Abstract

The rapid increase in student enrollment at the tertiary level in Indonesia in recent years is expected to continue to increase. It is very important for universities to update their educational curricula according to the needs of the latest technology. In the current era, it is very important to include courses that cover the domains of technology, resources, design, implementation, economics, policy and application of the Renewable Energy (RE) system. Currently there is no solid foundation in various universities to provide education and training on new and renewable energy and its long-term benefits. The role of the internet is very vital in education and training in renewable energy. This paper presents the importance of delivering renewable energy education to students at the university level in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kebutuhan air di suatu daerah adalah sangat vital, tanpa air masyarakat sangat kesulitan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup. Karena air menjadi kebutuhan di segala bidang kehidupan. Hal ini juga menjadi permasalahan bagi peneliti terutama pada beberapa daerah di Kabupaten Lamongan yang hingga saat ini masih kesulitan air. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti merencanakan model sistem pendistribusian air dari sumber air yaitu sungai Bengawan Solo ke wilayah daerah kering dengan perencanaan WLC (Water Level Control) yang terdiri dari mikrokontroller, sensor ultrasonik, LCD, relay, dan pompa air. Mikrokontroller merupakan pusat kendali dari seluruh rangkaian, dimana mikrokontroller akan mengambil data yang dikirimkan oleh sensor ultrasonik kemudian ditampilkan oleh LCD. Data yang ditampilkan oleh LCD adalah data ketinggian air.Dalam uji coba water level control dengan sensor ultrasonik pada simulator dengan kapasitas air dengan ketinggian 15 cm, sensor bekerja dengan baik dan memberikan respon kepada pompa untuk mengalirkan air sungai ke embung yang lain berbasis atmega328.

Abstract

Based on development of modern technology of clean water, PDAM Lamongan follows and exerts the sophisticate tools. It helps the employees’ occupation out automatically. It’s a reason that the researcher take one of the fields, namely the automatic water control system which is discuss about work control system. The purpose of this research is in order to processing clean water in PDAM Lamongan by using a microcontroller can be simple and efficient. The first trial by using composer of Prototype components, which are consists of ultrasonic sensors, sensor turbidity meters, LCDs, flowmeter. This trial is in order to ensure that the tools can work and function properly. Based on the trial and analyze the data, the reasons are turbidity meter can worked well which could be shown through an LCD which integrated with Arduino Uno. So, the lowest value was <5NTU and the highest value was> 5NTU. The other sensors, such as ultrasonic sensors, flow meters can be function properly. In the future, those tools are expectable to develop by increasing remote control system to far distance in order to control easily and efficiently

Abstract

The problem in this study is to design the filling control of Calcium Carbonate CaCO3 using a microcontroller-based ultrasonic sensor and how to control charging Calcium Carbonate CaCO3 using an ultrasonic sensor based on a microcontroller. The purpose of this research is to find out the making of tools and work methods for filling Calcium Carbonate CaCO3 using an ultrasonic based microcontroller. In this study using qualitative research methods using data analysis in the field, the experiments with Ultrasonic Sensors HC-SR04, the working principle for detecting Calcium Carbonate CaCO3 with microcontrollers ATMEGA328. Components used: microcontroller, servo motor, LED, LCD, Photodioda. The results of this research test to find out how efficient, so that the filling control device of Calcium Carbonate CaCO3 with the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor can run well, testing is done with miniature trucks entering the filling area then ultrasonic sensors that have a value of 5 cm, the servo motor will opening the valve indicates charging is running. If filling in Calcium Carbonate CaCO3 which enters the truck is 50% volume, and Calcium Carbonate CaCO3 reaches a 9 cm height threshold from the Ultrasonic Sensor, the servo motor will move to cover the valve and the buzzer will ring indicating full charge.

Abstract

Optimization of sensor value work on air humidity to generate renewable energy so that a Sensor Value is needed as a substitute for sunlight in the rainy season. In previous studies, there are several problems such as low sunlight in the resulting rainy season and the operation requires a long time, so one solution to overcome the above problems requires a Value sensor at a temperature of 800 C. In this research, there are two main objectives, namely increasing the efficiency of the system and simplifying the operation method. Increasing efficiency is done with several alternatives, namely minimizing the humidity of the surrounding air so that it can improve the sensor's work, while simplifying the operation is done by adding a value sensor module to adjust the heat focus. In the first stage of mechanization of value rays in the piping system, the second is testing of the sensor to the humidity of the surrounding air. This research will focus on the function of each component such as the heating room temperature sensor, while the main target is to generate heat in the rainy season

