Abstract

The development of today's telecommunication network is progressing very fast. Various kinds of telecommunication technology facilities continue to be developed so that users can communicate practically, wherever the location of the user the resides. This study aims to find out what processes are running when data packets are sent such as computing and comparing the speed of packet data transmitted (Throughput), packet loss data (Packet Loss), and time delay data transmission from each user used. The method used in this study is to use literature study by taking data in the field with the aim to Calculate the value of Throughput, delay and packet loss of a packet sent by each user in the network Ethernet Switch. From the results of the study obtained Comparison of Througput of each field of work, seen in the financial field has the highest value. While having the lowest Througput value is in the field of news. Comparison of time delay of each field can be in the field of delay news with the fastest time to send data and in the field of finance delay with the longest time in data transmission. The packet loss data analysis of each experiment gets a good average score in each field according to ITU G.114 standard with 0% percentage.

Abstract

Along with the advancement of technology in the telecommunications sector, every government or private agency or office already has internet access. However, there are still a few offices that use this failover system that can support community services as is the case at the Makassar Ministry of Religion. This study aims to determine the configuration, performance and efficiency of the failover system. The method used to test the proxy tool and failover system to all users or clients contained in the office of the Ministry of Religion of Makassar, then carried out a trial of the system and then do a comparison of the number of users or clients contained in ISP 1 whether ISP 2 can backup all user or client contained in ISP 1, the results of the comparison failover system runs as expected and all users or clients contained in ISP 1 can be backed up properly by ISP 2 and it can be concluded that performance and efficiency in failover system usage and Smartfren as an ISP 2 is very helpful to maximize service to the community.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology causes hardware technology is also experiencing rapid pekembangan, so that the existing hardware to be fast using, Computers is an electronic device capable of performing several tasks as follows, receive input, process the input earlier in accordance with the program, save the commands and the results of processing. The purpose of this study is to show how much influence is given by overclocking and downclocking process to processor performance, to know the effect on the working temperature generated and the power used from the process. This research method is data analysis with tools that have been prepared. The result of this research is by application of benchmark of synthesis, graph of which shows that the higher the value hence the better its performance, except in Super Pi application which uses second time unit (s) where less time required in test indicate optimal processor performance, to overcome from the need for high computing and so as not to rush to upgrade hardware and also to save more cost in hardware upgrade. The conclusion is the frequency of downcloking generated by 1000 MHz, standard frequency 3000 MHz, Overclocking frequency of 3750 MHz, unstable system, with the overclock system will be unstable until lag / hang unstable system occurs at frequencies above 3.75 GHz.

Abstract

The development of telecommunications technology as a communication necessity at this time has been growing rapidly, needed a means of transmission media that is able to distribute information with large capacity and capable data transfer speeds. Implementing using Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology, the Fiber to The Home (FTTH) service reaches the user to meet the speed of 2GBps. This study aims to identify the causes of increased attenuation or disturbance in FTTH. The method used in this study is to analyze the attenuation value of each core at the sites studied on the FTTH network at PT Telkom. The total attenuation value of fiber optic cables that are calculated from OLT to ONT must be within the specified reasonable limit of 15-28 dB. The caused of the increase in the attenuation value of fiber optic cables such as the number of splice / connections on each cable, and the occurrence of cable indentations above 45°. To overcome the attenuation value that exceeds the reasonable limit can be done by replacing the fiber cable with attenuation of 0.35dB to fiber cable with attenuation of 0.22 dB, so that the attenuation of the fiber optic cable is at the specified reasonable limit.

Abstract

Analysis Quality of Service (QoS) Internet Network Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar guided by Zahir Zainuddin and Rahmania. QoS parameters were observed or measured is Bandwidth, Delay, Packet Loss and throughput. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar, this study aims to measure, analyze and determine Kualitias Internet Network Engineering Faculty of Muhammadiyah University Makassar. To measure Delay, Packet lost and throughput using software Axence NetTools 4.0 Pro. The results of measurements of parameters of Quality of Service (QoS) Internet network is measured is the bandwidth available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday = 10240 Kbps. Delay highest in the can on Thursday = 74.66 ms, while the lowest in the delay may be on Saturdays = 62 ms. Packet loss is the highest obtained on Thursday = 5.33%, while the lowest in the lost packet can be on Saturdays = 0.33%. The highest throughput in the can on Saturdays = 357 106 bps, while the lowest in the throughput can be on Thursday = 278 039 Bps. Based on the data delay and packet loss above, Internet Network Quality Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar categorized as very good.

