Abstract

The European Union is an inter-governmental organization whose members are European countries. Since July 1, 2013 already has 28 member countries, many countries of the European region who want to join the European Union, one of which is Turkish, the extent to which the Turkish government's efforts to join the European Union? This study aims to determine the extent of the Turkish Government Efforts To Join The European Union (2004-2008). To be able to Turkey joining the European Union must meet the Copenhagen criteria which consists of the political criteria, economic and acquis, Turkey must conform to all the regulations of the European Union so researchers try to analyze from the effort, constraints, and prospects for Turkey to join the European Union. This type of research is a qualitative research method used is descriptive analysis techniques. aims to describe the facts related to the problem under study. Most of the data that is collected through library research, online data retrieval, and documentation, data were then analyzed with a theoretical approach to dealing with International Relations. The results showed that the Turkish government has made progress in meeting the criteria candidates are awarded by the European Union, Turkey showed promising economic growth, recorded during the year 2004-2008 Turkish economic growth averaged 7%. Turkey managed to adopt new chapters in the Acquis criteria, although there are many other chapters that have not adapted to the European Union, in the political aspects of the Turkish government has been working hard to solve the problem of ham with the Kurds, Armenia and Cyprus, but in line with the efforts that have been The Turkish government in its application, there are still many obstacles that eventually make Turkey's accession to EU membership back hampered..

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA) through Integrated Coastal Management Program (ICM) for Controlling the Damages of the Coral Reefs Ecosystem in Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. Researcher attempted to analyze the purpose of doing damage control program in coral reef ecosystems that occur in coastal areas Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. Author of the research methods used in this study is descriptive analysis method. Most of the datas have been gathered through library research, online data retrieval, documentation, interviews and observation. The results showed that the implementation of ICM in Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi, West Java has involved many sectors related to the management of the Marine and Coastal regions in Palabuhanratu Sukabumi, West Java, with the implementation of several development projects in the coastal region of Palbuhanratu since 2003. But technically still have not made a direct attempt to address the damage to the coral reefs that occur in Palabuhanratu because of the constraints faced. Efforts made in the control of coral reef damage is in the form of outreach to the local community Palabuhanratu coast of Kenya, West Java since 2004.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role and efforts of the ILO in promoting the rights of persons with disabilities employment opportunities in Indonesia in 2012-2014. This study used qualitative methods, with the data collection technique literature (online searches, interviews, documentation). As for analyzing the data, researchers used data reduction techniques. The results showed that the role carried out by the ILO through PROPEL project-Indonesia in promoting the rights of persons with disabilities employment opportunities in Indonesia serves as a platform and means. ILO helps, socialize, approach, providing technical assistance and recommend solutions or policies in dealing with disability issues against the government, employers and labor unions in Indonesia. The conclusion from this study is the ILO has contributed to promoting the rights of persons with disabilities employment opportunities in Indonesia, is viewed from many policy makers began raising the issue of disability in providing employment opportunities to Indonesian people with disabilities and priorities Disability Bill for the Government of Indonesia today.

Abstract

The limited access and capability of India as an observer makes India want accession to become a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) as an effort to fulfill its national interests. This study aims to describe India's national interests in SCO membership and obstacles it faces. The research method used is qualitative. The results of this study indicate that economic interests, security, energy and connectivity are India's motivation to join SCO membership. India views SCO as an arena to achieve its national interests. These interests include building economic cooperation, combating terrorism and radicalism, joining regional anti-terrorist structures, combating narcotics trafficking, and fulfillment of energy needs. The obstacles for India in the membership of SCO is India’s limited capability due to China’s domination in the organization and there is a difference understanding of terrorists between India and SCO.

Abstract

Indonesia has a significant role as Indonesia helps to deal with ethnic Rohingya issues in Myanmar by politically engaging with the Myanmar government to discuss the issue, proposing solutions to stop violence and sending humanitarian aid to the Rohingyas both in Myanmar and in Bangladesh. Indonesia views positively with what the Myanmar government has done to solve its internal problems. This problem is certainly gradual to be solved. Indonesia as a country that has a very good relationship with Myanmar, always supports all the process within the government of Myanmar and respect the sovereignty of Myanmar.

