The purpose of this research is 1) to improve students activity in learning through cooperative learning STAD in art lesson at SMP N 6 Pariaman, 2) to improve the the result of learning in art lesson through the using of cooperative learning STAD type at SMP N 6 Pariaman. Type of this research is classroom action research. Subject of this research is students of VIII 1 SMP N 6 Pariaman. Total of students are 19 students. This research is hel in VIII 1 SMP N 6 Pariaman, Jln Gondoriah No 70 K, Pariaman, West Sumatera. This research is held of two cycle, technique of collecting data through observation form, result observation. Technique of analysis data use percentage formula. The result of this research conclude that the using of cooperative learning STAD can improve students activity in learning art lesson. This method also can improve the achievement of students in learning art lesson, VIII 1 class at SMP N 6 Pariman. At the pre- cycle, the mean of students ability is 62,47 then at the first cycle 68,89 and rised at the second cycle, 86,84.

The purpose of this research are to (1) know increase student’s motivation in study fine art using Examples Non Examples model (2) know increase result study of student in study fine art using Examples Non Examples. Study model which in purpose is Examples Non Examples model. Source of this research is student class VII 3 SMP Land 12 Padang, with using observation, registered wide, questionnaire and result study tes. The result are (1) there is increasing of student’s motivation from siklus I is 3, 25 to siklus II is 4, 01. (2) there is increasing result study of student from pra siklus is 64, 24 to siklus I is 72, 24 and siklus II 84, 14.

The instrument which is usedis obstruction questionnaire which come from family society, teacher, and peers.The source in this research is primary data which is taken directly from therespondent trough questionnaire. To analyze the data uses descriptive analysis byusing SPSS version 16,00 Program.

The purposes of this final works of art are: 1) to defined bendi as a traditional transportation which is environment friendly art graphic creation, 2) to reveal the uniqueness of bendi that had been forgotten through graphic art creation. In creation process of graphic art, writer methodologically did some stage of exploration (seeking ideas) and implementation stages. Technique was using this final works of art is serigraphy. Along with technology progression, transportation tools are also had been developed. Although bendi is defeated by motor-vehicles, but it is still be used until now.Key word : graphic art, bendi

The purpose of this research is to get information and to describe about: the factors which effect to interest of students in choise Mata Kuliah Paket Kriya Anyam Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa in Jurusan Seni Rupa FBS UNP Padang. The subject of research is the students of Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa FBS UNP Padang. While the kind of research is quantitative wiht use descriptive metodh for disriptive or know the factor inner urge, the factor of social motif, factor emosional which effect interest student on the choice mata kuliah paket Kriya Anyam. The source in this research is primary data which is taken directly from the respondent trough questionnaire. To technic analyze the data uses descriptive, analysis with descriptive percent of frekuency and mean by using SPSS version 16,00 Program. The findings of the study showed that the factor inner urge is the good factor with percent 47,73 %. The factor of social motif is the good factor with percent 50 %. factor emosional is the good factor with percent 47,7 % effect interest student on the choice mata kuliah paket Kriya Anyam.

The purpose of this research to describe spiritual behavior and learning outcome of students at SMP N 1 Enok in Visual Art learning and to state was there relationship between both of variables. This research was descriptive correlational. Total sample of 86. Technique of data collection used questionnaire and value of Visual Art learning. Data analysis used Product Moment Pearson formula. Result of this research shown spiritual behavior 73,33%. Learning outcome was achieved sum of 76 with correlation coefficient 0,487** and Sig 0,00. Level of relationship was happened between both of variables that was moderate with direction of positive relationship.

Its materializes this opus of yielding observing, kontemplasi, then visualisation into lines, color and desirable object form. Among the many leaders of West Sumatra artists who have recorded and on the pillowcase in the creative development of the arts in society today, there are still artists who have recorded figures of its existence. If the research is not done now, the artist traces the West Sumatra would be lost without any data at all. One of them is Nurdin B.S. The purpose of this study was (1) to explain the existence of Nurdin B.S. in art work, (2) to explain the existence of continuity and discontinuity Nurdin B.S. works in painting. Data sources of this study are oral sources as the primary source of direct spoken by informants and written sources as secondary sources. Data were collected using the methods of observation, interviews, documentation and browse the internet. The results showed that Nurdin B.S. has existence in the work of art that is influenced by factors: social institutions; artists factors, and society as a supporting factor. Later it was revealed that Nurdin B.S. experiencing discontinuity and continuity of work due to the condition of the people who do not support and sustain the demands of the economic factor in his artistic life.

The purpose of these study was to determine the relationship of students’ facility with the learning outcomes of arts and culture in the fild of visual art at SMPN 1 Batang Anai. The research hypothesis is there is a significant relationship between the use of students’ facility with the learning outcomes of cultural arts in the field of visual arts at SMPN 1 Batang Anai. The study population was all students from 10 class. The study sample class VII. The technique of data collection is use a questionnaire to respondents, while the data of students learning out comes obtained from Arts teacher. Type of research is purposive sampling. The findings of the study indicated that the calculation results revealed that the correlation coefficient of the variable X to variable Y rxy = 0, 668 is highly significant (where t-count equal 4, 745) t-table = 1,697 to = 0, 05). Thus there is a significant and positive relation ship between the use of facility to the learning out comes of student studying fine arts at SMPN 1 Batang Anai.