Abstract

Penelitian Expert System Virtual Hospital bertujuan dalam Diagnosa Awal Penyakit seseorang melakukan diagnosa awal penyakit melalui layanan web dengan melakukan registrasi/pendaftaran terlebih dahulu, selanjutnya setelah login dapat dipilih gejala yang diderita maka akan dimunculkan pertanyaan – pertanyaan yang harus dijawab yang pada akhirnya akan diberikan kesimpulan terhadap penyakit yang diderita.

Abstract

Intelligent Transportation System is a solution to overcome the problem of transportation. The purpose of this study was to design a system to calculate the distance of vehicle movement in the video. One example of application of intelligent transport system is to calculate the speed of a vehicle that can be used in traffic engineering. Parameters used to obtain the speed of the vehicle is the distance parameter. The distance of vehicle movement in the video can be obtained by using a pinhole camera calibration model. An appropriate calibration of camera can provide the intended parameter. There are several stages to perform calculation of the distance of object movement. The first stage was a detection of vehicle within the frame. The detection was required to obtain the center point of  vehicle object. The next stage was to detect an object within the frame. This was performed to understand the movement of object from one frame to another frame. The data used for the study were video data with mov format. The result of research showed that the method of pinhole model was applicable to calculate the distance of object movement in video. The application of this method can help in calculating the object distance without manual calculation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji aplikasi simulator air tanah permukaan dengan menggunakan DEM (Digital Elevation Model) dari maket yang dibuat dengan memanfaatkan sensor IR Depth kamera kinect. Penelitian ini merupakan perancangan sistem dalam bentuk pemodelan yang diawali dengan perumusan masalah, studi kepustakaan dan penelitian ekperimental dengan mengembangkan dengan mengembangkan penggunaan sensor IR depth kamera kinect dalam mengukur ketinggian pixel-pixel gambar dengan menghitung selisih kedalaman pixel dan dasar maket untuk kemudian maket tersebut disimulasikan secara nyata dan dibandingkan dengan pengujian DEM maket yang dilakukan pada aplikasi simulator. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sejauh mana perbandingan kinerja simulator dengan simulasi nyata dari  maket.

Abstract

Objek penelitian dilakukan pada model rumah sebagai maket virtual yang diterapkan pada brosur perumahan. Maket virtual dibuat dengan software library Artoolkit 2.7 untuk menghasilkan objek Augmented Reality dengan metode Marker Based Tracking. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membuat pola marker yang berbeda sebanyak 6 jenis dan diarahkan didepan kamera webcam. Hasil dari pengujian tersebut, model pola marker yang simetris dihasilkan objek sering berganti posisi dengan sendirinya, sedangkan model pola marker yang sejenis sering menampilkan objek tidak sesuai model rumah yang seharusnya. Dari seluruh jumlah pola marker yang diuji hanya 4 jenis pola marker dideteksi dengan baik.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat di era sekarang membuat banyak orang menggunakannya untuk mempermudah pekerjaannya. Seiring berjalannya waktu, keamanan dan saklar lampu otomatis menjadi kebutuhan yang efisien untuk diterapkan pada era saat ini. Untuk keamanan itu sendiri dibutuhkan karena kejahatan atau kriminalitas sudah menjadi permasalahan sosial yang membuat semua warga menjadi resah, karena tingkat kriminalitas yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Kejahatan yang banyak terjadi adalah kasus pencurian dirumah. Sedangkan untuk saklar lampu dibutuhkan  untuk mempermudah menyalakan lampu tanpa harus berinteraksi langsung dengan saklar. Sistem yang biasa digunakan untuk permasalahan tersebut masih menggunakan manual. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem keamanan dan saklar lampu ini berbasis Arduino. Perancangan system keamanan dan saklar lampu otomatis ini menggunakan metode eksperimental yaitu penelitian yang pengumpulan datanya berdasarkan pencatatan lansung. Hasil yang didapat dari sistem ini adalah keamanan tambahan dan keefektifan penggunaan saklar lampu. Pengujian menggunakan  Arduino  sebagai pengendali jarak jauh dan diterima oleh Arduino  melalui Bluetooth HC-05. Sistem keamanan dan saklar lampu otomatis ini berintegrasi antara Smartphone dengan Arduino.
