This research was conducted due to the low level of numeracy ability in children of group B in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 13 Padangsidimpuan. The formulation of the problem under study was how to improve children's numeracy skills through numeric media. The research conducted was classroom action research consisting of two observations, each of which consisted of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were children of group B in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 13 Padangsidimpuan by using observation sheets. The data analysis used was qualitative data analysis techniques that can be seen from children's numeracy skills and quantitative data were calculated by formula. The results obtained in children's numeracy skills have increased. Before the action was taken, the level of numeracy ability of children was still very low, after the first cycle of research was obtained 44% and in the second cycle increased to 88%. After conducting research starting from pre-cycle, cycle I, cycle II, it was concluded that the numeracy ability of group B children in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 13 Padangsidimpuan had increased.

The phenomenon needing to consider at this time is the lack of development of fine motor children in the daily activity. Simple things such as buttoning their clothes, combing their hair, wearing shoelaces, folding their clothes, in fact, are difficult to do for children in Taman Kanak-Kanak Raisyah Padangsidimpuan. Therefore, this study aimed to improve children's fine motor skills through folding paper origami. This type of research used classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles. The research was carried out in Taman Kanak-Kanak Raisyah Padangsidimpuan in group B with 15 children consisted of 9 boys and 6 girls. Based on the results found through observation techniques, interviews, tests, and documentation, it was concluded that folding paper origami can improve the fine motor skills of children in group B of Taman Kanak-Kanak Raisyah Padangsidimpuan. It could be seen from the achievement value in the first cycle stage only 33%. Whereas after the second cycle was done, the achievement of the value obtained reached 86%.

Mothers have multi-task that must be done every day. Household problem, work problem and also the economic problem experienced by many mothers in the District of Kepulauan Meranti became the causes of stress experienced by mothers that affect how she respond the environment, also affect the child rearing. The ability to deal with problems is called resilience. This study aims to examine the resilience of mothers who come from low income families in the District of Kepulauan Meranti. This study used descriptive quantitative method. Sampling method used is random sampling and there are 70 mothers as sample. It was found that the mother's resilience was 73,03%. Mothers in Kepulauan Meranti District is resilience eventough they have ti struggle with many stressfull condition. The support from spouse and relatives which offer the positive relationship help mothers to overcome stress and become resilience. Mother need to be resilient to deal with her multi-task, mainly in child rearing.

The fine motor skills of children in the group B2 of TK Islam Terpadu Darul Mukhlishin are still lack. It can be seen from the results of the letters written by the child that is not in accordance with the example given by the teacher. The study aims to an increase in children’s fine motor skills through writing activities on the sand in TK Islam Terpadu Darul Mukhlishin. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and tests. The research instrument used observation sheets, interview sheets and tests. Data analysis techniques used descriptive and inferential statistics using t-test. The results showed that fine motor skills achieved by children in group B2 before the action reached 30.25%. In the first cycle of action reached 61.125% while in the second cycle of action reached 91.5%. In testing hypotheses through t-test with a significant level of 5%, it show that the value of t-count ≥ t-table is 22.23 ≥ 2.093, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely writing on sand can improve children’s fine motor skills in group B2 of TK Islam Terpadu Darul Mukhlishin.

This study aims to improve 5-6-year-children’s language skills through scrambled wordplay in TK Methodist Binjai. This research was conducted because there were problems with the lack of children's language skills in recognizing letters and words. This research was a classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 15 children of B-1 TK Methodist Binjai consisting of 4 boys and 11 girls. The object in this study was the language ability to recognize letters through scrambled wordplay. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation by filling in the observation table of the observed activities. This research was conducted in 2 (two) cycles. The results showed that the activity of playing scrambled words can improve children's language skills in recognizing letters and words. The results of observation in the first cycle obtained 46% of children who developed according to expectations and in the second cycle increased to 67% of children who developed as expected followed by 33% of children who developed very well. This showed that the activity of playing scrambled words to improve children's language skills in recognizing letters and words have been successful.

