Abstract

Andropause prevalence can be estimated based on population projections. Andropause is a syndrome of decreasing in physical ability, sexual, and psychological. Some studies have shown that smoking can cause disruption of sexual function which is a symptom of andropause. The period of andropause in men's lives has a psychological impact that needs to be understood. To determine the correlation of anxiety and smoking with the incidence of men andropause in Wonoboyo. Type of the research was an analytic observation research with cross sectional approach. The place was in Wonoboyo on May 2018. The population was 96 men in Wonoboyo, 67 respondents were using simple random sampling. Correlation analysis used bivariate Spearman's rho and supported by cross tabulation. The value of anxiety correlation with andropause was 0,584 and the significance was 0,000. The correlation value of smoking with the incidence of andropause was 0,199 and the significance was 0,106. There was an anxiety correlation with the incidence of andropause. There was no correlation of smoking with the incidence of andropause.

Abstract

Physiological changes in the body occur during pregnancy, sometimes followed by changes in attitude, state of the soul and behavior. To find out a person's healthy condition, it is necessary to measure the quality of life and stress. This study is to determine the relationship between quality of life related to oral health (OHRQoL) and stress with fetal development in second trimester of pregnant women. This research usedcross sectional approach; populations were pregnant women in second trimester who examined the womb at BPM Endang Purwaningsih Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta there were 56 people in November 2018, using total sampling. The research instrument was the OHIP-14, SRQ-20, and fetal development guidelines. Processing data in this study was using IBM SPSS 20 and Microsoft Excel. The statistical test which is used chi square test. There were 3 respondents with life quality that related to oral health (OHRQoL) in middle category and 53 respondents (94.64%) in the good category quality of life related to oral health (OHRQoL). 41 respondents (73.21%) who were not experiencing stress. There was one respondent with inappropriate fetal development. Chi square test showed that there was no correlation between quality of life related to oral health (0,810 0,05) and stress (0,095 0,05) with fetal development in second trimester of pregnant women in the BPM Endang Purwaningsih Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta. Quality of life related to oral health (OHRQoL) and stress does not affect fetal development in second trimester pregnant women at BPM Endang Purwaningsih Bantul Pleret Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Violent behavior cause of mental disorder can occur to yourself or others, with more prevalence experienced by men than women. Assertive training can be believed that decrease of violent behavior risk. The study aims to determine the effect of assertiveness in shortening the length of treatment and reducing the risk of violent behavior symptoms in maintenance room at RSUD Banyumas. The method used was Quasi experiment pre-post test with control group with assertive training treatment. The research sample was 34 patients with risk of violent behavior, 17 respondents from the intervention group and 17 respondents from the control group by consecutive sampling. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire data of respondent demography, observation of behavior response, observation of social respond, questionnaire of cognitive respond, and observation of physic respond in the form of likert scale. Differences in risk of violent behavior are analyzed by t test. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the effect of assertive training in shortening the length of treatment (p value 0,05), but there was a decrease in behavioral response by 6,06 in the intervention group while 2,64 in the control group, a decrease in social response by 5,35 in the intervention group while 2,24 in the control group, cognitive response was 5,59 in the intervention group while 2,71 in the control group, and the decrease in physical response in the intervention group was 3,65 while 2,47 in the control group was significantly (p value 0,05) after assertiveness training. There is no effect of assertive training in shortening the length of treatment, but assertive training has proven to be effective in reducing the risk symptoms of violent behavior.

Abstract

Based on the Food Balance Sheet for Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) in the period of 2006-2015, the condition of food availability was sufficient, but there were still some villages that suffered food insecurity and malnutrition. This study aims to determine the factors that influence adequacy the energy of household food consumption in rural DIY. The population of this study was 1,160 households from secondary data from the 2015 Susenas in DIY. The research sample were 571 households, taken by purposive sampling with criteria in one household there was a husband and wife. Data was taken by questionnaire. The design of this study was cross sectional. Data was analyzed by applying Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The average adequacy of household energy attained about 90,85%. There was a significantly positive influence of maternal age, income, raskin recipient households, employment on household energy sufficiency and otherwise the household members and poor category household on household energy sufficiency.

