JE (Journal of Empowerment) was formed based on the results of Suryakancana University Leaders Meeting on January 28, 2017, and was approved on April 8, 2017 in accordance with the Rector Decree Number 11 / SK / REK / UG / IV / 2017 regarding Appointment of Journal Manager of Community Service at Suryakancana University. The name of the Journal of Community Service is JE (Journal of Empowerment). JE (Journal of Empowerment), is a mean of developing science and technology in the exact and non-exact field through the publication of writing based on the results of community service (original). JE (Journal of Empowerment), is a periodic scientific journal published by Institute of Research and Community Service of Suryakancana University (LPPM UNSUR) twice a year in June and December. JE (Journal of Empowerment), has registered number ISSN 2580-0620 (print), and ISSN 2597-9809 (online). The first edition is Volume 1, Number. 1, June 2017. JE (Journal of Empowerment), has the vision to become Scientific journal with National and International standard in disseminating and developing the results of conceptual.

Abstract

Trafficking is a violation of human dignity that is contrary to human rights and legislation. One of the victims of the crime of trafficking in the district of Cianjur is an underage child. An Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Protection (P2TP2A) of Cianjur district in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of Suryakancana University conducting an even in preventing the human trafficking crime. One of the efforts to overcome the trafficking is by socializing the law No. 21 of 2007 on the Eradication of Trafficking for the counseling teacher and student in order to get a better understanding of the meaning, way, form, effects, prevention and sanction the crime of trafficking.

Abstract

Employers who hire at least 10 (ten) employees shall make a company regulation. A company regulation is a written rule made by the employer which contains the terms of employment and the rules of the company. In the rule-making companies need continually to do under the technical guidance in order to gain the company rules that provide a protection for workers. Rule-making company is the employers’ responsibility, which is in the drafting process should heed the advice and judgment of representatives of workers or from labor unions.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the extension activities of political education for voters in order to improve public understanding of voters, in this case represented by the Students of Senior High School in the district of Tanjung Priok. The method used is a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques in this study using a descriptive model. The conclusion of this article is all parties must be able to support the efforts of the election organizers in terms of improving the quality of electoral processes; Increase voter participation; Improving public confidence in the democratic process; Generating volunteerism and civil society in the elections and democratization agenda.

Abstract

Starter is a game made by boys, especially in children at the elementary level. This game often effects on victim. The victims and perpetrators are not aware of the occurrences impact of this game, that are, the infection of the testicles, testicular organ damage, and even infertility. Game starter can be categorized as a form of sexual violence, because it is directly related to the primary reproductive organs. One of the preventive efforts undertaken is to teach personal safety skills to children. This method is popularized by Bagley and King in 2004. Personal Safety Skills is a skill that must be understood by children, so that they can avoid violent offenders sexual and situations that allow sexual violence.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to describe the economic potential of the village to an independent village, and to determine the factors that support and inhibit encountered in developing of the economic potential ofSukamanah Village. The qualitative method was used in this study an interactive model was used as data analysis techniques. The results show that there are six sectors of the economic potential of rural village in Sukamanah; agriculture, fishery, trading, farming and forestry, animal husbandry and creative economy. Meanwhile, the main supporting factors are the infrastructure condition and the establishment of farmer groups (gapoktan). The inhibiting factors are: the vast majority of farmers in the village of Sukamanah who are not as the land owner, but as a laborer; there is almost no regeneration of farmers; the number of farm workers decreased each year; the distribution of crops farmers cannot be directly sold into the market but it must pass through a broker; and the reduction of productive land in the village of Sukamanah.

Abstract

The increasing of women capacity to survive is something that must always be fought. Lengansari village of Sukaraja District of Sukabumi is the representative of the struggling people who are always be the farm laborers on their own dwelling place. This phenomenon triggered the idea of the community service activities which is be an annual program of STKIP PGRI Sukabumi. Group III that is located in Lengansari village initiated to establish a cooperative as a form of education to increase the public standard of living of rural communities. In order to gain the villagers’ expectation, the training was done conductively and systematically by a team under the lecturer guidance. This project was successfully gained because of the hard work of the students of group III totaling 25 students who were directed by the lecturer and in collaboration both with the related apparatus in the region and the department of cooperatives.