This study aims to understand the knowledge of basic survival skill activities among 6 years old children. This study employs qualitative method with case study design in which interview, observation and document analysis are part of the data collection for this study. The samples of the study are 10 children of 6 years old participated in the outdoor survival activities and a teacher is interviewed to support the data of the study. The findings of the study report that there are differences in pre-post-test conducted and the outdoor survival activities are created and adapted in line with the ability and development of 6 years old children. This study implies that children have lack of knowledge about basic survival skills activities and need to be exposed among children. Thus, this study has provided valuable insights into basic survival activities among children in order to help them improve their knowledge skills

Early childhood educators are not only expected to be professional in teaching but also in developing educational toys (ET). As a prospective Early Childhood Education (ECE) teacher, students who are taking lectures in the ECE program should have an early opportunity to increase their potential in developing ET. However, the ability of students to develop ET is still limited, and the design does not cover the entire content of child development. This study aims to recognize to what extent students' ability of Early Childhood Islamic Education programs can improve in developing educational toys based on all aspects of child development through participating in a study group. This research is a qualitative approach with 25 participants of the study group Data collection is conducted by observation, documentation, and interviews. The results showed that; (1) the ability of students in developing ET has emphasized all aspects of child development, (2) APE study groups can improve students' abilities and motivation in developing ET. The effectiveness of ET, which has been become products, can be identified in further research

Questioning skills need to be mastered by the student-teacher of kindergarten. Questioning skills consist of asking advanced questions (high-level questioning skills) and basic questioning questions. High-level thinking is a way of thinking based on facts and concepts to direct the mindset of children, giving value, finding, and interpreting solutions to problems. The purpose of this research is to describe the basic questioning skills (LOTIs) and advanced questioning skills (HOTs) of the student-teacher of kindergarten in micro-teaching courses. This type of research is qualitative descriptive using case studies. The research subjects consisted of 4 students who took the micro-teaching course in the Department of Early Childhood Education, STKIP Adzkia Padang. The object of the study consisted of further questioning skills used by kindergarten students when teaching practice in lectures for 3 months consisted of 1) cognitive level questions, 2) ordering order arrangement, 3) using of tracking questions, 4) increasing interaction. Data collection techniques were carried out with the study of documentation and direct recordings of data analysis techniques with simple percentages and were converted according to the scale of interpretation so that the research conclusions were obtained. The application of students' questioning skills during teaching practice was dominated by LOTs questions, which were limited to questions of knowledge level just to remember.

This study aims to describe the understanding and process of implementing literacy in early childhood. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were used through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in Lhokseumawe. Ten teachers were selected using purposive sampling technique from five kindergartens; Pertiwi Kindergarten, Bunayya, Safiatuddin and Ukhtani. The results showed that: (1) the understanding of ECE teachers in Lhokseumawe interpreted the concept of literacy as a basic skill that children must have in reading, writing, and speaking. Introduction of literacy for early childhood as initial preparation to master reading, writing and speaking skills so that early childhood becomes more prepared to face education at the next level, Elementary School or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, (2) The process of implementing literacy in ECE institutions is generally carried out in various forms of play activities and children's daily habit and using various forms of methods and media or educational toys.

The involvement of fathers in the care of active participation of fathers in parenting that occurs continuously makes a positive impact on a child is one of them is adaptability. Adaptability is a person's ability to adapt well to itself or the environment, such as family, friends, other people, and the prevailing norms surrounding the environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the involvement of fathers is there a relationship in the care of the adaptability of children aged 4-6 years in kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Pekanbaru. This type of research is research with a quantitative approach to the design of correlational research, for the study population was the father and learners TK Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Pekanbaru. Sample collection technique using a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 40 children. The method used in this study is the use of grains statement attached to the questionnaire. Based on the calculation of correlation test obtained by r-value = 0.737, with significant value 0.000, then suggest a link between fathers' involvement in the care of the adaptability of children aged 4-6 years. In conclusion, the positive relationship between fathers' involvement in the upbringing of the adaptability of children aged 4-6 years in kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Pekanbaru
