JURNAL OPTIMALISASI (JOPT) merupakan jurnal elektronik online yang diterbitkan oleh Program studi Teknik Industri, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Teuku Umar. JOPT memuat kajian dibidang Manufaktur, Ergonomi dan Manajemen Rantai Pasok. Tujuan penerbitan jurnal optimalisasi adalah sebagai wadah publikasi yang mewadahi kebutuhan peningkatan kualitas karya ilmiah dalam rangka pengembangan keilmuan dan menyebarluaskan kajian bidang ilmu Teknik Industri, sekaligus sebagai wahana komunikasi diantara cendekiawan, praktisi, mahasiswa dan pemerhati masalah Industri. Abstract

This study to determine the use of organic mulch on eggplant production. This research was carried out in the garden of kemumu Hilir Village, Labuhan Haji Timur Disrtict,South aceh Regency. The design used was RAK with the treatment of organic mulch iesugarcane bagasse, rice straw mulch and reeds. The result showe that best eggplant production was found in the treatment of straw mulch, namely the number of fruits (1,506 pieces), fruit length (18,814cm) and the average weight per fruit (112,763gram).

Abstract

UD. Bata Jaya is an industry engaged in the process of making red bricks. UD. Bata Jaya is located in the village of Cucum, Jln. Tungkop-Blang Bintang Lama, Kab. Aceh Besar. This study aims to determine the selling price of red bricks, the method used in this study is the Target Profit Pricing method. This research was conducted in several stages, namely preliminary observations then continued with data collection, analyzing the results of data processing and finally concluding the results of the research, as well as being reviewed from theories about the determination of product selling prices. The final result obtained in this study is the determination of the price determined by the Target Profit Pricing method, which is the cost of the product of Rp.520.82 / stem assuming a profit of Rp.612.72 / stem for a profit of 15%, then Rp. 651.02 / stick for profits of 20% and Rp.694.42 / stick for profits of 25%, and finally advice for UD. Bata Jaya, that is, with the existence of a brick factory, we can maintain and cultivate a culture of brick production because now few people are building houses with bricks, and being an additional job for unemployed people can be slightly overcome.

Abstract

Waste management aims to protect clean and healthy environment. Handling of waste problems in Blang Krueng area still has many obstacles. Most of the locations of waste disposal in Blang Krueng area do not meet health requirements. People do not yet have waste dumping. This is due to the unavailability of waste transportation facilities. In addition, in order to overcome this waste, people often burn the wastes. However, it can cause air pollution. Thus, this research is expected to optimize waste transportation facilities based on the number of ritations by using waste generation data in the area. The last hope of course the cleanliness  in Blang Krueng area.

Abstract

Puskesmas has a counter service, because every patient at the puskesmas who will take the medicine is served through the counter. In general, each puskesmas has a minimum number of one counter according to service needs. The problem that occurs in the Puskesmas is that it always causes queues for patients. Queues that occur in the Kuala District Public Health Center are at the drug collection counter. The volume of arrivals is in the queue per day of 109, with a study time of 5 days. While at the drug collection counter, it only has one counter. The aim of the study was to find out whether the number of drug collection counters in the Puskesmas was optimal and to find out how many counters should be owned by the Puskesmas so that they could serve patients optimally. The method used in this study is a queuing model to determine the performance of drug collection counters. In addition simulation techniques are also used to provide an overview of a system to evaluate and improve system performance. From the results of calculations and simulations of the Arena, it was found that the number of optimal counters for drug collection counters was 4 counters. From the results of the calculation of simulation output, it can be seen that the simulation model scenario 2 is better than the simulation model scenario 1 and scenario 3, because in scenario 2 there are 4 counters with a waiting time of 0.8546 minutes, thus reducing the number of patient queues.

Abstract

CV. Barona Vulkanisir Ban is a company engaged in tire remanufacturing, which is made to order. The problem that occurs in the company is that there are several divisions of unbalanced workload, in the production process at work stations. So that production is not carried out properly, there is a buildup of materials at several work stations. To solve this problem a line balancing process is carried out. The line balancing process is carried out using the Largest Candidate Rule (LCR) method, with the aim of obtaining a good trajectory balance design, to increase production efficiency and provide an overview of the different conditions of work stations before and after trajectory balancing. The results show that the method the best trajectory balance design with trajectory efficiency results of 58%, balace delay of 42%, smoothing index 156.58 minutes and work stations numbering 3. These results are certainly better than the previous conditions, where the track efficiency level is 21.74%, balance delay 78.26 % and smoothing index 463.58 minutes.
