Abstract

Early childhood is the age when it grows its era of sensitive to the development of cognitive ability, physical-motor, language, socio-emotional, moral value of religion. At this time the administration of the lack must be adjusted to the age level. Calistung can already be applied to improve early childhood as long as the development aspect. Calistung was introduced by Maria Montessori and Gleen Doman. The process of learning education in early childhood should be recorded in order to provide meaningful concept through real experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan minat anak didik dalam mendengarkan cerita melalui media gambar. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena terdapat permasalahan terhadap minat anak didik dalam mendengarkan cerita. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 Taman Kanak-kanak Mawar Kota Padangsidimpuan yang berjumlah 15 orang anak. Objek penelitian adalah meningkatkan minat mendengarkan cerita anak melalui media gambar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar instrumen, serta melakukan penilaian dengan observasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 (dua) siklus.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat anak mendengarkan cerita meningkat setelah adanya tindakan. Hasil observasi meningkat dari siklus 1 diperoleh 30% dan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 80%. Dapat disimpulkan mulai dari pra siklus 1, dan siklus 2 bahwa upaya meningkatkan minat anak mendengarkan cerita dengan menggunakan media gambar di TK Mawar Kota Padangsidimpuan Tahun Ajaran 2018 mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the influence of the level of breastfeeding in the cognitive orientation of children4 – 6 years old in Malang. This study uses analytical research methods using a descriptive cross sectional approach or in other words the study uses the type of correlational research. The sampling techniques on this study were taken with random sampling cluster techniques. While sample data sources are selected purposive and snowball sampling. Data collection instruments to assess the rate of feeding is the feeding questionnaire and the biodata of parents and children. To assess the level of intelligence conducted IQ test with WPPSI test instrument (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence) conducted by a psychologist. Data analysis on this research is quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data analysis was conducted to see the level of cognitive feeding for children aged 4 – 6 years. It will be described through descriptive statistics presented in the form of tables and graphs. From the study of the rate of breast feeding in the orientation of Islamic children 4 – 6 years old in Malang, only 54% of the proportion of mothers give exclusive breast milk to more than 4 months. Infants with an exclusive rate of breastfeeding of no more than 4 months have a risk of 7.325 times greater to develop a distorted development compared to a child who is given more than 4 months of breastfeeding. Children with long lactation ≥ 6 months have higher cognitive function than children with long lactation < 6 months. Based on the objectives and results of synthesis analysis can be obtained several conclusions that there is relevance between the perspective of the Qur'an about the delivery of breast milk with the results of research.

Abstract

The purpose of the community partnership program "(PKM) Positive Communication as an effort of child protection from violence Through Community Parenting Activities at Cempaka Putih Kec. Ciputat Timur Tangsel "is to increase parenting knowledge to parents in self help change the skilled to follow up in case violence in upbringing, so that the occurrence of a change of paradigm of parents in parenting without violence. Activities (PKM) Positive Communication as an Effort of Child Protection From Violence through Parenting in Kec. Cempaka Putih Kec. Ciputat Timur Tangsel is done through the training process with participatory methods. The participatory methods used to invite participants to participate in the training by revealing his experiences, formulate concepts of parenting based on the experience of the learning process and during training, and formulate a program first aid for cases of violence against children in their environment. The participants consisted of 50 people comprising community leaders and residents around. Methods and training plan compiled by the team (PKM) Positive Communication as an effort of child protection from violence Through Community Parenting Activities at Cempaka Putih Kec. Ciputat. Third, consultations with staff of the Indonesian child protection Commissionto the contents of the material. Fourth, the implementation of training activities and plan follow-up activities. Fifth, the evaluation activities and make good devotion in the form of an article or module. The results of the parenting provided to improve the knowledge and understanding of parental Communication As Positive Efforts for child protection from violence Through Parenting Activities on communities of South Tangerang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe how to embed entrepreneurial values in early childhood in Kudus. This research was conducted by research method of survey on 36 early childhood educational institution in Kudus in academic year 2017/2018. Data collection techniques are conducted with questionnaire techniques, observations, and interviews. Entrepreneurship education in early childhood educational institution in Kudus aims to foster an entrepreneurial interest and instill social values, economic value, creativity, forming a patient person, appreciating hard-earned, appreciating their own work, disciplined, independent, and responsible. The activity of the planting of entrepreneurial values in early childhood in Kudus is carried out with diverse strategies, ranging from observation to the entrepreneurial places, playing the role of buying and selling, direct buying and selling practices, making something that can be for sale, livestock and farming.  Such activities require adequate time, place, and energy. Thus it needs to be planned maturely, so that the implementation of learning runs effectively.

