Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine cross-cultural leadership between countries in Asia and in western countries, this is because leaders have subordinates consisting of different cultures, ethnicities, social status, and citizenship. Culture, values, norms, and ethics have an influence on the attitude of a leader in behavior. Although there are many differences in culture, attitudes, and language used in behaving as a leader, many studies have shown similarities in leadership between western countries and countries in Asia. These similarities are shown in the same perception about leadership. The many differences are influenced by culture, so in cross-cultural leadership needed leaders who have competence. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity, profitability, asset structure, firm size, sales growth, and business risk on the capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. This sampling technique was carried out using a purposive sampling method, with an observation period from 2015 to 2019, so that 187 observation data were obtained. The secondary data source in this study came from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis using the SPSS program. Based on the analysis results can be Key: (1) Liquidity, Profitability, and Asset Structure have a significant negative effect on capital structure; (2) sales growth has a significant positive effect on capital structure; (3) Company Size and Business Risk have no significant effect on capital structure. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh likuiditas, profitabilitas, sturuktur aktiva, ukuran perusahaan, pertumbuhan penjualan, dan risiko bisnis terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2015-2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling, dengan periode pengamatan selama tahun 2015 sampai 2019, sehingga didapatkan data observasi sebanyak 187. Sumber data sekunder dalam penelitian ini berasal dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan: (1) Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, dan Struktur Aktiva berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap struktur modal; (2) Pertumbuhan Penjualan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap struktur modal; (3) Ukuran Perusahaan dan Risiko Bisnis tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work performance appraisal variables on employee motivation and compensation as an intervening variable for members of the TNI at the Denhubrem, Palembang City. The results of work performance appraisal can affect employee motivation. Motivation influences human behavior and is hard, so they want to work hard and are eager to achieve optimal results. In addition, compensation affects employee motivation. This research uses the path analysis method to prove that the compensation variable can mediate between work performance appraisal and work motivation. The direct and indirect effect of work performance appraisal on work motivation is calculated.

Abstract

This study aims to identify a series of TQM practices followed in the SME Handicraft manufacturing sector and in the Tour & Travel SME service sector in Bantul. In collecting data this research used a questionnaire. The distribution of the questionnaires was carried out by distributing directly to 30 craftsmen of the handicraft center SMEs and 30 of the Tour and Travel Service Industry SMEs in Bantul, Yogyakarta. The analytical method used is comparative can be solved using the average difference test. The results show that there are differences in the priority of TQM dimensions in manufacturing and service SMEs. Total Quality Management has a significant positive effect on company performance in manufacturing SMEs. Total Quality Management has a significant positive effect on Company Performance in SME services

Abstract

Implementing social distancing caused consumers to take care of their beauty and body care because they had more time at home, resulting in increased purchasing decisions for beauty care products. Purchase decisions have five aspects: need recognition, search for information, alternative evaluation, purchase decision, and post-purchase behavior. In the search for Information process, electronic word of mouth is the most helpful information because it is independent and has relevant information for consumers. This study aimed to see the effect of electronic word of mouth on purchasing decisions of the user of beauty products X. This study used associative quantitative research techniques. One hundred participants were selected purposively to be the samples of the study. The data were taken using a Likert scale questionnaire as a research instrument and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis with SPSS 25.00. The analysis result obtained a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. Therefore, the Electronic Word of mouth influences the Purchase Decision variable of the user of beauty product X

Abstract

The combination of the pandemic and the digitization process development is considered the right combination to boost students entrepreneurial spirit in this article. Through the use of digital ethnographic methods and interviews, the factors that influence the processof starting a business include self-will, encouragement from people around, awareness of the widespread phenomenon of online shopping,the desire to increase pocket money, and the use of free time from the flexible course schedule. This article also underlines the innovationsmade by students in developing their respective businesses through the social media platforms they use, such as continuously updating thecatalog of goods sold and brand development to stand out in the market with the same goods in the hope of attracting buyers' s attention.Overall, online business using social media offers an excellent opportunity for students during this pandemic. The growth of theentrepreneurial spirit in the subject can be studied by looking at how a student uses time to become an entrepreneur.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Carrington model in shaping the actual buying behavior of coffee in Garut Regency. This research was conducted because of the gap between intention and actual purchase behavior. The quantitative survey method was used to analyze the variables of knowledge, interest in implementation, and actual behavioral control. Researchers collected data through observation, distributing questionnaires, and documentation. Questionnaires in this study were administered online and offline to coffee consumers. The number of consumers studied was 400 respondents. Researchers analyzed the data using cluster analysis tools with SPSS 25.0 tools and SEM-PLS with smartPLS. The results of hypothesis testing show that knowledge has an effect on implementation interest through actual behavioral control.

Abstract

An increased turnover can harm the company, especially in productivity, and increase costs. Turnover intention is a measurement of whether employees plan to leave their positions. Factors that can influence turnover intention are job promotions and transformational leadership styles. This study aims to determine the effect of job promotion and transformational leadership style on the turnover intention at Zia Kuta Hotel. Data collection used are interviews, documentation, and online questionnaires with a saturated sampling technique. Thirty-seven respondents were involved in this study except for General Manager. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that job promotion and transformational leadership style negatively and significantly affect turnover intention. Job promotion and transformational leadership style simultaneously considerably affect employees' turnover intention. The results of the determination coefficient analysis, job promotion, and transformational leadership style have a 62.3% contribution.

Abstract

The performance report data gathered from Key Performance Indicators, Bureau of Budget Planning and International Cooperation, Ministry of Public Works, and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia 2015-2020 shows they did not reach their target because of factors such as organizational culture, leadership, the quality of human resources, and working motivation. Therefore, this study aims to analyze both partial and simultaneous impacts of organizational culture, leadership, the quality of human resources, and workingmotivation on employee performance in the Bureau of Budget Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Public Works, and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia. Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial literacy and market discipline on investment decisions in a community called Indonesian Stock Investors. The research method used is the descriptive analysis method. The population in this study were members of the Indonesian Stock Investor community, with a sample of 98 respondents who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The analysis technique used in this study is validity and reliability testing, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing using SPSS software. Based on the study's results shows that 1) financial literacy affects investment decisions in the Indonesian Stock Investor community. 2) There is an influence of market discipline on investment decisions in the Indonesian Stock Investor community. 3) There is an influence of financial literacy and market discipline on investment decisions in the Indonesian Stock Investor community.
