Abstract

Ibu hamil merupakan salah satu kelompok rawan dalam penularan Covid-19, meskipun sebagian besar tidak menunjukkan gejala pada saat terpapar. Penerapan Adaptasi Tatanan Kebiasaan Baru dilakukan untuk menghindari terjadinya penularan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya penerapan adaptasi tatanan kebiasaan baru pada ibu hamil di Kecamatan Sungailiat dan kondisi gizi ibu selama Pandemi Covid-19 menggunakan metode deskriptif korelatif dengan desain potong lintang. Ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar responden telah menerapkan penggunaan masker, cuci tangan pakai sabun dan menjaga jarak, namun hanya 17,6% yang menghindari kerumunan. Adanya perbedaan dalam pelayanan kesehatan dirasakan oleh 41% responden yang beranggapan tidak leluasanya mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan, karena harus menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Konsumsi makanan utama secara teratur dilakukan oleh 85% responden, namun hanya 35% responden yang mengkonsumsi makanan selingan. Kekurangan energi kronik (KEK) terjadi pada 8,8% responden dan anemia dialami oleh 20,6% responden. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah adaptasi tatanan kebiasaan baru telah dilakukan sebagian besar responden dan kondisi gizi secara umum telah cukup baik, meskipun perlu diberikan perhatian pada terjadinya kasus KEK pada ibu hamil.

Abstract

Infections that occur in hospitals called Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) are a serious problem for public health. HAIs are infections that patients get during undergoing treatment procedures and medical procedures in health services after jam 48 hours and after ? 30 days after leaving the health facility. One way to reduce nosocomial infections is by washing hands. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of health workers about the spread of infection with five moment compliance. The design of this research is descriptive correlational research with the approach used is cross sectional approach. Determination of the sample in this study was chosen by the total sampling technique which amounted to 40 people. The data collection of knowledge about the spread of disease using questionnaires and hand washing data five moments using the observation sheet. The statistical test used in this study was Rank Spearman. The results of this study are p value 0.104 <0.05 so that the hypothesis is rejected ie there is no relationship knowledge knowledge of infection spread with the compliance of health workers in hand washing (five moments). Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that the Badung Mangunsada General Hospital be used as a reference in compliance with five moments hand washing by health workers so as to prevent the spread of infection.

Abstract

Dysminorrhea is a complaint that often makes young women go to the doctor for consultation and get treatment. Dysminorrhea is pain that causes discomfort in the lower abdominal area that occurs during menstruation, even dysminorrhea can interfere with daily activities, dysminorrhea often occurs in women who are menstruating. When a woman is menstruating, it produces excess prostaglandins which can cause dysminorrhea pain. Dysminorrhea is a disorder that often occurs during menstruation. Although dysminorrhea is not dangerous, it often disrupts activity patterns in women who are menstruating. The prevalence of dysminorrhea shows a high enough frequency. According to WHO, about 16.8-81% of young women experience dysminorrhea. One of the non-pharmacological therapies is to relax the breath in women who experience dysminorrhea to reduce pain. Methods: international literature and national literature searched through electronic media with keywords. Five articles were selected, each of which represented an effectiveness of breath relaxation on the reduction of dysminore pain. Result: there is an effect of breath relaxation on the reduction of dysminore pain in respondents. Discussion: one of the non-pharmacological treatments to reduce dysminore pain is by breathing relaxation techniques. Breath relaxation can relax muscle tension so that it can reduce pain.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is a degenerative disease. Those aged ?55 years are at risk for suffering from hypertension, previously blood pressure prehypertension before being diagnosed with hypertension occurred between the third and fifth decades. The World Health Organization reports as many as 839 million cases of hypertension, by 2025 this figure is expected to increase to 1.15 billion or around 29% of the world's total population, where female sufferers are more than 30% compared to male hypertension sufferers, namely 29%. One of the non-pharmacological treatments to treat hypertension is consuming cucumber. Methods: International and national literature searched through electronic media with keyword hints. Eight articles were selected, each of which represents an effectiveness of giving cucumber to reduce blood pressure and provides various information. Results: There was an effect of giving cucumber on reducing blood pressure in respondents. Discussion: One alternative that can be used to lower blood pressure is by consuming cucumber. The diuretic effect on cucumber causes the salt content in the blood to decrease. Reduced levels of salt that absorbs or retains water will reduce blood volume so that it can lighten the work of the heart in pumping blood, and eventually blood pressure will decrease. Conclusion: The conclusion based on the analysis that has been done is that cucumber is effective for lowering blood pressure.

