This thesis is a study of historiography that discusses the views of Annick Cojean found in Gaddafi Harem towards Muammar Gaddafi in Libya. In conducting this research, historical research methods are the method chosen. The results of this study are how Annick Cojean's views on Muammar Gaddafi in Libya with Cojean use Orientalist, Feminist glasses and also from the perspective of Western Hypocritical Media. There are two parts or phases in the Gaddafi harem book, the first part of the book is Cojean showing a prominent figure in the book called Soraya which tells how the life of the Soraya life from adolescence to the great revolution in Libya in 2011. Part two in the book Cojean focused more on the narrative of Muammar Khadafi's accomplice in carrying out his hegemony for 42 years, until his death in 2011.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah berdiri dan perkembangan organisasi Muhammadiyah Cabang Lubuk Jambi. Kajian tentang Muhammadiyah Cabang Lubuk Jambi penting dikarenakan Muhammadiyah Cabang Lubuk Jambi merupakan Muhamamdiyah tertua di Provinsi Riau, namun sumber sejarah mengenai berdirinya organisasi Muhammadiyah Cabang Lubuk Jambi masih terbatas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode historis, hasil dari penelitian ini melihatkan perkembangan organisasi Muhamamdiyah Cabang Lubuk Jambi yang di bagi menjadi beberapa periode, periode awal perjalanan, periode kemunduran, periode kebangkitan dan periode pekembangan serta pementapan organisasi. Dari perkembangan organisasi ini dapat di lihat pengaruhnya terhadap kehidupan masyarakat Lubuk Jambi.

This paper examines, why the Pasir Pangaraian Islamic Center Great Mosque became popular in 2015? Has the Pasir Pangaraian Islamic Center Great Mosque fulfilled the criteria as a religious tourist attraction? The method used is the historical method which is carried out through four stages, namely source collection (heuristics), source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study indicate that, first, the development of the Great Mosque of the Islamic Center of Pasir Pangaraian from 2010 to 2017 has increased in terms of service. The construction of mosque infrastructure is getting better with the award received by the Great Mosque of the Islamic Center of Pasir Pangaraian as the best mosque in 2015. Secondly, the Great Mosque of Islamic Center Pasir Pangaraian can be said as one of the tourist objects because it meets several criteria as religious tourism, such as provide physical and spiritual freshness, as a place of prayer, dzikir and pray, as religious activities, as community activities. Third, the pattern of building and developing mosques so that the Great Mosque of the Islamic Center of Pasir Pangaraian became popular due to the role and cooperation carried out by the mosque administrators with the government, mosque administrators with the community, and administrators with the company.

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of Bahari Air Bangis tourism objects in 2010-2017, Sungai Beremas District, West Pasaman Regency. The study was conducted in June-July 2019. This study uses a historical research method consisting of four topics, namely data collection (Heuristics), source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. In addition, data is also obtained through interviews. The results of the study show that there are three aspects that can be seen from the development of the Air Bangis marine tourism object. First, the development of management of the Air Bangis marine tourism potential and attraction, the development of tourism infrastructure supporting facilities, the development of the number of visitors and the role of the community in developing tourism objects. Second, analysis of the supporting factors and obstacles to the development of the Air Bangis marine tourism object. Third, the positive and negative impacts of the development of marine tourism object both in the fields of economy, social culture, environment and so forth. In an effort to develop the Air Bangis maritime attraction, it is inseparable from the cooperation of the regional government with the community around the tourist attraction.

Muhammadiyah has emerged and developed in West Sumatra since 1925. The development of Muhammadiyah in this region is much more rapid than the place of birth of Yogyakarta, so that West Sumatra is called as a place for Muhammadiyah to be raised. In the West Pasaman district Muhammadiyah has been in since 1928, by forming the Muhammadiyah Talu group. It was this group that later became the forerunner to the establishment of the West Pasaman Regional Muhammadiyah Leader. Writing the history and development of West Pasaman Muhammadiyah uses a historical method consisting of heuristics (collecting resources), criticizing the sources to find the authenticity and credibility of the data, interpretation (understanding of the text) and ending with historiography (writing history). The results of this study indicate that the West Pasaman Muhammadiyah had existed long before the formation of the West Pasaman government. In its development, West Pasaman Muhammadiyah faced the dynamics of ethnic diversity as well as customs and culture in the area. Through propaganda and charity efforts Muhammadiyah began to be accepted in areas that initially rejected this association.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang peristiwa PRRI yang terjadi di Provinsi Sumatera Tengah pada tahun 1958-1961. Kajian ini mengakaji mengenai kehidupan politik, sosial, dan ekonomi serta peranan Matur pada masa pergolakan daerah, PRRI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah selama proses penulisan. Dimulai dari heuristik atau pengumpulan sumber, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses kritik sumber dan intepretasi data, dan tahap terakhir historiografi atau penulisan sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Matur memiliki peranan sebagai salah satu basis tentara PRRI dan juga sebagai daerah penyangga bagi daerah pedalaman yang masih dikuasai oleh PRRI. Peristiwa PRRI juga mempengaruhi berbagai kehidupan masyarakat. Pertama Kehidupan politik masyarakat banyak pendukung partai Masyumi yang melarikan diri ke hutan karena keamanan dan keselamatan mereka yang tidak terjamin. Kedua, kehidupan sosial, masyarakat Matur yang awal dikenal dengan sifat gotong royong dan saling membantu berubah menjadi masyarakat yang saling mencurigai satu sama lain. Ketiga kehidupan ekonomi, masyarakat Matur kesulitan memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari karena kebijakan embargo ekonomi Soekarno.

