Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the Welcome Statue at Air Tawar Area in Padang. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data in this study of foam welcome statue (primary data), informants and literature(secondary data). Data collection procedures done through observation, interviews and documentation study. Based on the results of the study, concluded the following. The conclusions of the study: Welcome Statue at Air Tawar Area in Padang is asclupture that serve as icon that serves as a symbol of welcoming guests who enter the city of Padang, especially at Air Tawar area. Advice to future researchers to investigate further, so that the information about Welcome Statue at Air Tawar Area in Padang more complete.Keyword: welcome statue, foam, function

Abstract

The purpose of this final paper is to visualize the lights as a symbol the phenomenon of problems that occur in Indonesia.Lights become symbols of messages to deliver news or information about problems that have occurred lately. To creating of art there are several methods in realizing art ideas preparation is the search for ideas, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, exhibition. Abstract

This research aims: 1) environmental conditions contribute to the learning outcomes family of fine arts students of SMAN 9 Padang, 2) the contribution of school environment on learning outcomes, 3) the contribution of family and school environment on learning outcomes , Type descriptive correlational. The study population numbered 805 students. The research sample 93 students. Questionnaire tested for validity and realibilitasnya. Hypothesis analysis using linear regression analysis formula is simple and multiple linear regression analysis. RESULTS: (1) there is a significant contribution to the family environment learning outcomes of 22.8%. (2) there is a significant contribution to the school environment learning outcomes 37.9%. (3) the family and school environments contribute to the learning outcomes by 45%.Keywords: Family Environment Condition, School Environment Condition, Learning Result of Fine Arts.

Abstract

The purpose of the creation of this final work is visualize the tattoo motif in decorative painting. The method of creating artwork uses five stages: preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, concept realization stage and completion stage. In the creation of works, use acrylic paint on canvas using black, reddish-brown and blue. The style used is a decorative style that is the flow of painting style that combines the lines and arches to form fields or objects. So the shape of objects in decorative painting tends to look like geomatrical fields. Abstract

This thesis aims to inform teenage gangs conditions to public education in the media, especially the world of comics. Embodiments of the comics media because they are freer to imagine and fantasize. Methods and steps in the process begins with the preparation, elaboration, synthesis, the realization of the concept will be presented to the public through exhibitions. Abstract

This work aims to describe the meaning of suggestion affects human behavior in painting realist, so as to increase public appreciation of the importance of awareness in communication, a method in the manufacture of this thesis through several stages of preparation, elaboration, synthesis, the realization of the concept, consultations with the supervisor and completion. Abstract

Student learning outcomes for subjects of Arts Culture sub-field of Art Studies students class VII in SMPN 6 Sungai Penuh not satisfactory. For that done efforts to improve learning outcomes by using audio visual media in the learning process. This study aims to describe the effect of audio visual media usage and motivation on the result of Art Culture learning in the field of Fine Arts study of class VII students at SMPN 6 Sungai Penuh.The research method used is quasi experimental (experimental quasi) with faktorial 2 × 2 research design, with sample determination using purposive sampling technique. Researcher get class VII / A as experiment class and class VIII / B as control class. The data collection is done through questionnaire instrument of learning motivation and test result of learning, the test used needs to be seen first the index of difficulty, distinguishing power, and reliability. The data analysis technique is descriptive processing and inductive analysis using SPSS v.18.Based on the hypothesis test the results obtained 1) Sig-alpha (0.000 <0.05) and t arithmetic greater than t table (4.764> 2.021), then Ho is rejected and and H1 accepted, thus the experiment class learning outcomes differ significantly Learning result of control class, 2) Sig-alpha (0,012 <0,05) and t count bigger than t table (3,081> 2,228), hence Ho is rejected and and H1 accepted, thus learning result of learning motivation high class experiment differ (3) sig-alpha (0,016 <0,05) and t count bigger than t table (2,884> 2,228), hence Ho is rejected and H1 accepted, thus result of learning Low motivation learning experimental classes differ significantly compared to the students' learning outcomes of low motivation learning experiments.The study concluded that the use of audio visual learning media has a positive effect on the students' learning outcomes in the learning of Cultural Arts in the field of art study in the seventh grade of SMPN 6 Sungai Penuh.Keywords : Audio Visual Media Learning and Motivation, Student Learning Resul
