Abstract

This research discusses how gamification in Virtual Reality (VR) can be applied to immersive learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review. From this study, we describe the various challenges and the solutions with the hope that learning that utilizes this new technology will not only be exciting and can also provide effective learning outcomes. It was found that it was necessary to make adjustments to the equipment, design, and implementation. In terms of equipment, adjustments can be made using cheaper equipment. In design, it is necessary to adjust to the needs of the students and the learning objectives themselves. Then in the implementation, it is essential to make adjustments by providing appropriate stages and ensuring students understand how the context is learned through VR gamification can be realized in the real world.

Abstract

This study aims to describe school policies for increasing teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 1 Hu'u. This research also uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods in the form of observations, interviews, and document studies which are used as sources of primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from observations and interviews with school principals and teachers. Secondary data is in the form of supporting data documents to strengthen the Implementation of School Policies in Increasing Teacher Professionalism at SMP Negeri 1 Hu'u, Dompu Regency. The results of the study show that: 1) the implementation of MGMP, PKB, Education, and Training activities, and curriculum development from the three schools are still lacking because not all teachers are sent to these activities. As well as the lack of readiness for teacher professional competence in the self-development sector and the use of technology, information, and communication. 2) The obstacles faced in the implementation of increasing teacher professionalism are ongoing professional development, namely the teacher's lack of understanding of teaching materials, and the lack of opportunities to attend training as support to becoming a professional teacher. 3) Efforts to address the obstacles encountered in the implementation of increasing teacher professionalism have been carried out related to the implementation of PKB, MGMP, curriculum development, and training at the school, regional and provincial levels but these achievements have not been fully maximized. The education office and schools need to continue to strive to improve teacher professionalism. This analysis has an impact on the creation of better education, improving the performance and quality of teachers to become professional teachers, and the realization of public understanding of the importance of education

Abstract

This research aims to describe the myteme and structures of the Sumbawa Paruma Ero folklore level based on Levi Strauss structuralism of research. This research used a qualitative description methods with a structural approach. Methods of collecting data using library methods and note-taking techniques. Levi - Strauss structuralism theory as the basis of his analysis. The results of the analysis of the mytemes in the Sumbawa Paruma Ero folklore are divided into six mytemes: (1) The myteme of the stories Lalu Muhammad Maula paying attention to the take a bath of Bidadari, (2) The myteme of the story the Bidadari Married, (3) The myteme of loyalty and lying, (4) The myteme of the birth of a child then Muhammad Maula, (5) Myteme the story of the departure of the angel and then Muhammad Maula flew, (6) The mytee of the story revealed by Paruma Ero. The structures of the levels in the Paruma Ero stories is divided into four levels: (1) the geographical level, namely the level related to the setting of the place in the stories, (2) the techno-economic level, namely the level related to livelihoods, (3) the sociological level concerning the social life involved. bind the characters, (4) the cosmological level concerns the supernatural things experienced by the characters in the stories

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out what eco-pedagogical content that educators can use in teaching environmental care values to early childhood. The method used is a systematic review by collecting relevant literature related to ecopedagogy in early childhood. The results of this study indicate that there are some ecopedagogic content that can be used as learning materials for early childhood, including through green school, digital media, creative dance, out bound, field trips and storytelling methods. All of this content is very effectively applied to early childhood, because the learning process is carried out to be more meaningful for children and in accordance with the characteristics of children in this era of globalization

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is to find out how students write descriptive text skills in the application of blog media with a contextual approach. This study uses research with a quantitative approach with the type of Quasi-Experimental research with Pre-test and Post-test Design. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Woja. The population in this study were all students at SMPN 1 Woja. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 56 students. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets of student activity and descriptive text test questions. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis and N-Gain which were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 for windows. The results showed that the application of blog media with a contextual approach had an influence on students' ability to write a descriptive text. Analysis of student learning activity data in the experimental class obtained a percentage value of 96.42% while in the control class it was 82.14%. The results of the post-test data analysis showed that the experimental class value was higher than the control class with an average score of 88.57 with an N-Gain value of 0.87 for the experimental class, while in the control class the post-test average value obtained 78.65 with an N-Gain value of 0.62.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the relationship between self-efficacy and learning achievement. This research approach is a quantitative correlation approach with the type of ex-post facto. This research was conducted at STKIP Al Amin Dompu. The research posulation is all students at STKIP Al Amin Dompu. The sampling technique used random sampling which totaled 30 students. The research instrument used a Likert scale type sheet with a total of 20 items and a description test sheet with a total of 5 items. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used the product moment correlation test with SPSS type 29.00 for windows. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the variable self-efficacy and learning achievement because the significant sig (2-tailed) was less than 0.05 or 0.01 <0.05. r count (Pearson Correlation) is greater than r table or r count > r table which is equal to 0.675 > 0.361 which indicates a relationship or correlation between self-efficacy variables and learning achievement and has a positive relationship. The level of relationship between self-efficacy variables and learning achievement is in the strong criteria

Abstract

The study aims to find out the extent of the application of natural-based civic education learning at Al-Kautsar Ranggo IT High School. This type of research is a research and development experimental approach. This is based on the fact that the experimental method is an appropriate and accurate method to fulfill the function of science, namely explaining, predicting, and controlling. The experimental method has the most strict and transparent structure. The results of the study obtained that the nature of each learning process, the child is allowed to creatively develop the talents and abilities that each student has, because in the learning process the teacher does not ask the student to be something, but gives the student freedom to become something, the teacher only supervises And teaches students to develop the talents they need

Abstract

Students’ decision to enter a tertiary institution is influenced by the applied-marketing strategies, one of which is the marketing mix strategy. It uses the 7P concept: product, price, place, people, process, promotion, and physical evidence. Hereby, this study aims to measure the effect of the marketing mix strategy elements on the students’ decisions and to determine the most dominant marketing mix strategy variable in determining the student’s decision to study at the IKIP PGRI Kalimantan Timur. The population in this study was 272 students of the Economic Education Study Program, which comprised 153 people sample. Subsequently, the data analysis techniques used multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing using the F test. The result showed a simultaneous influence between the seven marketing mix elements on the students’ decisions of economic education to study at IKIP PGRI Kalimantan Timur, in which the variable “people” is the dominant variable influencing students in making decisions and followed by the variable “process”.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the ability of mathematical representation between students who get learning using the Connected Mathematics Project learning model and students who get learning using the Problem Based Learning model. The sample of this research is class VIIIA and VIIIB students at SMPN 18 Surabaya. The approach used is an experimental approach. The research instrument consisted of a pretest and posttest which contained questions to find out students' mathematical representation abilities (visual, verbal, and symbolic representation abilities) on flat sided geometric material. This type of research is quantitative where the method of data analysis uses statistical analysis of data normality tests, homogeneity, and independent sample t-test with SPSS 21 software. The results show that there are differences in the Connected Mathematics Project learning model and the Problem Based Learning Model on the ability of mathematical representation of the subject matter construct flat sided rooms in class VIII SMPN 18 Surabaya and overall the average scores for CMP and PBL classes have a significant difference (p = 0.006). It can be concluded that the CMP and PBL learning models can improve students' mathematical representation abilities
