Abstract

The background of this research is the incomplete learning of students before the material structure and function of plants in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea. The research objective is to determine the use of structured worksheets to improve the ability to understand the concept of structure and function of plants in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea on the structure and function of plants for the 2019/2020 academic year. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea, West Sumbawa Regency in class VIII students for the 2019/2020 school year which consisted of 32 students. This research is a Classroom Action Research which consists of two basic competencies that are divided into two cycles. From each cycle, data were obtained in the form of observations and evaluation results which were analyzed quantitatively. These data are collected and managed with the indicators used, if ± 80% of all students have obtained a value of ± 70 then the hypothesis is accepted. From the results of data processing, the percentage of completeness of learning in the first cycle was 76.47% and the second cycle was 94.12%. These results indicate an increase in each cycle. So it can be concluded that by using structured worksheets in jigsaw-type cooperative learning, plant structure and function materials can improve the ability to understand the concept of plant structure and function in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea, West Sumbawa Regency, 2019/2020 academic year

Abstract

The observations during carrying out the Daily Repetition activities at SMP Negeri 1 Sekongkang showed that learning Social Arithmetic material at the school was not optimal. The purpose of this study is to find out the increase in learning outcomes with the practice of buying and selling through a scientific approach in which there are 4C skills which include Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking, Creative and innovation in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sekongkang; Classroom Action Research as a subject for grade VII students and teacher classmates as observers. This class action research uses two cycles. The results of the study there is an increase in student learning outcomes with the practice of buying and selling through the scientific approach which contains 4C in Class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekongkang. This can be seen an increase in the average value in the acquisition of student learning outcomes from the written test which was originally averaged in the Pre Cycle 68.55 to 72.05 in Cycle I and in cycle II experienced a significant increase of 10.22 from the average cycle I result because in the second cycle the average value becomes 82.27.

Abstract

In another formulation, it is stated that teaching is an attempt to organize a school environment to create conducive learning conditions for students. This formula is considered more advanced than the previous formula because it focuses more on the elements of students, the environment, and the learning process. Problem-based teaching is a teaching approach that uses real-world problems as a context for students to learn about critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as to acquire essential knowledge and concepts from the subject matter. This learning is used to stimulate higher-order thinking in problem-oriented situations including learning how to learn. The methods used in this research are (1) Observation Method, (2) Interview Method, (3) Documentation Method, and (4) Questionnaire Method. Based on the results of research on the teaching and learning process in the field of Civics studies in class VI MI Raudhatul Jannah, Ranggo Village, Pajo District, Dompu Regency, it can be concluded that 1. The effect of problem-based learning models in the Civic Education Field of Study can increase the learning independence of grade VI students at MI Raudhatul Jannah Ranggo Village, Pajo District, Dompu Regency, Academic Year 2019-2020. This can be seen from the increase in learning independence scores in the semester I and semester II. 2. The problem-based learning model in the Civics field of study can improve the learning independence of grade VI students of MI Raudhatul Jannah, Ranggo Village, Pajo District, Dompu Regency. This is evidenced by the increase in the scores of learning independence in semesters I and II. 3. Abstract

Education is a shared responsibility between family, community and school (government). The 1998 GBHN states that education is life-long and is carried out in the family, school and community environment, therefore education is a shared responsibility between family, community and government. In the case of religious education, in general it is a shared responsibility, especially for families, communities and schools or madrasahs. In collecting data in this journal, using the following methods: Observation Methods, Library Methods and Documentary Methods. In this regard, we can draw conclusions 1. Religious education plays an important role in our lives and lives and is an effort that must be carried out for students because religious ideals have a higher and wider value than others. Religion concerns matters of belief or faith which require accuracy and persistence and we must really understand how to present it to students so that the desired goals can be achieved properly. 2. The duties and responsibilities of parents as educators have a very big influence on students. Because the parents in the family / household are the first to be recognized by the child. 3. Children are beings who are developing towards perfection (adult). Step by step the child's development is the development of the mental functions of the child as a whole. Each connected with the other at each level of development requires guidance and leadership. So this is where the role and function of parents in providing guidance and education to children. 4. The aim of religious education is to prepare children so that one day it is enough to do jobs that make themselves happy according to the norms and rules of the Islamic religion. Creating children so that they can be devoted to their parents, know and practice the teachings of their religion, both those related to their personality, society and those directly related to their god. 5. The condition of the teacher and the development of his students is quite advanced and is developing in accordance with the era of development, especially in the fields of education and culture

Abstract

In facing the world of work, graduates need to have learning outcomes that allow them to take a set of smart and responsible actions in carrying out tasks in their field of work. To have smart and responsible actions they need to be trained and guided, so that they are accustomed to using their intelligence in dealing with learning difficulties. This intelligence is the embryo that enables the optimal operation of cognitive abilities as an effort to fully master learning outcomes. The carrying capacity for the functioning of these cognitive abilities requires metacognitive skills, namely strategic skills, how to manage and use thinking activities in certain learning methods. With the available support capacity, information, facts, or problems faced can be processed, recognized, understood by means of critical analytical thinking to further enrich one's knowledge (cognitive aspects). Data collection has been carried out to obtain information about the relationship of mastery of metacognitive skills with the level of cognitive abilities of Islamic Education students of STAI Al-Amin Dompu in designing instructional techniques for PAI learning. Based on the results of data analysis using the Moment Product Correlation statistical technique through statistical analysis using SPSS for Windows, a strong relationship was obtained between the metacognitive skills of students and their cognitive abilities in designing PAI learning instructional techniques. This is indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient or r count greater than r table (0.615> 0.361) at the 5% significance level. With a correlation coefficient of 0.615 (positive), indicating a strong correlation between metacognitive skills and students' cognitive abilities. Therefore, it can be concluded that the higher the metacognitive skills students have, the more they will affect their cognitive abilities. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be explained that cognitive abilities in terms of designing instructional techniques for teaching Islamic education will increase if students have the intelligence to use their metacognitive skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the power of two strategy in increasing student activity in social studies learning, and to determine whether the application of this strategy can improve student learning achievement, as well as to determine the response of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Seteluk to social studies learning with strategies. the power of two. This research is a classroom action research conducted in class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Seteluk. Data collection was done by using observation sheets, cycle tests, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The data on learning achievement and student activities in learning were analyzed using comparative descriptive. The results of data analysis showed that student learning achievement had increased. This can be seen from the data from the cycle test results that have increased. Before the study, completeness of classical learning was only 31.81%, in the first cycle it increased to 59.09%, and in the second cycle it increased again to 86.36%. For student learning activities in the learning process an average of 18.90% increased, while student learning activities in pairs increased by 18.70% on average. Increased learning achievement and student learning activities are also followed by an increase in psychomotor abilities which is shown by an increase in students' ability in percentage

