Abstract

PT PTPN IV (PTPN IV) as one of the state-owned enterprises (SOEs) has made the transformation, including in terms of human resource management. This is reflected in a transformation program which has been launched by the Board of Directors PTPN IV, namely: human resources as the most important asset that must be transformed into a level of qualification that is recognized universally, in the aspects of competence, capability and integrity. To increase knowledge (knowledge), skills (skills) and attitude (attitude) to fit the demands of the post, periodically HR should be given education and training means that the education and training of human resources is an investment that can be interpreted by issuing a number of funds. Evaluation of training can be used as a measuring tool to help identify and analyze the training benefit significantly, demonstrating clear returns for the company, as the basis for evaluation of the training system during this time so that it can be improved in order to contribute to the training of the company. Significant changes occur on the competence of the ex-trainee aircraft operator on duty at the boiler palm oil mill PT PTPN IV, after they followed the training. This is evident from the average value of the competence of the former participants of the training changes are relatively high at 4.27 (good category) of the three domains of competence studied, the greatest changes occur is on the domain of skills of participants increased quality of the work with a score of 4, 44 followed by Attitudes that increased motivation with a score of 4.40, respectively. Abstract

Food is the main source of energy for the human body to perform its activities. Food eaten is transformed into calories. Caloric intake for labor is aimed to maintain and improve the health and seeking optimum working power, for it needs to be in accordance with the workload. The purpose of this research is to determine workload based on the classification workload (% CVL) on workers and determine the number of calories in food intake worker. Results of this study are expected to determine the workload so as to measure employee productivity can next evaluation to improve the productivity of the company's work.Keywords: Calorie, workload, productivity, CVL.

Abstract

PDAM Tirta, Meulaboh, West Aceh District, WTP Lapang, is a regional company which gives clean water service to the people of Meaulaboh, West Aceh District. The capacity of production of PDAM Tirta, Meulaboh, West Aceh District WTP Lapang, was 80 liters/second, but during the system of distribution, it lost water at the average of ± 47.95% and the coverage of service of 39.06%. This condition was still under the ideal condition, that is, the loss of ≤ 20 and the coverage of service was ≥ 60%.The aim of the research was to find the design of increasing the production capacity in order to increase the coverage of service and formulate the strategy to increase the production capacity in water distribution system. Based on the analysis, it could be concluded that the low coverage of service occurred because the people’s need for water at Meulaboh increased along with the increase in population. Another factor was the facility of distribution network and the production installation was already old so that a lot of water got lost.Based on the projection of the number of population, using Geometric Method, it was found that the number of population at Meulaboh in the early of the current year of 2012 was 58,645 and at the end of the current year of 2021 was 71,894 with the level of the growth rate was 2.29%. The total need for water by the people of Meulaboh in the early current year of 2012 was 5,499,731 liters/day (63.65 liters/second), and at the end of the current year of 2021 was 9,920,712 liters/day (14.82 liters/second). Based on the data analysis, it was found that the increase of the planned production capacity was 115 liters/second. The strategic planning in supporting the increase of the production capacity of PDAM Tirtanadi, Meulaboh, West Aceh District, WTP Lapang was the strategic planning for decreasing the loss of clean water, the developing strategy for clean water supply system., the strategy for increasing production capacity, and the strategy for increasing the quality of water.Keywords: Water Treatment Plan, Production Capacity, Increasing the Capacity, Population Projection.

Abstract

Competitive world of construction to create quality jobs in accordance with the wishes of the people are increasingly high, not only large contractors are trying as much as possible, medium and even small contractors will strive to improve the quality of work in accordance with the wishes of the people. This study aims to determine how relevant competence factors include knowledge, skills, and attitudes gained from the lectures of Civil Engineering University Almuslim with the needs in the world of work as well as knowing the difference of perception based on the role of the respondents (contractors and consultants) and work experience of respondents (under 4 year, 4 to 8 years, over 8 years). This research was conducted by distributing a questionnaire addressed to alumni of the University of Civil Engineering Program Almuslim that work to contractors and consultants who are directly involved in a construction project. Furthermore, all kuesoiner which were collected and analyzed statistically using the analysis Independent Sample T-test, and one way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) using SPSS. From the analysis we found that the factor most relevant competences between the educational curriculum of Civil Engineering University Almuslim with the needs of the workforce total is "Reinforcement and Expenses Detail Bending, Axial, Slide, and Torque" on knowledge. For the skill aspect, the greatest subvariable is "Being able to become independent learners follow the development of science in civil engineering". For the aspects of attitude, the highest subvariable is "Experience". In addition, from the results of the analysis showed that there was no difference of perception based on the role and experience of the respondents.Keywords: Relevance, Capabilities, Competencies.

Abstract

PT Bumi Selawah kab.pidie is an industrial company that was founded under perhaps the industry kab.pidie engaged in furniture products are made from rattan. In a production system the company has not classifying products which require priority highest amount of raw material. This is evident from observations in 2014-2015. Where the supply of raw materials is different each year. In 2014 the company supplying raw rattan by 20 tons, which is used only 12 tons, in 2015 the company supplied 10 tons, which is used only 9 tons. The results showed that the total percentage of absorption of funds amounting to 99.6%, where the cumulative percent of items of goods, Rattan Semanow (24-29) 11.11%, Rattan Semanow (40) 22.22%, Rattan Semanow (35-39) 33.33%, Rattan Semanow (18-23) 44.44%, 55.55% Track Rattan, Rattan Fega 66.66%, Semanow (30-34) 77.77%, Semanow (15-17) 88, Rattan Semanow 88% and 99.99%. There are 4 items that belong to class A, which supplies high-end, inventories are valued are classified in class B, and supplies the low value belongs to the class C so that the company can determine how much cane is needed for each category of the classification of the raw materials of rattan these, and order can be made as needed.Keywords: Inventory, ABC method, Rattan