Zainuddin Sutan Kerajaan adalah seorang tokoh pendidikan yang dapat dijadikan panutan oleh masyarakat dan sangat berperan besar dalam meletakkan pilar pondasi pendidikan tinggi di Sumatera Barat, dalam artikel ini dibahas sebagai biografi tematis. Kajian ini menganalisis peranan Zainuddin Sutan Kerajaan dalam pendirian serta sebagai Dekan Pertama PTPG Batusangkar tahun 1954-1958. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah dari proses; heuristik; atau pengumpulan sumber; kemudian dilanjutkan proses kritik sumber dan interpretasi data; tahap terakhir adalah penulisan sejarah hingga biografi ini dapat diselesaikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Zainuddin Sutan Kerajaan memiliki peran dalam pendirian dan menjabat sebagai Dekan Pertama PTPG Batusangkar 1954-1958. Peran Zainuddin Sutan Kerajaan dalam pendirian PTPG Batusangkar adalah ditunjuk menjadi ketua panitia pembangunan PTPG Batusangkar, dan kemudian Zainuddin dipercaya untuk menjabat sebagai Dekan PTPG Batusangkar. Hal ini tidak lain karena Zainuddin Sutan Kerajaan merupakan Guru Besar satu-satunya yang berasal dan menetap di Batusangkar sesuai dengan Skp. Presiden No. 11M/ Tahun 1955. Kebijakan-kebijakan Zainuddin Sutan Kerajaan sebagai Dekan yaitu berhasil mendatangkan dosen terbang demi mengisi staf tenaga pengajar yang masih sedikit, dan tidak terlibat dalam pergolakan daerah (PRRI).

Islamic education in Minangkabau always develops each year. One of the Islamic education institutes that support this developing is Perguruan Islam Ar Risalah, Padang City. Perguruan Islam Ar Risalah is a part of donating institution, Islam Ar Risalah. This institution was held on June, 24th 2003 by LIPIA alumnus. In the beginning, this institution only focuses on one level of education, junior high school. But, after that time, this institution expands to some levels of education, there are kindergarten, elementary school, senior high school, Ma’had ‘aly, and Ar Risalah economic school of Islam. In this paper, we focus on the history of how the institution exists, strategic, to develop their institution and influence of this institution for social and religion of around society. The method of this paper is the historical method. The steps are heuristic/gathering the data, then verification of critical for getting the real information from the source. Then interpretation (re-understanding) about the data. And the last, presenting the result to create the paper about the history of Perguruan Islam Ar Risalah.

Artikel ini membahas tentang kebijakan yang dilaksanakan oleh pengelola TNKS untuk mengatasi lahan kritis yang digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk kegiatan pertanian dan perkembangan TNKS dalam perspektif historis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kebijakan yang diterapkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dalam TNKS terutama TNKS dengan Desa Giri Mulyo di Kayu Aro Barat Kerinci, Menjelaskan perkembangan TNKS setelah digunakan oleh masyarakat Desa Giri Mulyo. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah, dengan tahapan, yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka temuan penelitian ini adalah adanya kebijakan dari pengelola TNKS yaitu Forest Program II, dimana kebijakan ini merupakan penanaman kembali lahan-lahan yang telah dipakai oleh masyarakat Desa Giri Mulyo dan membantu masyarakat dalam memajukan perekonomian sehingga tidak terlalu berpatokah terhadap pertanian. Pengelola membiarkan untuk sementara masyarakat yang sudah terlanjur berladang didalam wilayah TNKS sampai pohon-pohon yang sudah ditanam kembali mulai besar untuk menutupi lahan yang kritis. Pengelola membentuk 2 kelompok tani untuk memberikan bantuan agar masyarakat tidak menggarap di lahan TNKS lagi dan pengelola TNKS serta masyarakat Desa Giri Mulyo bekerja sama dalam menjaga kelestarian Taman Nasional kerinci Seblat.
