Abstract

Various forms of travel nowadays continue to grow, one of which is religious tourism. Religious tourism is one of the phenomenon that is currently starting to populate, it proved many activities or activities associated with religious tourism such as Tirta Yatra conducted by Hindu community in Bali. In some community groups, religious tourism is often used as a monthly, annual, and routine activities. In addition to getting the calm and pleasure (refreshing), it will also gain insight into the sacred historical sites and increase awareness of gratitude for the omnipotence of God (Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa). Therefore, not only the health of mind that is obtained through religious tourism, but also  the reward by interpreting the tour as a worship to improve or strengthen the faith.

Abstract

Culture inspired by the teachings of Hindu Religion is a big icon of pariwista in Bali. Can not be denied, that Bali is carrying on progress currently owned is due to the tourism system. With the rapid development of tourism, great effects also arise, both in the realm of economic culture or spiritual economics. This is what needs to be a common concern about how Bali looks ahead to tourism. In order for a culture system that is imbued by Hindu religious elements to show religious values that have not been inspired to the world, that Balinese culture can inspire the world.Keywords: Hinduism, Culture, and Tourism

Abstract

Spiritual tourism is a new phenomena in tourism industry. New age is one of the groups which raises an idea of spiritual journey, because they promoted a spirituality without border. The idea open the opportunities for the spirituality from different etnic for becoming a spiritual destination. Bali is one of destination spiritual tourism, but the Bali government havenot serious yet to take over its all. Therefore, it needed efforts to organize Bali as the spiritual destination.

Abstract

Desa adat Bali mempunyai peranan yang strategis dalam pengembangan pariwisata budaya. semua orang memaklumi bahwa daya tarik Bali terhadap wisatawan, tidaklah semata karena keindahan alamnya, lebih dari pada itu adalah budayanya yang dijiwai oleh agama Hindu. Dengan memantapkan peranan, fungsi,dan wewenang Desa adat, maka sesungguhnya semua aspek budaya yang didukung oleh masyarakat Bali akan menjadi daya tarik kepariwisataan yang bila dipelihara dan dikembangkan dengan baik akan menjamin kalangsungan kehidupan pariwisata. Dalam Desa adat berkembang seni budaya, kehidupan masyarakat yang sejahtera, pengamalan ajaran agama dalam prilaku dan aktivitas ritual agama yang senantiasa akan menarik wisatawan sepanjang masa. Di samping itu Desa adat berperanan pula dalam pengembangan kawasan wisata, mengawasi penyalah gunaan simbol-simbol keagamaan dan juga berperanan dalam mencegah pendatang liar yang masuk ke Bali, utamanya di wilayah palemahan Desa adat di Bali.

Abstract

Advancement in technology, information, transportation, and communication today is often mentioned by sociologists as a large village of the world village, consequently a region becomes very diverse or heterogeneous, and multicultural, thus encouraging the interaction, cooperation, accommodation, and acculturation between individuals or various groups of the pluralistic society. Differences in cultural, ethnic, economic, racial and religious backgrounds can lead to tensions or even conflict. On the other hand, the constructivist makes these differences as a positive thing. Nowadays, pluralism that occurred in Indonesia, which as a multicultural country still occurs and sustains the realization of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on the state ideology, namely Pancasila. In addition to creating a harmonious state among religious people, or between religious communities and the government, on the one hand it brings a positive impact to the image of the country as a consideration of tourists to visit Indonesia as a tourist destination with consideration of safety and comfort. That is what is trying to show in Puja Mandala as a religious tourism destination in one of the provinces of Indonesia, that is in Bali Province. The existence of a multicultural politics of the government that tried to be dissected through the theory of ideology Louis Althusser and pluralism that occurred there dissected through the theory of Consensus Emile Durkheim. So it is known that through the hegemony of the government with the imaginary ideology of the Minister of Tourism Post and Telecommunications at that time Joop Ave as a political form for the development of Indonesia as a whole, until the realization of the imaginary ideology in the real existence in the field until the realization of Puja Mandala development in Nusa Dua Bali as religious tourism destinations, to realize the development of Indonesia as a whole, to facilitate tourism in the area of ITDC in particular and the surrounding community as a place of worship, as well as become one of its own attraction for tourists considering the building is designed with magnificent and illustrates the harmony and trilogy of religious harmony in Puja Mandala precisely in Bali as part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Keyword: Pluralism, Puja Mandala, Ideology, Consensus.

