Abstract

Abstract The article aims to describe the implementation of learning outcomes assessment techniques, constraints faced by teachers in the implementation of students’ learning outcomes assessment techniques and solutions to the obstacles faced by arts and culture teachers on learning outcomes assessment based on the 2013 curriculum in art and culture subjects. This research was a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The types of data used were primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation, and documentation. In this research, the technique used was source triangulation. The steps to analyze data were data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. In general, the results confirmed that the art and culture teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Padang had not yet implemented as well as applied the assessment of learning outcomes based on the 2013 curriculum. The problems encountered were 1) the teachers had difficulty when observing outside the classroom, 2) the students who were not in accordance with the competencies achievements, 3) limited time to conduct all attitude assessment techniques. The solutions to these constraints are 1) the teachers use the time effectively, 2) The teachers motivate the students to be more active in learning arts and culture, 3) The teachers provide actual examples in delivering the material, 4) The teachers report to the principal about lack of facilities and infrastructures, 5) Teachers and schools try to provide direction, seminars and upgrading about learning based on the 2013 Curriculum. Abstract

Abstract  This study aims to describe how the implementation of pianika learning by using the peer tutoring method at class X IPA 3 on cultural art subject in SMA N 7 Padang.Type of the research was qualitative with using descriptive analysis method approach. The main instrument of this study was the researcher and it was supported with supporting instruments such as stationery and camera. Techniques of data collection were carried out by doing observation, interview and literature study. The steps in analyzing data were collecting, describing, and making conclusion.The result shows that in the implementation of the peer tutoring method in SMA N 7 Padang obtains satisfactory result for teacher and students. Students who initially have problems in capturing the subject are already able to receive the lesson well and students who become tutors also get new experiences such as they can speak in public and also learn how to share knowledge. During learning, the teacher is a facilitator and motivator who actively guides the students. Based on the result of the pianika practice examination, all of students get grades above the KKM or above 80 and only one that is incomplete because having special needs. Keywords: learn pianics, Peer tutor methods

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the musical structure of the Musette song in D Major by Johann Bach. This type of research was analysis content (content analysis) that displayed three conditions, namely: objectivity, systematic, and generalization. Objectivity was efforts to capture the nature (empirical) of an object that was being studied in a way that did not depend on any facilities from the subject that investigated it. The main instrument in this study was the researcher. Techniques of Data collection were carried out by taking literature study and observation. The steps in analyzing data were identifying the rhythm, melody and counter, as well as presenting data. The result of this study reveals the work of Musette in D Major by Johann Sebastian Bach that has a ternary part song form which is consisting of three periods. In each period, there are two phrases namely, the antecedent and the consequent phrases. In this work art, there is tonal counterparts element. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to explain the correlation of  learning motivation with the students’ learning outcome of the dance art in class X MAN 3 Padang. The problem of research was the difference of students’motivation in the class X MAN 3 Padang which were influenced by the teacher, materials, methods, media, and evaluation of the lesson. This research was quantitative research with correlational  methods. Correlational  research is a study tha measures the relationship between X dan Y variables. The research samples were 25 students of the class X-1 MAN 3 Padang. The instruments of the research were a questionnaire and a testof learning outcomes. The data were collected through interviews and observation as secondary data collection techniques. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between learning motivation and students’ learning outcomes at the dance subject at the MAN 3 Padang. It was proven by rxy value =0.759 which was higher than the rtable. 0.459. Thus,it has shown that the correlation between the two variables was significant. By proving this hypothesis, the learning motivation was demonstrated by attention, understanding diligence and confidence. The students’ learning outcome is improved when they are highly motivated to learn. Keyword: motivation, student learning results, dance lessons