Abstract

The reading interest in Indonesia still relatively low, so it is necessary to make it habitual. This habituation can be do early that children can like to reading books. On May 5 2018, Ditjen PAUD dan Dikmas, Direktorat Pembinaan Pendidikan Keluarga, and Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan organized Gerakan Nasional Orang Tua Membacakan Buku (Gernas Baku) for children. There are several methods that can be do for this movement, on of which is through the implementation of management participate. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of management parcipate in the application of Gernas Baku at RA Al-Azhar Bantur. This study use qualitative and type of case study research. The result of this study showed that in planning, parents took part in the ceremonies and socialization of Gernas Baku. In addition, parents also help in raising funds to buy children’s story books. In the implementation, parents participate in reading books for children, but monitoring and evaluation parents only give advice for school institution. The implementation of monitoring and evaluation is carried out by the institution and if there is particiption, it is discussed wit parents. This result indicate that parental involvement an important role in the implementation of Gernas Baku.

Abstract

Early childhood has a range of abilities that need to be developed, one of them is fine motor capability, which is organizing the use of small muscles such as fingers and hands that often require care and eye coordination by hand. In the development of fine motor ability of the child that appears in the number of children who reach the end, where the research subject consists of 20 children, 8 boys and 12 daughters. Cycle I is only 10 children (40%), cycle II to 18 children (90%) That are categorized quite well on the II cycle. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The data of this research includes qualitative data that the utilization of natural media made from Based on the results of the research, it is recommended to early childhood teachers to apply natural-made leaves in the development of child fine motor skills. Thereby improving the fine motor of early childhood through the use of the media in the surrounding leaves is very effective to be used in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak dengan menggunakan media barang bekas. Adapun media barang bekas yang di manfaatkan kembali ialah tutup  botol air mineral yang di susun menjadi berbagai bentuk kreativitas seni. . Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan menerapkan teori Miles dan Huberman dalam menganalisa data. Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan ialah kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Setelah di laksanakan penelitian, di temukan bahwa melalui pemanfaatan media barang bekas pembelajaran menjadi sangat menyenangkan, tidak membutuhkan waktu lama, serta bersifat inovatif dan kreatif dalam menciptakan hasil karya. Pemanfaatan media barang bekas sebagai media bahan ajar menekankan pada peran aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Sehingga pembelajaran tidak hanya berfokus pada guru tetapi mampu meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui kelenturan jari-jemari, serta penggunaan panca indra nya. Peneliti menyimpulkan kegiatan pembelajaran pada pemanfaatan media barang bekas ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak, serta mampu memunculkan kreativitas anak melalui kegiatan menempel tutup botol aqua menjadi susunan kelopak bunga.

Abstract

This experimental study aims to increase children?s comprehension of the concepts of number 1-10 by implementing the Course Review Horay Learning Model. The research subjects were group A children in PAUD Tunas Harapan Medan. The understanding of number concepts was evaluated from pretest and posttest with the indicator is to comprehend the concept of number. The scores were analyzed statistically by using the paired-sample t-test. The students in the experimental class were taught by using the Course Review Horay Learning Model, while the control was taught conventionally. The results of the study show the experimental class data group differs from the form control class with a significant value is 0.86 (p = 0.05). The results of the study concluded that the Course Review Horray Learning Model can significantly improve children's ability to understand the concept of number 1-10.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the character of early childhood by using cultural malay-based traditional games. The children's world is synonymous with the playing world so that learning is more easily absorbed by children through play. Traditional games are very important to be introduced so children can find out games that have been around for generations. Children are introduced to traditional games that elevate Malay culture. The Malay culture is a characteristic of the Lancang Kuning earth, so that it became the Riau Vision and Mission in building its territory in reference to Malay Culture. In addition, through Malay culture children are educated in character building. The character of children is shaped according to Malay culture which is full of morality and religion. Child character development is very important to be formed early because character is permanent and inherent in children to adulthood. This study belongs to the category of descriptive research which describes the data relating to the formulation of the problems examined in this study. Data collection used in this study was carried out by total sampling technique. This research uses a Likert scale, namely from the results of observations and interviews. Then, the data analysis technique used is descriptive technique.