Abstract

Ubud is one of the destinations of a worldwide tourist destination, Ubud which originally was an agrarian traditional village turned into a tourism village, even the village of Ubud has been transformed into a world tourism destination is evidenced by the many awards obtained in the field of tourism. Ubud tourism practitioners have been able to meet the standard of facilities that become the standard needs of tourists themselves, both nationally and internationally, such as the availability of accommodation, restaurant, telecommunications, transportation, entertainment, museums, art gallery and other supporting objects close to Ubud such as Bedahulu, Pejeng, Tampaksiring etc. Ubud tourism is not the same as other tourist destinations in Bali such as Nusa Dua, Sanur, Kuta and others, because Ubud people have different characteristics and lifestyles, the management of Ubud tourism through the concept of Tri Hita Karana combined with Hindu Theology so that existence Ubud tourism can be maintained. In Veda (Manava Dharma Sastra) states that how to serve Tourists such as serving the God (Atithi Deva Bhavo) so that guests will feel at home to visit and settle in Ubud.

Abstract

Spiritual tourism is a phenomenon in a tourism by religious and spiritual purposes. Spiritual journey has become an ancient form of travelling, but new developments develop by wide segmentation. Hindu Pasraman such as Munivara and Ratu Bagus ashram have become a spiritual tourism destination. Therefore, its potentials need to be explored for the development of a larger Hindu pasraman. This study explores the potential of Hindu pasraman by comparing it with the motivation of foreign tourists. The potential that its developing seemly with the motivation of foreign tourists to be a potential that can be developed. This research uses data collection by used literature studies, observations and interviews. The data analysis uses qualitative data analysis. The result of this research is the potential of pasraman Hindu as a place of learning, relaxation, and health is potential that can be developed to become a spiritual tourism destination. Continued research is expected to measure the most dominant potential. Through this research can be suggested to improve facilities, access, and cooperation of Hindu pasraman organization.

Abstract

Yoga is a search for tourists in Bali tourism which is spread in some destinations in Bali such as in Ubud, Seminyak and Sanur. This search for yoga is a form of health search that is different from the purpose of yoga to achieve moksha (eternal happiness). This gap raises research questions about the form of yoga secularization in Bali tourism. This article reviews the form of yoga secularization in Balinese tourism according to the theory of historical materialism which states that the basic principle of change is matter. This article is based on qualitative research carried out in series in 2016 and 2017. The result is that the form of yoga secularization in Balinese tourism occurs through changes in orientation to health, changes in yoga techniques to healing techniques, exchange with money, and the use of science-technology. Changes are forms of secularization in yoga.

Abstract

Bali tourism dynamics are reflected by the use of the village temple as a tourist attraction. This paper discusses the Impact of Development of Tourism activity in Pura Desa Batuan to the socio-economic life of the local community, and cultural tourism object “pura desa batuan” as media of multicultural education. This paper is the result of qualitative research. The process of data collection is done by observation, literature study and in-depth interviews with 10 informants manager Pura Desa Batuan and tourists who visit the attraction Pura Desa Batuan. Data analysis was performed by descriptive, qualitative and interpretative by applying the theory of commodification of tourism development. The results showed that Pura Desa Batuan has become a tourist attraction in Bali that selected by travelers, the travel commodity to benefit local communities. The presence of tourists has raised entrepreneurship and supporting development manners Batuan Village People. In addition, a cultural attraction Pura Desa Batuan is also as a medium of multicultural education. Tourist activity in Pura Desa Batuan village that is capable of generating economic activity and strengthen the cultural traditions of local communities and raise awareness of this multicultural needs to be maintained and developed.

Abstract

Human beings have three debts according to the teachings of Hinduism called tri rna and these debt must be paid in his lifetime. Man in debt of God is paid with Dewa Yajña. Humans owe to parents; ancestors are paid with Pitra Yajña. Human in debt with teachers or rsi yajna can be paid by Rsi Yajña. Humans who have debts will try to immediately pay them. Similarly, the debt owned by a person or a family either to his ancestors or to God will always be paid in accordance with their ability through yajña (a sincere sacrifice). Yajna ceremony in the form of masegeh ceremony has an impact on strengthening the aspects of the economy and aspects of tourism development in the Village Pakraman Tambakan.
