Abstract

Education is an important asset for the advancement of a nation, therefore, every citizen should and must follow the level of education, good early childhood education, primary education, secondary education or higher. In the field of education, a child from birth requires proper care in meeting the educational needs along with an understanding of the characteristics of early childhood education becomes very important and a major concern. Because of the importance of education, the parents will be held responsible how they educate their children. This will also apply for tutors, teachers or caregivers. Therefore, give the best education for our children in accordance with the development level of children, in order to be child respect for parents and teacher at the school There are four main considerations importance of early childhood education, namely: (1) prepare manpower quality (2) encourage the acceleration of the economic cycle and the low social costs (3) to improve equity in public life (4) to help parents and children.

Abstract

According to Hinduism, humans achieve happiness through several methods, one of them is to maintain the harmony with environment. Humans and the environment are two subjects who demand each other. Human life depends on the state of plants and the preservation of plants by humans. However, the fact is, decaying of environment is getting worse and, ironically, humans are the main actors of the damage. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a generation with environment literacy to maintain environment stability. The formation of environment literacy spirit should start from early childhood. The role of the family to form children with environment literacy is enormous. In order to build spirit of environment literacy optimally, it is necessary to have a conception of environmental design on family: Eco-family. Eco-family is a family concept that has an environment caring attitude which is manifested in daily actions. Planting the value of environment literacy on early childhood through the concept of Eco-family takes precedence on the dimensions of attitude.Keywords: literacy, environment, children, eco-family

Abstract

Usia dini merupakan usia emas bagi anak untuk belajar bahasa, tanpa mengabaikan perkembangan aspek-aspek lainnya yang sangat penting dalam kehidupannya. Kemampuan berbahasa dan berkomunikasi merupakan kebutuhan dan merupakan hal esensial untuk awal proses di sekolah. Keterampilan mendengarkan adalah keterampilan pertama dan paling dasar yang dikembangkan oleh pembelajar bahasa, baik dalam belajar bahasa pertama, bahasa kedua maupun bahasa asing. Metode TPR dapat memotivasi anak untuk tertarik belajar bahasa Inggris terutama melatih kemampuan mendengar (listening) karena metode ini sangat menghibur mereka dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran di kelas dan membantu pemahaman anak usia dini terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris secara efektif. Beberapa teknik atau aktivitas yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan anak usia dini dalam mendengarkan bahasa Inggris yaitu imperative drill, action songs dan using flash cards.Kata kunci : Total Physical Response, Kemampuan Mendengarkan, Pendidilan Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Parents always want their children to grow into smart children, for that parents make various efforts to realize the desire, such as adding hours to learn children, also choose the best school according to parents. In fact, not all of these efforts have achieved maximum results, there are still children who experience slow learning, lack of fighting power, no discipline to run their daily activities, and so forth. It is important to obtain a child’s readiness profile, one of which is by screening methods. In this research we will describe a screening method that takes one of the asanas yoga movements namely the namaskar solar movement. This movement involves aspects of basic observations in children, including balance, knee strength, and neck as an indicator of the form of motion control, emotion and communication of children.Keywords: Yoga Asanas, Surya Namaskar, Screening, Early Childhood EducationAbstrakOrang tua senantiasa ingin agar anaknya tumbuh menjadi anak yang cerdas, untuk itu orangtua melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mewujudkan keinginan tersebut, seperti menambah jam belajar anak, juga memilihkan sekolah yang terbaik menurut orang tua. Faktanya tidak semua usaha tersebut memperoleh hasil yang maksimal, masih terdapat anak yang mengalami lambat belajar, kurang memiliki daya juang, tidak disiplin menjalankan aktivitas harian mereka, dan sebagainya. Penting sekali memperoleh profil kesiapan belajar anak, salah satunya dengan melakukan metode penapisan. Pada penelitian ini akan diuraikan sebuah metode penapisan yang mengambil salah satu gerakan yoga asanas yakni gerakan surya namaskar. Gerakan ini melibatkan aspek-aspek observasi mendasar pada anak, meliputi keseimbangan, kekuatan lutut, serta leher sebagai indicator bentuk kendali gerak, emosi dan komunikasi anak. Abstract

Childhood is a very important and valuable phase and is the period of formation in the period of human formation. Early childhood is often viewed as a golden age for education providers. The golden age of the child is a very fundamental phase for the development of the individual because in this phase there are great opportunities for the formation and development of a person. So great the role of parents in the formation of character and child development, it is natural if parents need to apply a balanced parenting (authoritative) in children, not authoritarian parenting or permissive.