Abstract

Caring for nurses in the form of nursing services applied in providing nursing care. Which one of them on psychological aspects including anxiety. The objective of this study is to know the relation caring nurse’s with anxiety level in preoperating patients in inpatient room Hospital Regional Public Wonosari Yogyakarta. This study used an observational analytic design using cross-sectional. Sampling used accidental sampling, with 83 respondents. Data analysis using Spearman Rank test with significance level p = 0,05 or α = 5%. Anxiety instruments using Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). The result of this studi showed that a total of 61,5% of nurse, nurses with good category, 34,9% nurse, nurses with enough category, and 3,6% caring nurses with less category. 57,8% of the anxiety category was light, 32,5% was in medium category, and 9.6% were in the weight category. As for the correlation results, it was obtained p value 0,0021 (p 0,05), The strength of the relationship was 0,021-0,253. Conclusion of this study was there was a relation caring nurse’s with anxiety level in preoperating patients in inpatient room Hospital Regional Public Wonosari Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Physical, psychological, and social changes are the changes that occur due to the various complications that accompany the disease DM type 2. Psychological changes that occur, such as stress, and depression. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors related to anxiety and depression in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This type of research was descriptive with cross sectional design. Sampling technique used total sampling with 60 people. The instrument used DASS 42 and BDI questioner. Data were analyzed by chi square. Chi square test results obtained factors related to anxiety in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus are age (p value = 0,000), long suffering from type 2 DM (p value = 0,000), education (p value = 0,040), comorbidities (p value = 0,000) and family support (p value = 0,000). While factors which were not related to anxiety in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were impaired functional ability (p value = 0,517). Factors that related to depression in patients with type 2 DM were age (p value=0.007), education (p value = 0,001), comorbidities (p value = 0,000) and family support (p value = 0,040). While factors unrelated to anxiety of patients with type 2 DM are long period of type 2 DM (p value = 0,797) and functional ability disorder (p value = 0,435). Conclusion of the factors related to anxiety of patient with type 2 DM are age, long period of type 2 DM, education, comorbidities and family support, while factors that unrelated to anxiety of patients with type 2 DM are functional ability disorder, factors that related to depression of patients with type 2 DM are age, education, comorbidities, and family support, while factors that unrelated to depression of patients with type 2 DM are long period of type 2 DM and functional ability disorder.

Abstract

The brain in a baby grows 3 times the state at birth or 80% of an adult brain in its first year. This condition only happens once in a life time. So that for maximum growth and development, babies need adequate sleep. Sleep disorders in children can have an impact, both on aspects of physical growth, as well as cognitive, emotional, social and child behavior. This study is aimed to determine the relationship between sleep quality and the development of infants aged 3-10 months in the village of Tamanan Banguntapan II Primary Health Center. Abstract

Chronic Kidney Failure (CRF) is a condition of chronic kidney function decline that is progressive and irreversible. One of the effective actions in handling this condition is hemodialysis. CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy mostly experience anxiety and decreased quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship of anxiety with quality of life in CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis at Rasyida Kidney Hospital Medan. The research method used correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The study population was all patients undergoing hemodialysis with a sampling technique that was purposive sampling with a total sample of 76 people. The research instrument used the Zung Self Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) and WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. The results of the study were analyzed using the Spearmen Rank test. The results of this study indicated the anxiety of the majority of respondents with a moderate category of 49 respondents (64.5%) and the quality of life of patients undergoing majority hemodialysis with a bad category of 42 respondents (55.3%). Abstract

Cases of bullying in schools have become a widespread phenomenon and have a negative impact on the school atmosphere. A good and fearless learning environment needs attention. Educational institutions have the task of creating and guaranteeing a conducive and safe learning atmosphere so that students feel happy and comfortable while at school. This can be supported by teachers who have good knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy towards bullying cases. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of anti-bullying education on teacher's knowledge, attitudes, and self-efficacy. The method used in this study uses a pre-experimental quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all teachers of SMP 11 Yogyakarta, the sampling technique used total sampling, so the sample was 23 teachers. Test data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. Knowledge prior to the intervention of the average respondent was given in the good category, good enough attitude and self-efficacy in the poor category. Knowledge after being given an intervention is mostly in the good category, good attitude and good self-efficacy. Wilcoxon test results on each variable of knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy obtained p value 0,002, which means that anti-bullying education affects the knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy of teachers. It can be concluded that anti-bullying education is effective in increasing teacher’s knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy in SMP 11 Yogyakarta

Abstract

Sports is the most important part of activities in children and can improve physical fitness for the children. Respondents in this study are children who participate in sports programs in a sports club, especially swimming and running from the Special Region of Yogyakarta in February-March 2020. This study aims to determine the relationship between Sport effectiveness activities with quality of life and cardiovascular function in children. The method used was quantitative with cross-sectional correlation description design. Data collection techniques namely by distributing questionnaires specifically quality of life and measuring cardiovascular function using the Vo2Max beep test. Data were collected using a purposive method, with a total number of respondents who followed were 76 children aged 5-14 years. The number of male children were 35 children (46.1%) and women were 41 children (53.9%). The results of this study indicated that there was a relationship between the intervention "sport effectiveness" with quality of life in children (p-value = 0.009), with cardiovascular function (p-value = 0.036). it was concluded that the more sports activities (sport effectiveness) can improve the quality of life of children which consists of emotional, social, physical and school functions and improve cardiovascular function
