Abstract

Provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta telah menjalin kerjasama dengan Provinsi Gyeongsangbuk-Do dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Dalam perjalanannya, kerjasama ini sudah melibatkan berbagai aktor di kedua wilayah, hingga fokus kerjasama keduanya dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini adalah pembangunan desa. Salah satu desa yang mencoba ikut berpartisipasi dalam kerjasama ini adalah desa Sumbermulyo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan lebih lanjut alasan keterlibatan desa Sumbermulyo dalam kerangka kerjasama sister-province yang dilakukan oleh Provinis D.I. Yogyakarta dengan Gyeongsangbuk-Do. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data berupa wawancara dengan stakeholder terkait disertai studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan pemerintah desa Sumbermulyo dalam kerangka kerjasama sister-province antara D.I. Yogyakarta dan Gyeongsangbuk-do didasari oleh kebutuhan desa akan sumber daya pengetahuan pertanian modern dan pendanaan pembangunan infrastruktur paska bencana tahun 2008. Pilihan atas penerimaan kerjasama ini telah memperhatikan UU Nomor 03 Tahun 2008 tentang kerjasama dengan pihak luar negeri, meskipun pada poin kesamaan status administrasi sedikit tidak berkesesuaian, sehingga membutuhkan pihak ketiga sebagai fasilitator dari hubungan kerjasama keduanya.

Abstract

The Israeli occupation of Palestine became a prolonged conflict; this conflict was caused by the seizure of the Jerusalem area. Jerusalem itself is a holy city for Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The conflict began in 1917-1947 when during British rule in Palestine with Jerusalem as the center of government, the Balfour Declaration stated that Britain handed over the mandate of Palestine to the United Nations. During the ongoing conflict to date, not only two countries, namely Israel and Palestine, are involved, but there is also the intervention of the United States which has a fairly dominant role. For example, Donald Trump as President of the United States of America unilaterally announced that he recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in 2017, thus triggering a greater struggle than ever in the Middle East. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview, description, and understanding of the occurrence of conflict events in the Palestinian territories, by looking at the origins of the conflict, the role of the United States in it, and the impact of the dominant role of the United States in this prolonged conflict.

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai peran 88rising sebagai transnational corporation yang bergerak di bidang musik dimana 88rising merupakan independent music labels yang membawa artis-artis Asia untuk memasuki kancah dunia musik global. Tujuan utama dari artikel ini adalah untuk memahami dan juga menjabarkan mengenai peran 88rising sebagai transnational corporation dalam membantu artis Asia memasuki kancah dunia musik global. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori globalisasi dan juga transnasionalisme dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pencarian data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi data sekunder yaitu yang bersumber dari buku, berita online, laporan serta artikel jurnal yang mendukung penelitian ini. Maka dari itu setelah melalui riset dan pembahasan yang penulis lakukan, ditemukan bahwa 88rising sebagai transnational corporation memiliki peran besar dalam membawa artis Asia memasuki kancah musik global. Hal ini merupakan suatu prestasi luar biasa mengingat 88rising merupakan independent music labels yang baru berdiri, dan juga bersaing dengan record label besar lainnya yang juga merupakan transnational corporation.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kerja sama Sister City sebagai sebuah paradoks untuk menjalin hubungan internasional di kota Denpasar. Kerja sama Sister City ini diambil dari perspektif interdisipliner dalam studi hukum kerja sama daerah dan hubungan internasional. Artikel ini mencoba menjawab bagaimana kota Denpasar melakukan paradiplomasi melalui Sister City untuk mempromosikan kerja sama internasional. Implementasi tiga level paradiplomasi yang terdiri dari isu ekonomi (tingkat 1), budaya, pendidikan, teknologi dan aspek multidimensi lainnya (tingkat 2) dan pertimbangan politik (tingkat 3). Koridor hukum kerja sama daerah untuk penegakan para-diplomatik dieksplorasi dengan menggunakan data yang dikumpulkan melalui instrumen hukum dan hubungan internasional. Para-diplomatik yang dimaksud adalah pemerintah daerah mengevaluasi kerangka hukum dan kendala yang diperlukan untuk berinteraksi dengan aktor internasional. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan empiris kualitatif untuk menghubungkan kedua disiplin ilmu tersebut. Artikel menunjukkan bahwa kerja sama Sister City Denpasar dapat dikaitkan dengan praktik para-diplomatik hanya pada tingkat pertama (ekonomi) dan tingkat kedua (budaya, pendidikan dan teknologi). Pemerintah Denpasar menghadapi beberapa tantangan dalam melaksanakan inisiatif Sister City, antara lain hambatan hukum, kontinuitas kerja sama, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, redistribusi dana dan keterbatasan partisipasi warga. Pandemi COVID-19 juga mempengaruhi pelaksanaan kerja sama Sister City yang direncanakan

Abstract

Finland is geographically and politically bordered by Russia. This makes Finland as buffer zone between Russia and Europe. Politically, Finland is a member of the European Union, but not a member of NATO. This article focuses on the reasons why Finland cooperates with NATO in the Political Framework on Cyber defence which was signed on February 16, 2017. The research methodology used is qualitative with a literature study method. The problem analysis in this article uses complex interdependence theory. The article concludes that Finland and NATO need such cooperation as a precaution against future attacks such as the denial of service on websites of non-governmental organizations, companies, and the Ministry of Defense. For NATO, cooperation is a measure to anticipate threats that come from closest enemies who have the potential to steal information or secret documents of the organization.

Abstract

When we're talking about national defense, the meaning is currently expanding in line with the times. The advancement of technology today can be seen from the massive use of smartphones in the world. However, technological developments also followed by the potential for cybercrime which is also increasingly sophisticated, currently cybercrime is evolving from just password guessing to tools. One example of a tool is predatory spyware. Attacks with sophisticated equipment such as predatory hacking tools can threaten cyber security in the national defense system. Therefore, literature is needed to uncover and overcome cyber attacks and hacking threats to national defense. The method used in this article is descriptive qualitative research method. The results of this research are first, the cyber attack method consists of cyber espionage, vandalism, sabotage, and power grid attacks. Second, the operand mode of cybercrime consists of two ways, physically hacking and logically hacking. Third, predatory spyware is a hacking tool developed by the company Cytrox that can record the user's cellphone activity and has potential to threaten the country's cyber defense. Fourth, the biggest potential loss from predatory spyware is the dissemination of strategic information from the state to other parties that can threaten state security.