Abstract

Traditional medicine has been used by various aspects of society from the upper to lower economic levels, one of the medicinal plants that is widely known by the Indonesian people but has prospects as a source of medicinal ingredients is binahong with the scientific name Anredera cordifolia. The binahong leaves are boiled and then applied to respondents who have moderate acne, aged 17-24 years. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of boiled water from the leaves of binahong (Anredera cordifolia) as a treatment for acne vulgaris. This research method is experimental. How to collect data with questionnaires, documentation and observation. Data analysis using T-test. The sample in this study were students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ibrahimy, aged 17-24 years who had moderate acne types, with a total of 30 respondents. The variable in this study was the boiled water of binahong leaves packaged in a spray bottle. The average value before treatment is while the value after being given treatment. Based on research that boiled water from binahong leaves has a significant effect on respondents to reduce the number of acne lesions. Based on the hypothesis test, it is known that the correlation coefficient value is 0.796 with p value (sig) 0.000 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Berbagai keluhan dapat terjadi pada masa kehamilan, satu diantaranya adalah mual dan muntah pada awal kehamilan. Mual dan muntah adalah gejala yang wajar dan sering didapatkan pada kehamilan, hampir 70-85% wanita hamil mengalami mual muntah pada trimester pertama . Hal ini dapat menimbulkan kerusakan jaringan yang dapat membahayakan kesehatan ibu dan perkembangan janin yang dikandungnya. Intervensi untuk penanganan mual muntah pada kehamilan dapat dilakukan secara farmakologi dan non farmakologi. Metode farmakologi berpotensi mempunyai efek samping yang kurang baik, sedangkan metode nonfarmakologi bersifat murah, simpel, efektif, dan lebih aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pemberian aromaterapi lemon dan wedang jahe terhadap penurunan mual muntah pada ibu hamil yang ada di kota Medan. Penelitian pre Eksperimental dengan desain pre test post test group design . Sampel penelitian adalah ibu hamil yang datang ke klinik dengan keluhan mual muntah yang berjumlah 79 orang yang ditentukan menjadi 2 kelompok perlakuan. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling sesuai kriteria inklusi. Analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon dengan ?= 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian wedang jahe dan aromaterapi lemon dapat menurunkan skor mual muntah pada ibu hamil dengan tingkat signifikansi masing-masing p=0.001, Kesimpulan yang didapat bahwa aromaterapi lemon dan wedang jahe berperan menurunkan mual muntah.

Abstract

Schizophrenic patients have decreased ability to maintain daily care. Family support in the care of schizophrenic patients is influenced by the knowledge of schizophrenic patient care by the family which can give a positive response in daily care for schizophrenic patients. This study aimed at determining the correlation between family support and the level of knowledge in the care of schizophrenics at the Mental Clinic of RSD Mangusada Badung. The study was implemented with an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The total samples were 67 respondents using the incidental sampling technique. Data were collected using a family support questionnaire and a questionnaire on the level of care knowledge. Data were analyzed using Spearman`s rho test. The results of the study were 36 people with adequate family support with a percentage of 53.7% and 36 people with a high level of knowledge of care with a percentage of 53.7%. correlation analysis between family support and the level of knowledge of care obtained p-value <0.001. There was a correlation between family support and the level of knowledge of schizophrenic care in Mental Clinic RSD Mangusada Badung. The recommendations of this study are expected to be input for nurses to always provide care education for schizophrenia patients to their families.

