Abstract

This study aimed to describe the social capital of the community in developing educational facilities in SD Negeri 005 State Petapahan Jaya, Kampar District. With the reality of a heterogeneous population inhabited by self-employed trans-migrants consisting of Sundanese, Batak, Minang, Malay, and Javanese. Economically the village had developed significantly, especially since the opening of the Palm Oil plantation. This research used a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews and document use. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that there were three elements of community social capital in developing educational facilities in SD Negeri 005 Petapahan Jaya, Kampar Regency: (1) Social Networking, in the form of community participation and solidarity (2) Trust in the form of honesty and cooperation (3) The existence of norms that jointly owned.

Abstract

This action research aimed to determine the effect of Scientific Approach with Gasing Method in Physics Learning of class XII Mipa 3 SMAN 3 Solok Selatan. The type of research that has been used is classroom action research with two cycles. The data of physics learning outcomes were collected by learning achievement test and students learning activities were collected by observation sheet. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results indicated that (1) the average score of learning outcomes was increased from 73,75 (cycle 1) becomes 80,31 (cycle 2); (2) the average score of studentsā€˜learning activities was increased from 66,25 (cycle 1) to 86,25 (cycle 2)

Abstract

This study aims to describe self-concept, lifestyle, and examine the relationship of self-concept to the lifestyle of BIDIKMISI scholarship recipients.This research is descriptive and correlational research.The study population was students receiving BIDIKMISI scholarships majoring in UNP's BK FIP 2016-2019. The number of samples was 90 students who were obtained by using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The data obtained were analyzed using the percentage technique and Pearson product moment correlation with the SPSS program version 23.00.The results showed that in general the self-concept of BIDIKMISI scholarship recipients in the category was not positive and the lifestyle of scholarship recipients in the medium category, and there is a significant negative relationship between self-concept and the lifestyle of BIDIKMISI scholarship recipients.

Abstract

One of the factors that causes divorce among Indonesians is the physical and psychological unpreparedness of the bride and groom. The purpose of this study was to validate the Psychological Readiness instrument for psychological conditions that affect the prospective bride and groom to carry out a marriage developed using the theory of Fowers & Olson (1989). Validation of this instrument needs to be done because there is no instrument that can truly represent the psychological conditions of the bride and groom, although there are still separate variables. So the importance of developing valid and reliable instruments. The research sample consisted of 40 prospective brides who attended marriage guidance in the city of Padang, then analyzed using Rasch. The results showed that the psychological readiness instrument was valid and reliable with the person reliability 0.84 and the item reliability 0.89.

Abstract

The success of teaching and learning activities can be known from the results of teacher performance in preparing character-based lesson plans and implementing them in the teaching and learning process in class. This school action research aims to see whether there is an increase in the ability of teachers in developing character-based lesson plans and their implementation in teaching and learning process. This research uses 2 cycles. The research procedure has four stages of activities are, planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflecting. The study was conducted at SDN 07 Situjuah Gadang. The subject of the research is the class teacher and subject teacher, which totals 7 teachers. Data processing using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.Based on the results of data analysis that has been stated, that the data obtained from observing the ability of teachers to prepare character-based lesson plans in cycle I and cycle II there is an increase in the ability of teachers in preparing character-based lesson plans.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the desire to improve the learning process that has been done with the aim of improving student learning outcomes by applying a Mind Map-based learning model to science subjects. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using a qualitative approach conducted on students of class III at SD Negeri 07 Situjuh Gadang, Lima Puluh Kota. The problem being solved stems from the problem of practical learning in class in a professional manner. The procedure of conducting this research consists of two cycles that follow the basic principles of general classroom action research. The instrument of this research is the TK / SD supervisor as the observer and the writer himself as the planner and executor of learning in the classroom. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using qualitative data analysis which was analyzed starting from data collection to all data collected. From the results of data processing it was found that the application of Mind Map-based learning to third grade students at SD Negeri 07 Situjuah Gadang on natural science subjects could improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low communication skills of teachers in the learning process at SDN 06 Situjuah Gadang, Lima Puluh Kota. This study aims to improve teacher communication skills in the learning process through FGD activities. This type of research is action research using a qualitative approach. This research data in the form of information about the process and data on the results of actions obtained from observations, the results of teacher skills assessment, discussion and documentation. The data source is the process of implementing Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. The results show that there is an increase in research results from Cycle I to Cycle II, this proves that guidance through FGD activity can improve the teacher's communication skills.

Abstract

Cases of violence in Indonesia, especially against women in the household, have increased so that it is considered quite alarming. Domestic violence perpetrated by the perpetrator, in this case the husband, is motivated by power relations in the household. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the power relations of domestic violence (KDRT).The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with the research subject, namely a criminal case of domestic violence. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and document analysis. The data analysis technique is carried out through three activities, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The result of the research shows that there is a real power relation of violence in household; (1) gender perception bias, based on the results found that there is an understanding that is still gender biased in the perceptions of domestic violence perpetrators, (2) aggressive personality is higher in men. This is related to the social roles inherent in men and women. So that with a reasonable view that aggressive is higher in men, causing the perpetrator to feel for verbal and physical aggression. The perpetrator who has an aggressive personality causes him to become irritable by participating in verbal and physical aggression. (3) The perpetrator who has an antisocial personality is related to the tendency to carry out criminal activities such as domestic violence without being followed by feelings related to the act of action. The results of the research are expected to help community institutions to pay more attention to the conditions of domestic violence perpetrators and especially counselors to be able to provide interventions in the form of counseling programs to perpetrators as preventive and handling measures in order to break the chain of domestic violence. It is also hoped that the counselor can educate the perpetrators to change their mindset and behavior and help them in the future to be able to integrate with society.