Abstract

Indonesian (Bahasa) experiences development in its function and position since it is set as the national language in which Indonesia improves the function of Indonesian (Bahasa) as an international language since 2009 by Act No. 24 year of 2009 where in Indonesian (Bahasa) showed has great opportunities and prospects to become an international language in Southeast Asia, which is supported by the number of domestic and foreign speakers of Indonesian and some other aspects. Yet, to make Indonesian as an international language, Indonesian experiences obstacles coming from the country and abroad. In this study, the researcher tried to analyze what the measures of Indonesia are, what the constraints faced by Indonesia in making Indonesian (Bahasa) as an international language in Southeast Asia are, and how Indonesian (Bahasa) to be international language in Southeast Asia are. The method in this research was qualitative method. Most of the data were collected from interviews and literature and supported by the literature and website searches. The study was conducted in the Development and Language Improvement Department, the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia and Indonesian Institute of Sciences The result showed that Indonesian (Bahasa) has great opportunities and prospects to become an international language in Southeast Asia, which is supported by the number of domestic and foreign speakers of Indonesian and some other aspects. Yet, to make Indonesian as an international language, Indonesian experiences obstacles coming from the country and abroad.

Abstract

This study was to determine the role of the World Food Programme (WFP) through the Food For Assets (FFA) in an effort to reduce the potential for food insecurity in West Nusa Tenggara 2008-2010. Researchers analyzed the various efforts made by WFP through the FFA in its efforts to reduce the potential for food insecurity in the region is categorized as having food insecurity in West Nusa Tenggara. Author of the research methods used in this study is qualitative method, aims to describe the facts relating to the problem under study. Most of the data collected through library research, online data retrieval, documentation, and interviews. The data was then analyzed with the theories and concepts in International Relations, among others, The Role of International Organizations, and Non-Traditional Security Issues. The results showed that the WFP has done its role as an international organization that focuses on food issues. WFP is providing food assistance to areas experiencing food insecurity in Indonesia, one of which is the West Nusa Tenggara. Such assistance is implemented in the form of FFA programs and activities to support efforts to reduce the potential for food insecurity in West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how the European Union is a regional organization that is in the European region, has a policy of enlargement, which is a policy where the EU is trying to expand the area of cooperation to do so will be more extensive. Balkan region did not escape the attention of Europe. for this region, the European Union issued a Stabilisation and Association Process (SAP) which merupaka a policy that contains the promise of the EU to the Western Balkan countries for the opportunity to become a member. That's why Kosovo had finally become part of the SAP. After becoming a part of SAP, Kosovo received assistance from the EU as a potential candidate candidate. Program assistance provided by the EU is the IPA program which is a program set up to create a single framework to assist candidate countries and potential countries to join the EU premises. Through this IPA, the EU provides financial assistance to Kosovo to build its economy. This type of research is qualitative. The method used is descriptive analysis techniques. Most of the data collected through literature, as well as the search website. The results of this study indicate that the funds provided by the European Union through the IPA program provided through economy of Kosovo has been quite successful with demonstrated through improvements to the economy of Kosovo, the provision of this assistance has resulted in significant improvements in economic growth and development of Kosovo.

Abstract

Utilization of nuclear energy in many countries is a particular concern for international. This not talk only have a positive impact, but also have a negative impact. The damage of Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, Japan is one example of the negative impacts of the use of nuclear energy. March, 11th 2011, 9.2 magnitude earthquake followed by tsunami has destroyed a nuclear power plant that located on the edge of Japan’s sea. This problem get a special concern for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) because it involves the safety and security of utilizing nuclear energy. The approach of this research is a qualitative; the method is descriptive analyzing technique. Data were collected through library research, website research, and interview. Those data were analyzed by theory approach based on International Relation sciences. Abstract

One of the background case that arise in this research are the drasticaly climate change with frequent drought in NTT province and low food security level so the presence of FAO with Conservation Farming program that is expected to helingp NTT achieve their Food Security. This research aims to describe the role of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) through Conservation Agriculture Program in improving Food Security in East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT), the researcher also intends to know how the implementation process of Conservation Agriculture in NTT Province and to know what are the constraints which FAO faces in the implementation of Conservation Agriculture (CA), and how the progress and plans of the FAO continue after the end of this program.