Abstract

Nurses are the spearhead of services that greatly affect patient satisfaction as service users in the hospital. One of the nursing services that provided by nurses is administering drugs. The twelve correct principles of drug administration are the most current principles of medication, consisting of correct patient, correct drug, correct dose, correct method of administration, correct time, correct documentation, correct health education regarding medication, patient right to refuse, correct assessment, correct evaluation, correct reaction to food and correct reaction to other drugs. This study aimed to determine the correlation between the implementation of drug administration with twelve correct principles on the level of patients’ satisfaction in the Inpatient Ward of Mangusada Badung General Hospital.This research was a quantitative study with observational methods and cross sectional design, the sample in this study were patients and the population of nurses in Mangusada Badung General Hospital according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria selected by purposive sampling of 58 patients and 58 nurses. The research was conducted for 1 month. Data were analyzed using nonparametric rho spearman test at a significance level of ? 0.05, p value was 0.000 <0.05. It showed that there was a significant correlation between the implementation of drug administration with Twelve correct principles on the level of patients’ satisfaction in the Inpatient Ward of Mangusada Badung General Hospital. It is expected that health workers, especially nurses, can apply the principles of correctness in administering drugs to increase patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Appendectomy is a surgical procedure for appendicitis. This action can cause the perception of pain so that it has an impact on the healing process and triggers further complications if left untreated. Deep breathing relaxation techniques combined with aromatherapy is one of the treatments done to help overcome post appendectomy pain. This study purposed to determine the effect of deep breath relaxation with lavender aromatherapy on the level of post appendectomy pain in the Janger Room RSD Mangusada. This study is a pre-experimental research with one group pretest and posttest design involving 32 samples selected through purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using a research instrument in the form of the Numerical Rating Scale observation sheet. The results showed that there was an effect of deep breath relaxation with lavender aromatherapy on the level of post appendectomy pain in the Janger Room at RSD Mangusada (p-value = 0,000). This research can be applied in the provision of nursing services as one of the nursing interventions to reduce post appendectomy patient pain.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by pancreas that does not produce enough insulin, resulting on the inability of the body to use insulin effectively. The symptoms suffered by patients are often mild and this causes considerable people with diabetes mellitus do not realize that they have diabetes mellitus. If Diabetes Mellitus is not immediately treated, it would cause long-term complication including macrovascular diseases. Plentiful elderly with Diabetes Mellitus in Sidakarya Village do not realize that they suffer from Diabetes Mellitus and prefer to do non-pharmacological therapy. One of non-pharmacological therapies that can reduce blood sugar levels is ergonomic exercises. The aim of this study was to find out how ergonomic exercises effected towards the lower of blood sugar levels in elderly in Sidakarya Village, South Denpasar. This study is a quantitative research using Pre-Experimental Design One Group Pre-Test Post-Test with total samples of 19 elderly. Data was analysed using non-parametric test of Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test in order to compare the result of the pre-test and post-test. The result of this study showed that prior to the implementation of ergonomic exercises, it was found approximately 57,9% respondents who suffered from prediabetes and 42,1% respondents who suffered from diabetes, while after intervention of ergonomic exercises were given, there were only 7 respondents (36,8%) who suffered from diabetes and 12 respondents (63,2%) who have normal blood sugar levels. According to the calculation result, it was obtained that p value = 0,0001 < ? 0,05 and Zcount -3.824b that showed an effect of ergonomic exercises towards the lower of blood sugar levels in elderly in Sidakarya Village, South Denpasar. Based on the result of this study, ergonomic exercises is expected to be able to help reducing blood sugar levels in elderly with Diabetes Mellitus who prefer to do non-pharmacological therapy.
