Abstract

One of the obstacles in improving the quality of education and learning in schools is the lack of improvement in the quality of teachers. In addition, the limited opportunity to gain additional knowledge and skills for teachers is the cause of the decline in the quality of education. The results of the instructor team's discussion with Desmiyanti, S, Pd. a teacher in the field of Fine Arts Studies at SMPN 2 VII Koto Sungai Sariak, Padang Pariaman Regency (2020) that: the implementation of Fine Arts learning at SMPN Padang Pariaman Regency is on average taught by teachers with educational backgrounds other than Fine Arts. One indication shows the low ability of teachers in batik learning materials that require theory and practice of standard materials and equipment and procedures. As a consequence, the learning of fine arts, especially batik material, does not work properly. Especially if it is related to batik materials and equipment, the average junior high school level has received subsidies from the education office. However, in reality, teachers are not able to utilize the materials and equipment of batik that are already available for learning fine arts. Concerns about the inability of teachers in the learning process, especially this batik material, require teachers to attend education and training/workshops on: "The Application of Minangkabau Ornaments in Batik Learning for Middle School and MTsN Cultural Arts Teachers in Padang Pariaman Regency", so that junior high school arts and culture teachers /MTsN is able to teach one of the Competency Standards, namely: (4.1) "application of Decorative Variety on textiles based on fabrics" in class VII.Keywords: art and culture, membatik.AbstrakSalah satu kendala dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan pembelajaran di sekolah-sekolah adalah kurangnya perbaikan terhadap kualitas guru. Di samping itu keterbatasan kesempatan untuk mendapatkan penambahan ilmu dan keterampilan bagi guru menjadi penyebab turunnya mutu pendidikan. Hasil diskusi tim instruktur dengan Desmiyanti, S,Pd. guru bidang Studi Seni Rupa SMPN 2 VII Koto Sungai Sariak Kabupaten Padang Pariaman (2020) bahwa: pelaksanaan pembelajaran Seni Rupa di SMPN Kabupaten Padang Pariaman rata-rata diajar oleh guru-guru dengan latar belakang pendidikan bukan Seni Rupa. Salah satu indikasi menunjukkan rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam materi pembelajaran membatik yang membutuhkan teori dan praktik bahan dan peralatan serta perosedur yang baku. Konsekuensinya, pembelajaran seni rupa khususnya materi membatik tidak berjalan menurut semestinya. Apalagi jika dikaitkan dengan bahan dan peralatan membatik yang rata-rata sekolah tingkat SMP sudah mendapatkan subsidi dari dinas pendidikan. Namun kenyataannya, guru tidak mampu memanfaatkan bahan dan peralatan membatik yang sudah tersedia untuk pembelajaran seni rupa. Abstract

This study aims to find out what aspects of akhlak education are contained in the animated film "Riko The Series" by Teuku Wisnu, Arie Untung, and Yuda Wirafianto. This type of research is a maximum of qualitative research with research subjects that are directly from the animated film "Riko The Series" season two starting from episodes 1-21. The data was obtained using documentation and observation techniques. From the results of the study, it was found that aspects of akhlak education in the animated film Riko The Series season two include: 1) Aspects of akhlak education to Allah, namely being grateful, serving Allah, loving and fearing Allah, tawakal and istigfar. 2) Aspects of akhlak education among human beings, namely to oneself which consists of being patient and forgiving. 3) Aspects of akhlak education to parents. 4) Aspects of akhlak education for brothers. 5) Aspects of akhlak education towards friends. 6) Aspects of akhlak education on the environment.