Abstract

Energy recovery is very important to note during the working process to avoid fatigue. One of the factors that can affect energy recovery is rest time. Workers with heavy workloads require the period and frequency of breaks that are different from workers with a light workload. Workers with heavy workload cederung get tired and thus require longer rest periods and more often. This research was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara 1 PKS Pulau Tiga in the sorting Fruit Bunch Oil (TBS), as for the purpose of this study was to assess the workload of workers and clarify the workload by comparing the workload standards, determine the length of rest time workers appropriate in the sorting TBS that they can work with optimum conditions so that the quality of the raw material processed is maintained, and determine the level of energy consumption for the workers at the sorting TBS so that they can work with optimum conditions so that the quality of raw materials TBS maintained, and determine the level of energy consumption of the workers at the sorting TBS , Measurement of physical workload is a simple method to determine the length of time off based on the pulse of current workers to work and rest. From the calculation that the workload (CVL), the worker is greater than 30 percent and categorized at a moderate level and to work in a short time and needed repair. The timing of the break based on the workload is determined by physiological approach. Based on the physiological approach, that breaks given by the manufacturer is not sufficient when compared to the workload of workers sorting the fruit, where the optimal long rest periods for these workers is over 73 minutes or as long as 1,2 hours.Keywords: Workload, Physiological, Break Time

Abstract

Successful planning and production controls require active capacity planning, in order to be able to meet the established master production schedules. Lack of capacity will lead to production failures, delays in delivery to customers, and loss of confidence in the formal system resulting in a decreased corporate reputation. Overcapacity will result in low resource utilities, increased costs, product prices become competitive, decreased profits. Standard time is a measure of completion of a production process for one unit of product with justified clearance. The standard time required to process 40 Ton bunches of palm fruit sterilizer is 94.70 minute/unit, for thresher machine 73,31 minutes/unit, for screw press machine 96,48 Minutes / unit, and oil purification machine 147,13 minute/unit. Efficiency is the ability of the machine to produce a product. The efficiency of sterilizer machine is 88.00%, for thresher machine is 88.00%, for screw press machine is 88.80%, and oil purification machine is 74.00%. Machine utility is the percentage of machine usage in units of time. The sterilizer machine utility is 81,33%, for thresher machine is 87,35%, for screw press machine is 86,88%, and oil purification machine is 83,18%. Capacity is the rate of output per unit time indicating that the facility theoretically has the ability to produce it. The sterilizer machine capacity is 81.33 ton/hour, for thresher bumper machine is 45,08 ton/hour, for screw press machine is 119,09 ton/hour, and oil purification machine is 79,49 ton/hour. The average production capacity of machine taken for two years is 27.61 ton/hour with machine capacity optimization level of 51,88 ton/hour.Keywords : Production Planning and Control, Standard Time, Capacity (RCCP).

Abstract

Many types of pests which is found in oil palm plantations such as rats, bees and the caterpillars. Caterpillar and the bagworm, including a caterpillar eaters leaves oil palm plantations. This Research focuses on a caterpillar type Setora nitens at oil palm plantations Karya Tanah Subur in West Aceh. Many ways that has been done to overcome pests caterpillar in oil palm plantations from early monitoring and extermination caterpillar. To know the density caterpillar can be done by counting directly individual caterpillar or with other methods that in this research, the density caterpillar in the estimation through distance sampling techniques. Distance sampling is one of the methods used to estimate the density and the spread population. The sampling distance, a series point or lines are placed randomly on the districts census and measured the distance between individuals who were detected in handcuffs or this point. Ordered Distance, Point Quarter and Variable Area Transect the distance sampling method that used in the research. Abstract

This paper discusses the determination of the optimal tilt angle of solar panels in the Nagan Raya aims to maximize acceptance of solar radiation. Adjust the titl angle customized panels with latitude location can maximize the acceptance of solar radiation. Calculation of the optimal angle variations is simulated at an angle of 10 – 50 intervals between angle 10. For the purposes of simulation calculation of optimal tilt angle against the value-based maximum radiation on tilted surface, use data that NASA SEE. A study conducted in Nagan Raya this is determined based on the google maps coordinates of the point. This research resulted in recommendations for the optimum tilt angle in Nagan Raya who was the tilt 40 with South-facing orientation. The results of the technical study of this research can be used as initial references against the installation of a solar panel fixed type in the Nagan Raya.Keywords: Optimum angle, Solar panels, NASA SSE, Nagan Raya, Renewable Energy

Abstract

Water is a basic need that is very important for humans and other living creatures. Drinking water is water whose quality meets health requirements and can drink, it was clean water is water used for daily necessities whose quality meets the requirements of health and can be taken if it has been cooked. The quality of products is one of the most important factors affecting the company's progress, as well as for the water company. In this regard discuss about water quality control if it meets quality standards or not. Quality Control of water in accordance with the standardization and quality standards are allowed very closely related to the level of customer satisfaction. Control of the quality of a product can be done by measuring the different variables that influence it. One way to measure and determine the quality of a product is by using the Taguchi method is done with the design parameters is one of the design phase of a product or process. So hopefully by doing this study water quality PDAM Tirta Meulaboh can be controlled and can be controlled which can certainly improve water services to the people of Aceh Barat.Kata Kunci : Water, Quality Control, Customer Satisfaction, Taguchi.