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation of analysis of examination questions by the cultural arts teachers at Class X of Accounting Department in SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman. This type of study was qualitative research with using descriptive analysis method. The instrument of the study was the researcher and it was assisted by interview note, observation note, and documentation files. The researcher was involved in the research as a participant observer. The types of data were primary and secondary with qualitative data analysis techniques that described the problem. The result of this study indicates that the analysis of examination questions of cultural art (music) done by the teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman, which have been tested on the final exam in odd semester 2018/2019, shows the results of the existence of categories of questions that are easy, medium and difficult, based on the results of examination of students correct answers which have been recapitulated and summarized. there are six items whose material are not related to the subject, the description of questions are too broad and the questions that the teachers have never been explained in the Indonesian traditional music insight material, then the questions can be removed, replaced or corrected. Abstract

Abstract The Research aims to explain the implementation of PAN on the cultural / music art learning at class VII-G SMP Negeri 1 2x11 Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman regency. The type of this research was qualitative research with using analysis descriptive method. By using this research method, the object of assessment in the form of teacher activities on implementing PAN and assessment of the students learning outcomes is observed and the researcher is also involved in discussing it with the teacher. The main instrument used in this research was the researcher and it was supported by interview, observation, and library study. The result of this study shows that by using PAN, the student learning outcomes can be known and improved based on their students' abilities. Increasing the learning outcomes can be achieved because the value of the class average is rising from 70 to 77. It indicates that the students learn to improve their learning outcomes together. As long as the PAN is carried out, the teacher continues to motivate the students become active and excited in learning. Keywords: PAN, class average, cultural art learning/Music

Abstract

AbstractThis article aimed to determine the learning interest of students and factors that influence student interest in learning music art (singing) in SMP Negeri 5 Pariaman.This type of research was qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The main instrument in this study was the researchers themselves and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Techniques of data collection were carried out by means of literature studies, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed by looking at the results of observations and the results of interviews that had been conducted during the study.The results showed that there were two things that influenced the interest in learning singing in art and culture subject in 8th grade class of SMP N 5 Pariaman namely students’ internal and external factors. Internal factors include physical and psychological. External factors of students include the principal, teacher and parents. The lack of students' interest in learning the music art (singing) in SMP N 5 Pariaman is caused by the lack of strategies and methods used by teachers in the learning process. Whereas learning arts and culture (music) requires learning in the form of theory and practice in a balanced manner, to increase students' interest in learning in the art of music (singing).Keywords: Interest in study, singing, art and cultural learning

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation of dance music extracurricular at Aisyiyah Tourism Vocational School, West Sumatra. This type of research was a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher himself and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Then, the data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interview and library study. Data were analyzed by grouping data, describing data and making conclusions. The results of this study showed that extracurricular music (dance accompaniment) at the Aisyiyah Tourism Vocational School in West Sumatra was a routine activity aimed at helping activities in the school such as welcoming guests and other competitions. The process of implementing extracurricular music (dance accompaniment) at Aisyiyah Tourism Vocational School in West Sumatra is begun with a variety of preparation for the training ground, preparation of materials and methods used in the training process. Music material (dance accompaniment) is begun with basic training from various groups of melodic and percussion instruments as well as joint the training, while, the method used is the lecture, question and answer, peer tutoring and demonstration methods. Music extracurricular activities (dance accompaniment) have an organization that can help both in recruiting players and in the training process. Keywords: the performance of extracurricular music (dance accompaniment)

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to explain how the low impact of students ' absorption in the package book on the quality of learning in SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman. This type of research is qualitative research. The main instrument in this research is its own researchers and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery, dance music and cameras. Data types use primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are done by observation, interviews and documentation. The steps in analyzing data are grouping data, analyzing data, describing data and creating reports. The results showed that students in grade VII. 2 have not been able to understand learning by using the package book so that students have not been able to achieve the learning process well. The low power of grade VII. 2 students in cultural art packages has an impact on the quality of student learning in dance art. This is evidenced after students have participated in learning and have not had a high desire so that the creativity of students is lacking in the spirit of learning about the book art package culture in dance learning.