Abstract

The purpose this final work is to visualize AsmaulHusna'scaligraphy in graphic art with stencil print technique. The method used there are five stages: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization and completion. At the end of the stages writer held exhibitions. Media used in the creating of graphic works art is watercolors on canvas. The 10 works include al-Malik, al-'Aziz, al-Mutakabir, al-Qahar, al-'Azhim, al-'Aliy, al-Kabir, al-Qawiy, al-Muqtadir, al-Baqiy representing themes who was raised about the greatness of God. Abstract

Pembuatan karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan kenakalan remaja akibat teknologi digital dalam karya lukis kontemporer. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kegelisahan penulis terhadap kenakalan remaja yang dilakukan akibat pengaruh dari teknologi digital. Metode penciptaan pada karya akhir dilakukan secara bertahap yaitu: tahap persiapan, elaborasi, sintesis, realisasi konsep, dan tahapan penyelesaian. Lima karya dengan ukuran 100 cm x 100 cm dan lima lainnya dengan ukuran 120 cm x 100 cm  menggunakan media akrilik di atas kanvas dengan judul “terlanjur”, “candu”, “larut”, “gelap mata”, “terbawa arus”, “terbelenggu”, “lupa daratan”, “meninggalkan prioritas demi popularitas”, “demi konten”, “genting”.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes subjectsmedia campaign indoor through the use of visual media Prezi class XII student of SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with the use of visual media DKV Prezi in class XII SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman. The experiment was conducted as many as two cycles, means of data collection using observation sheet teacher, student observation sheet and format of learning outcomes assessment, data is processed using a percentage formula. The results of data processing showed an increase learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle of learning 70.50 and the second cycle increased 80.33. Obtaining the results of study showed significant improvement. It was concluded that the use of visual media Prezi can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to see how peer tutoring strategies and student learning motivation affect Typography learning outcomes at Fine Art Department Faculty of Languages and Arts Universitas Negeri Padang (FBS UNP), as well as how they interact with one another. A quasi-experimental design with a 2X2 factorial design was used in this study. To collect research data, a learning motivation questionnaire and learning outcomes tests were used. After that, the data was analyzed using the Analysis of Variance Test (ANOVA). The research findings show that: 1) students who are taught using peer tutoring strategies have different or higher typography learning outcomes than students who are taught conventionally or without using peer tutoring strategies, 2) High learning motivation students have different or higher typography learning outcomes than low learning motivation students. According to the study's findings, peer tutoring strategies and learning motivation improve student learning outcomes in Typography courses. In terms of influencing student learning outcomes, they are not mutually dependent. As a result, peer tutoring strategies are extremely effective, and lecturers must continuously improve learning motivation throughout the learning process in order to improve student learning outcomes, particularly in the Typography subject.

Abstract

Traditional arts that have high artistic value must always be preserved from extinction. In order to maintain the popularity of traditional art in Indonesia, it is necessary that artists, teachers, and society understand it deeply. Every fine arts artist, teacher, and community must have a sense of nationalism towards traditional art in order to be able to maintain and become a stronghold of traditional art itself. This study aims to rediscover the values of traditional culture that are spread in several regions in Indonesia with the hope that it can be absorbed into modern art so that the value of traditional art is not completely eroded. This research uses Spradley's qualitative research method or ethnographic qualitative research with the aim of systematically describing deeper cultural characteristics. This research produces a description of the characteristics of traditional culture contained in several traditional arts and crafts spread across Indonesia, each region has cultural characteristics that are different from other regions which are influenced by several diverse factors. The characteristics of each artistic value are maintained and absorbed into modern art for maintained and taught in the world of education so that art saviors are born who are able to transform traditional arts into modern artistic values. As art saviors, artists need awareness of a sense of "nationalism" in each of them which is obtained through an understanding of these traditional arts.Keywords: high art, education, culture, nationalism. AbstrakKesenian tradisional yang memiliki nilai seni tinggi harus selalu dilestarikan dari kepunahan. Untuk mempertahankan popularitas seni tradisional di Indonesia, diperlukan seniman, guru, dan masyarakat yang memahaminya secara mendalam. Setiap seniman seni rupa, guru dan masyarakat harus memiliki rasa nasionalisme terhadap seni tradisional agar mampu menjaga dan menjadi benteng kesenian tradisional itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kembali nilai nilai kebudayaan tradisional yang tersebar di dibeberapa daerah di Indonesia dengan harapan dapat dilakukan penyerapan kedalam seni modern agar nilai dari kesenian tradisional tidak terkikis sepenuhnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif Spradley atau penelitian kualitatif  etnografi dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan karakteristik kultural lebih mendalam secara sistematis. Penelitian ini menghasilkan deskripsi karakteristik kebudayaan tardisional yang terkandung dari beberapa kerajinan seni tradisional yang tersebar di wilayah Indonesia, setiap daerah memiliki karakterstik kebudayaan yang berbeda dari daerah lain yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa factor yang beragam, Karakteristik dari setiap nilai kesenian dipertahankan dan diserap kedalam kesenian modern untuk dipertahankan dan diajarkan dalam dunia Pendidikan agar terlahir penyelamat kesenian yang mampu melakukan transformasi seni tradisional menjadi nilai seni modern. Abstract