Abstract

Pembuatan Alat Pengendali Sistem Kelistrikan Sepeda Motor menggunakan SmartPhone Berbasis Mikrokontroler ATmega328 adalah bertujuan membuat suatu alat pengendali sistem kelistrikan Sepeda Motor yang dapat mengendalikan sistem kelistrikan pada sepeda motor, dan dapat menjadi cadangan kunci motor dengan mudah, efesien, praktis dalam penggunaan untuk dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan dalam mengendalikan Sepeda Motor tanpa harus melalui Kunci Motor. Alat ini akan bekerja setelah perangkat bluetooth yang ada pada smartphone terhubung dengan modul bluetooth yang ada pada Alat Pengendali Sistem Kelistrikan Sepeda Motor Menggunakan SmartPhone. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan Alat Pengendali Sistem Kelistrikan Sepeda Motor Menggunakan SmartPhone Berbais Mikrokontroler ini adalah tediri dari beberapa tahap yaitu Identifikasi Kebutuhan, Analisis Kebutuhan, Perancangan Perangkat Keras dan Perangkat Lunak, Pembuatan Alat, dan Pengujian Alat, Perangkat keras terdiri dari Sistem minimum ATmega328 sebagai pengendali utama, Smartphone android sebagai media pengendalian, Module bluetooth sebagai media penghubung. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Alat Pengendali Sistem Kelistrikan Sepeda Motor Menggunakan SmartPhone ini dapat bekerja sesuai dengan prinsip kerja yang dirancang.

Abstract

Pada umumnya para peternak ayam masih menggunakan sistim konvensional untuk member makan ayam - ayam yang dipelihara. Mereka menggunakan tangan untuk menaburkan pakan pada wadah pakan dan berjalan sepanjang kandang yang mana kandang ayam yang di ternakan sangatlah luas. Kegiatan seperti itu bagi peternak ayam akan menyita waktu dan tenaga. Dari permasalahan di atas, muncul suatu pemikiran untuk membuat sebuah alat khusus untuk kandang ayam yang dapat mengendalikan suhu, kelembaban dan pakan secara otomatis berbasis ATMega328. Alat ini menggunakan sensor DHT11 yang berfungsi sebagai pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban yang ada di dalam kandang ayam. Lampu untuk penerangan dan meningkatkan suhu dalam ruang kandang. Jika suhu melebihi 30oC, maka blower aktif untuk mengeluarkan suhu dalam kandang yang berlebihan. Sedangkan untuk meningkatkan kelembaban menggunakan mist maker yang mengeluarkan uap air dan mist maker akan off jika kelembaban di atas 65%. Pemberian pakan ayam dapat di permudah menggunakan motor servo sebagai pintu pemberi pakan ayam yang bekerja di atur oleh sensor photo dioda yang terkoneksi dengan cahaya infra merah.

Abstract

The wind diesel system is greatly influenced by the wind speed and which is then combined with the diesel engine. Optimization of wind-diesel systems is needed to get good frequency quality and optimal power. The optimal setting of the gain and time constant on the Load Frequency Control (LFC) causes the frequency stability to be weak. In practice, the wind-diesel system is controlled by a PID controller and Fuzzy Logic Controller. At present the gain value setting of the PID is still in the conventional method, so it is difficult to get the optimal value. In this study the control design is applied by using the Smart Method in finding the optimum Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) based on Bat Algorithm (BA). For comparison, the method is used without a control method, conventional PID method, PID auto tune matlab method, PID-BA method, and PID-BA-ANFIS. Wind-diesel modeling uses the transfer function of wind turbine and diesel diagrams. From the results of research that has been done shows that the smallest undershoot on PID-BA-ANFIS, the smallest overshot on PID-BA-ANFIS, and the fastest settling time is equal to PID-BA-ANFIS. This research can later be continued using other artificial intelligence methods.

Abstract

In this study the electricity network discussed was a very simple electricity network using Matlab. Matlab makes it easy for users to find assistance in connection with all the facilities provided by Matlab. For example, help on how to start Matlab for the first time, programming tricks, creating 2 and 3-dimensional graphics, using data acquisition tools, signal processing, solving partial differential equations. Power grid problems can be solved using elementary line operations and besides being solved by using elementary line operations, electricity networks can also be solved using inverse matrix

Abstract

Information technology is very environmentally friendly. As a result, the use of e-learning platforms as a medium in renewable energy education is a creative method to empower teaching for students and researchers to take action for sustainable development. This article provides a comparison of several existing e-learning platforms for energy education learning media.E-learning platforms such as Energy University and Power Energy Lab E-learning and others are presented and qualitative comparisons between platforms are made. Generally, they use dynamic websites which are developed manually or they use a Content Management System. They provide a variety of teaching materials, although, there are other, more effective and tailored ways to learn in a distance learning environment. This article also highlights a vision of an applied e-learning platform, based on a study on renewable energy in Indonesia. In this context, a detailed selection is made among the various open source platforms to select the one that best fits the training environment and vision. As a result, choices were made on the Moodle platform
