in learning polyphonic singing has been going well in the distrIbution of materials and assignments. It is suitable with the features provided by the Geschool application. However, it does not work well for practical learning. This is due to the fact that the practical learning is not optimal if it is taught through video learning only.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the history of the existence of Gordang Sambilan in the community in Taming village, Ranah Batahan District, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The instrument of this study is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques based on library studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The data is analyzed with data reduction measures, data presentation, and conclusion. The theories used in this study are as follows. The diffusion process includes; 1) the dissemination of culture; 2) the history of the dissemination of cultural elements. Based on the results of his research found that, the history of the existence of Gordang Sambilan in Taming village began in 2004 on the proposal of Prof. Dr. Marjuni Rangkuti Mangaraja Gading Patembal professor at the University of North Sumatera who is a descendant of the king. The making of Gordang Sambilan is done in cooperation by Taming villagers with materials from Aren trees. the use of Gordang is agreed only for customary wedding ceremonies with the condition of slaughtering 2 goats. Gordang Sambilan was first used in the traditional wedding procession in 2004. The first person to teach Gordang Sambilan to the community was Named Lokot Mian. Taming village youth are enthusiastic to learn Gordang Sembilan so that this art is loved by Taming villagers until now.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of analysis of semester exams by teachers as an evaluation of cultural arts (dance) learning at SMA Negeri 3 Payakumbuh. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach to analysis. The main instrument in this study was the researcher himself and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are conducted by means of observation, interview and literature studies. The steps of analyzing data are collecting data, describing data and concluding data. The results showed that the analysis of the problem items conducted by art and culture teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Payakumbuh, can be said as an extra activity (additional) curriculum because the activity of analysis of the point of this question is an activity outside the mandatory duties of teachers in schools. Of the 15 cultural arts (dance) questions that have been analyzed in mgmp discussion forums and observer participants discussions with teachers, it was determined that 8 questions should be replaced for reasons that do not fit the material and the choice of answer options that confuse students later. From the activities and results of analysis of questions like this, teachers have conducted qualitataif analysis of questions only from the construction aspect (how the problem was built) and the content aspect (how the material conformity) of the question analyzed. But the analysis of the problem that teachers do quantitatively is not done.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe the process of achieving the basic competencies of grade XI music materials at SMA N 4 Padang. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods of analysis. The main instrument in this study was the researchers themselves. Data collection techniques are conducted by means of observations, interviews, library studies and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are collecting data, describing data and concluding data. The results showed that the achievement of basic competencies of cultural arts subjects of music material class XI IS 1 as reflected in the implementation of the learning, has not been achieved as planned in the learning planning. The reason the researchers say is still not achieved, because in the implementation of learning by teachers focused on "the practice of playing songs instrumentally the song 'Ibu Kita Kartini' and the song 'Minangkabau' with pianika instruments, recorders, and guitar accompaniment.  Teacher's mastery of materials also plays an important role in achieving learning objectives. The teacher of cultural arts at SMA N 4 Padang has dance skills, and is less so mastering music art material. This causes the implementation of cultural arts learning music material is not in accordance with the learning objectives set out in the learning planning.

Abstract

Research on this writing to find out that how the technique of single stroke can be said as a basic technique in drumming. the purpose of this study is to see how important rudiment single stroke is too early learning drums. This research is qualitative descriptive research that reveals the current phenomenon. Single stroke technique as a researched object. The location of the research conducted is in the lecture environment of major drum Sendratasik Faculty of Language and Arts, Padang and Drum United Padang Community. Supported by research instruments that are researchers themselves. Techniques in data collection using observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The results of the study were found based on data from pre-field findings obtained through researcher assumptions and field finding data obtained through interview results to informants who are considered to know about single stroke. So the result of this research is rudiment single stroke technique is the basis at the beginning of drum learning because the technique is an easy technique to do than other rudiment techniques. It is also reinforced by the theory of dualism that is the technique of single stroke 2 substances are interrelated, this is about single stroke as the basis of practicing the balance of the left and right hands.

Abstract

This research discusses the Analysis of The Form and Structure of Melly Goeslaw's True Love Song which deals with motif processing, phrase processing, and period processing. This research includes qualitative research with content analysis approach that is systematic, objectivity, and generalization. This research data is collected from library study activities, observations, and labor work. Data analysis is done by means of data reduction, analysis and conclusion.  Based on the analysis of the song True Love created by Melly Goeslaw found The Shape of The Song is 4 parts with the sentences A A' B C and D in detail with the arrangement of sentences A (a, a1), A' (a2, b), B (c, c1), B (c, c1), C (d, d1), and D (c2, c4). Judging from the structure of the song is formed from 20 motifs. The processing of motifs from one basic or initial motif is developed by processing in a ha-rafiah, sequen up and down sequen, interval magnification and in-terval downsizing. The motives are m, m1, m2, m3, m4, n, o, p, q, q1, r, r1, r2, r3, s, s1, h, i, i1, and j. From the motive formed antecedent phrases, consequent phrases and connecting phrases as many as 15 phrases namely a, a1, a2, b, c (rep 1x), c1 (repetition 1x), c2, c3, d, d1 and phrase p / liaison (rep 2x). The end of period A has half kadens, the end of period A' has half kadens, the end of period B and D has perfect authentic cadence and the end of periodC has deceptive cadence. The D-shape is the part that modulates from the base tone of F Major to G Major.