Tujuan penciptaan karya ini adalah untuk mempresentasikan kebudayaan tengkuluk Jambi dalam karya digital painting. Tengkuluk merupakan penutup kepala dari kain batik yang dililitkan tanpa jahitan yang biasa digunakan perempuan Jambi. Tengkuluk merupakan produk kebudayaan melayu yang digunakan di berbagai acara adat di Jambi. Eksistensi tengkuluk Jambi sebagai sebuah kebudayaan sudah mulai dilupakan karena kurang dibudayakannya penggunaan tengkuluk. Selain itu, tidak banyak informasi terkait tata cara penggunaan serta penjelasan makna dan filosofi pada setiap variasi tengkuluk. Oleh karena itu karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk mempresentasikan dan mengenalkan kembali kebudayaan tengkuluk dalam karya digital painting di mana objek utama dalam penciptaan karya ini adalah tengkuluk. Metode penciptaan karya ini melalui lima tahapan yang diawali dengan tahap persiapan yakni melakukan observasi yang selanjutnya dianalisis lebih lanjut atau disebut tahap elaborasi, kemudian tahap sintesis menetapkan ide dan realisasi konsep. Pada proses penciptaan karya penulis menggunakan aplikasi Adobe Illustrator dan Procreate yang diakses melalui perangkat laptop dan Ipad. Penulis membuat 10 karya digital dengan judul : “Tengkuluk Berumbai Jatuh”, “Tengkuluk Daun Mangis”, “ Tengkuluk Bambu”, “Tengkuluk Sapit Mayang”, “Tengkuluk Aur Cino”, “Tengkuluk Sanggul Tercacah”, “Tengkuluk Kerinci Mudik”, “Tengkuluk Rambahan”, “Tengkuluk Teribai”, “Tengkuluk Daun Pakis Terjuntai”.

Abstract

This work aims to visualize the problems of adolescents experienced by the author through the image of a guitar which is used as a metaphor in digital painting works. The hope of this work is to improve the messages contained, to be able to inspire and provide support to teenagers who find it difficult to deal with problems. With this work, the author seeks to raise awareness of the importance of mutual understanding and provide space to talk about sensitive issues in the youth environment. The method of creating this work follows five stages, namely: preparation, in which the author makes observations and explorations to find inspiration. Then, at the elaboration stage, relevant references are collected and searched. The third stage, synthesis, involves applying the ideas and main ideas that have been generated. Furthermore, at the concept realization stage, the final work is made based on the previously designed concept. Finally, at the completion stage, the work is exhibited and a report is created covering the entire process from start to finish. In creating works, the author uses the Krita application as a technique in making digital painting works. Each work features a guitar object consisting of 10 works with the titles, "Break up", "Abandoned", "Stuck", "Confused", Depression", "Social Media", "Frenzy", Academic", "Bully", and “trapped”

Abstract

In Islam, morality is something that is closely related to faith and cannot be separated. In an Islamic perspective, character or morals have a very high position (Bafadhol, 2017). This study aims, (1) to find out whether there are moral education values ​​for peers in Alii Farighi's novel Cinta Subuh. (2), to find out the essence of youth moral education towards peers in the novel Cinta Subuh by Alii Farighi. This research method is qualitative with a content analysis approach. This type of research is library research. The results of this study are first, there are values ​​of moral education towards peers in the novel Cinta Subuh by Alii Farighi. Second, the essence of moral education towards peers in the novel Cinta Subur includes; ; morals in speaking, tawadhu', advising each other, loving and helping each other, being honest and forgiving each other.