Abstract

This PTS discusses the managerial competence of school principals in improving teacher performance at SD Negeri Sapugara, Brang Rea District, West Sumbawa Regency, motivated by the important role of the principal in improving teacher performance, implementing school quality and at the same time in improving the quality of learning management, because of the steps a school organization controlled by a principal. This study is intended to answer the problem of how the principal's leadership is viewed from managerial competence in improving teacher performance in SD Negeri Sapugara, Brang Rea District, West Sumbawa Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that in the context of managerial competence, the principal of SD Negeri is able to prepare school plans for various levels of planning, develop school organizations according to needs, lead schools in order to optimize school resources, have the right strategy to improve the performance of educational personnel. at his school. Creating a conducive school climate, providing advice to school residents, encouraging all teachers, and implementing interesting learning models. It is human nature, besides the advantages there are also disadvantages, namely the Principal of SD Negeri because of his too discipline, sometimes in certain situations he is active in filling the lesson hours which are actually a portion of the teacher concerned. This condition gives the impression that the principal's level of trust in teachers is lacking

Abstract

The research objective was to increase student interest and achievement in English by using the collaborative reading aloud strategy and two stay two stray. This classroom action research uses subjects and data sources for class VII A SMP Negeri 3 Taliwang school year 2019/2020 in English with 29 students. Kemmis and Taggart's plot method research design with a cycle model. Research data collection uses observation techniques and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis procedure used interactive model analysis by Milles and Huberman. Based on the analysis of test results and findings in the reflection-evaluation of learning activities, it can be concluded that; 1) through appropriate procedures and steps, the collaborative use of reading aloud and two stay two stray strategies can increase student interest and learning achievement in English, 2) The application of this collaborative strategy increases student interest in learning. This can be seen from the increase in value in aspects of student activities who show interest in participating in learning, namely: a) reading aloud, b) listening to readings, c) focusing attention, d) cooperation, e) seeking answers, and f) presentation, 3 ) Student learning achievement in English with the application of collaborative reading aloud and two stay two stray strategies in learning tends to increase in each cycle. The percentage and number of students who scored above the KKM reached 75%, 4) Students' perceptions of the use of collaborative reading aloud and two stay two stray strategies applied in this study were very positive, students were very happy and very interested in this strategy was used in presenting the material and subjects other than English. This collaborative strategy is very effective in increasing student interest and learning achievement when learning is understood about the steps for using this strategy, the teacher guides students who have difficulty in the learning process, and at the end of the lesson, an evaluation test is given and reflects on learning activities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of video learning media on thematic learning outcomes in SD Negeri Kejawat, Brang Rea District, West Sumbawa Regency, 2019/2020 academic year. This research was conducted in 2 cycles with 1 meeting per cycle. The research subjects were teachers and students of grade VI SD Negeri Kejawat, Brang Rea District, West Sumbawa Regency, in the 2019/2020 academic year with a total of 5 students. Data were collected using test and non-test techniques. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that using instructional video media could improve the thematic learning outcomes of Theme 2 (Unity in Differences) in Class VI SD Negeri Kejawat, Brang Rea District, West Sumbawa Regency, namely: (1) The skills of teachers through the use of video learning media increased. The increase in teacher skills was 18.73% from 72.93% in the first cycle with a good category to 91.66% in the second cycle with a very good category. (2) Student activity through the use of learning video media increased. The increase in student activity was 13.47% from 68.33% in the good category in the first cycle to 81.80% in the second cycle with a very good category. (3) Student learning outcomes through the application of learning video media have increased. Student completeness increased by 60% from 40% at the end of the cycle I to 100% at the end of cycle II. The data has reached the established success indicator of 80%.

Abstract

The learning process is always demanded how the teaching materials conveyed by the teacher can be completely mastered by students so that in teaching, especially in Science, an appropriate learning strategy is needed. Teachers should choose the right strategy to facilitate the achievement of effective and efficient learning goals so that student learning outcomes are achieved both from the aspects of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The purpose of this research is to find out how to implement the Problem Based Instruction Strategy to improve the learning achievement of grade V students in the Science subjects at MIS Al-Yaminy Dompu in the 2019/2020 school year. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles, from the results of the actions taken proved to be able to improve learning achievement in class V. In the first cycle, the students' absorption capacity was 62.71% and classically 47.06% (sufficient category). The percentage of completeness and absorption power has not yet reached the classical level of mastery learning, which is at least 85% and for the absorption capacity> 65%. After the second cycle of action, there was an increase in student absorption by 78.53% and classically 88.24% (very good category). The results of this action research indicate that the application of the Problem Based Instruction Strategy is effective for improving student achievement in science subjects in class V at MIS Al-Yaminy Dompu in the 2019/2020 school year
