The purpose this final work is to visualize AsmaulHusna'scaligraphy in graphic art with stencil print technique. The method used there are five stages: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization and completion. At the end of the stages writer held exhibitions. Media used in the creating of graphic works art is watercolors on canvas. The 10 works include al-Malik, al-'Aziz, al-Mutakabir, al-Qahar, al-'Azhim, al-'Aliy, al-Kabir, al-Qawiy, al-Muqtadir, al-Baqiy representing themes who was raised about the greatness of God. the purpose of creating works of art is to know the extent to which body language plays a role in human social life as the delivery of nonverbal messages, and to present works of sculptures that look at body pieces and visualize works by using a realist style. Method of cultivating results in the idea of art ideas in the creation process are among others: Preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and completion. The results of the process through the idea into the form of sketches designed in such a way Based on the photographs made sketches which then consulted to the supervisor when it was getting the concept of work then visualize it in the form of a realist sculpture. the final stage of the process of making works where the author is ready to visualize into a final work as a condition for completing the degree program of art education.Keywords: Body Language, Statue, Realist.

The purpose of the creation of this work is to present a painting by visualizing the influence of modernization on the life of Minangkabau women into paintings with decorative patterns. For the method of creation of art, the writer uses five stages: preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, realization stage of concept and completion stage and last author held exhibition of work. The ten works that the authors present represent the theme that the author lifted, containing about the problems associated with Minangkabau women in the era of modernization, contains about the phenomena that occur around the life of the author. The tenth works include: 1) Alaik Usai Anak Kalua, 2) Tempting, 3) Shame, 4) Forgotten, 5) Ethics, 6) Show, 7) Western Culture, 8) Dance Plates, 9) Forgot self, and 10) Adaik Basandi Parampuan.Kata Kunci: Perempuan Minangkabau, Seni Lukis, Dekoratif.

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the use of learning discovery learning model to the learning result of Fine Arts students SMPN 39 Padang. This type of research is an experimental study that applies quasi experimental pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of SMPN 39 Padang who studied art. The sample in this esearch use purposive random sampling technique. The data source is a written test given to the students. The data obtained were then analyzed statistically. he test consists of multiple questions about applied art theory. T-test was used to prove the hypothesis of this study. By using the application of learning discovery learning model positively significant in the level of 5% of the learning outcomes that are taught using conventional methods.Keywords: Learning model, discovery learning, art learning, learning result

Man likes a cat because a its looking beautiful, friendly, spoiled and friendly. However, some the people are not like it. The writer very love the animal therefore the purpose of work are to realize moment of a cat as the source of fun through step in your five steps of them; preparation, elaboration, synthesis, the realization the concept, and finishing the end terminated by held exhibition. Finally writer generate 7 work tapestri with a tittle, including: swathe color, a jungle cat, gaze plaintive, that look that the up anger, angry, character, a mixture. This final project aimed to remind people, government, including myself to use the sidewalk as it should be. Due to the misuse of sidewalk, a lot of bad things happened. Besides, this project employed 5 steps which were Preparation, Elaboration, Synthesis, Concept realization, and Completion. The artworks displayed were about the realities that often happened, and some of the were about the misuse of sidewalk. The purpose of this research is :1.Identifying the form of interior ornamentdesign of Rumah Gadang Kajang Padati in Padang City. 2. Identify the functionof interior ornament design of Rumah Gadang Kajang Padati in Padang City. 3.Explainng the Spatial Arrangement interior of Rumah Gadang Kajang Padati inPadang City.The research is located at Kalumbuak and Lubuk Lintah subdistrict Kuranjiin Padang City. It use quantitative method with descriptive approach.It carried out by field observations, interviews and collection of documentation. For analysis and data collection, by reducing data, presenting data and take aconclusion. To test the validity of data, done by data triagualiton.The results of research founded in the form of ornamental functions,there isthe name of the ornament that comes from the natural form of flora, fauna andgeometric,which are almost identical in each aspect and have the same function.There are ten ornaments have 2 kinds of areas, namely Aceh and Minangkabau.All the names and forms of these ornaments made in the form of large and small aspects, placed vertically, horizontally and regionally on Rumah Gadang.on the Spatial Arrangement interior is divided into top, front and side view.Keywords: Form, Function, Spatial

The creation of this final project aims to convey the message about the characteristic factors and the form of the development popular culture through the medium of visual digital painting. This work raise the social and historical of hippies culture.The creation of the art work needs to do a variety method such as making efforts to preparation, observation, searching for information, appreciation, contempation, excavation of reference, and literature which related to the main idea, as well as to deepening the material indirictly around the environment accordance in with the problem. In the concept of creating this work, the author embodies the shape figures and the variety subjects as a form of representation the popular culture. The appearance of Hippies history and cultural development is presented in the form of ten digital paintings in Pop Art style. Among them are entitled Perkumpulan, Hope #1, Hope #2, Generasi Y, The Plastic, Hippies Local, Dominasi Musik, The Zeigest, Nomads, Tamparan Keras. Keyword : Hippies Culture, Digital Painting Art

The purpose of the research is to improve the students’ learning outcomes at grade X 1 of MA Shine Al-Falah Padang in learning sklill through the application of learning model of Project Based Learning. The research method used is classroom action esearch. The procedure of the researvh shaped of a cycle which consisting of three stages: planning, action/observastion, and reflection. The result showed that the earning of project Based Learning in sklill material can improve the students’ earning outcomes above the minimum mastery criteria. This is evidenceinthe first cycle with an average value 73,5 to 82,5 in the second cycle.Keywords: Students’ Learning Outcomes, Project Based Learning,Learning Sklills

This study aims to describe. Khat 1), Media 2), and Color 3) Arabic calligraphy at the Sacred Mosque, to be known to the people especially the villages of Central Island of Kerinci Regency of Jambi Province. The research method used is qualitative method with descriptive approach. Research location in Central Island village, Kerinci, Jambi. Research subjects are mosque officials, community leaders and artists. Sources of data were obtained from the informants of the Keramat mosque in the form of written notes, audio recordings, videos, photographs, and literature studies. Data were analyzed by qualitative analysis.The result of the research shows that Khat type: Tsuluth and Naskhi. Media: Canvas, Triplek, Cement, Watercolors and Oil Paints Manufacturers, and Colors: Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Pink, Cream, Chocolate, White and Black.Keywords: Khat Type, Media And Color Arabic Calligraphy Mosque Keramat Central Island Village, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province.