Abstract

Hindus believe that life is overwhelmed and overcome by mantras. All beings are governed by a mantra, whether a farmer or a king. The mantra is composed using certain characters and arranged in such a way as to form a sound form, while the letters are the symbol of the sound. The mantra is described as a very subtle form or a subtle body of something, eternal and is an indestructible formula and is the origin of all non-eternal forms. Mantra can be sattvam, rajas, and tamas according to human character. Mantra can be given to young children to form the foundation of their lives. Teaching by using mantras in early childhood can be done by getting used to recite mantras when beginning and ending lessons, greetings when meeting with older people and others. The mantra taught is short and in the form of sattvam spells, which participate in building the children’s mental and character.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan ini artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana stimulasi membaca permulaan untuk anak usia dini. Membaca permulaan merupakan salah satu aspek pengembangan bahasa yang penting bagi anak usia dini. Tidak dipungkiri banyak terjadi perdebatan tentang apakah anak usia dini boleh diajarkan membaca. Permasalahan sebenarnya bukan terletak pada boleh atau tidaknya diberikan, tapi lebih kepada kesiapan anak dan bagaimana cara memberikannya. Membaca permulaan yang merupakan sebuah pengenalan yang diberikan kepada anak usia dini, khususnya yang telah memiliki kesiapan membaca bertujuan untuk memberikan dasar-dasar mekanisme membaca, seperti kemampuan mengasosiasikan huruf dengan bunyi-bunyi bahasa yang diwakilinya, melatih gerakan bola mata, dan kesiapan visual serta auditori anak. Sesuai dengan dunia anak yaitu bermain, maka kegiatan membaca permulaan pun seharusnya diberikan melalui bermain. Bermain memberikan anak rasa senang, kebebasan, dan kepuasan. Permainan yang menarik dan melibatkan huruf ataupun kata-kata akan merangsang anak untuk memiliki kemampuan membaca permulaan. Abstract

The thing which very important in the world is education. It is a very important aspect given from childhood to adulthood. In short, education is required by various groups and continue to the long period of time. These days many people are given the information related to character education. Because of character education is important to be applied. Many things that can be used as an intermediary in delivering aspects of character education. One of them is a traditional Balinese song. Balinese traditional songs have been selected as a medium of communication in the delivery of character education because in traditional songs contained lyrics which are full of meaning and moral values. Traditional songs in Bali have existed since immemorial time and without the author’s name, so people who make the lyrics to this song can be our ancestors by inserting moral values and education that we can enjoy today. One of the famous traditional songs in Bali is CeningAyu. In the lyrics of CeningAyu, there are some moral values and education including the value of responsibility, child compliance, and obedience to the commands of parents.

Abstract

Orangtua yang bijaksana akan memberi pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Kelak setelah dewasa, anak akan menjadi seseorang yang sangat dipengaruhi pola asuh yang diberlakukan oleh orangtuanya. Namun sayangnya masih banyak orang tua yang melakukan kesalahan dalam mendidik anaknya sehingga berdampak buruk bagi anak. Hal ini disebabkan karena kekurangpahaman dan kurangnya pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh orang tua. Sebagai orang tua perlu dimulai kesadaran untuk mewujudkan kemandirian pada anak usia dini. Orang tua juga perlu memberikan kasih sayang yang cukup bagi anak agar anak tidak merasa kesepian. Anak-anak yang dibesarkan dalam limpahan kasih sayang orang tua akan memperlakukan orang lain dengan kasih sayang pula. Setelah dewasa, ia akan belajar mencintai istri, anak, sahabat, dan masyarakatnya. Dengan demikian, orang tua sudah membantu proses anak menjalani tugas perkembangannya sehingga akan terbentuk proses kemandirian dalam diri anak hingga dewasanya. Supaya anak mendapatkan kemandirian tersebut, maka orang tua membutuhkan pengetahuan atau ilmu tentang cara mendidik, mengasuh, dan membimbing anak dengan baik dan benar. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan oleh orang tua untuk menstimulasi anaknya adalah dengan mengikuti berbagai kegiatan parenting sebagai program pembimbing orang tua.  Kata Kunci: Program parenting, orang tua, pengasuhan positif, perkembangan anak.
