Abstract

This study aims to determine the development process and practicality of mathematics learning media with measurement materials (time, angle, distance and speed) in producing products in the form of android-based mathematics learning media through the ISpring application for Class V at SD Ganggantingan Kab. Lamongan. This research is motivated by students' interest in smartphones rather than teacher explanations in the classroom and the lack of student activity in participating during the learning process. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) by going through the stages of the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, evaluation. Instruments used Questionnaire sheets consist of three types, namely questionnaires for material experts, media experts, students and teachers. Analysis of the data in this study in the form of descriptive analysis of the quality of learning media development with measurement materials. The results of the study show that the assessment of Smart NoteBook with time, distance and speed measurement materials is as follows: For the assessment carried out by material experts, the percentage is 84% in the very valid category, while the assessment carried out by media experts is 90% in the very valid category. . For practicality trials, this learning media obtained an average of 45.6 in the range of 40.8 < R 50.4 so it was categorized as practical. So it can be said that the learning media based on the Smart NoteBook Digital Mathematics can be used for class V Elementary School.

Abstract

Parental engagement in guiding children to study at home and the use of technology in home-school partnerships are necessary during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our case study described the experience of a career mother who lived away from her family in collaborating with her child’s school, and how technology can be used in that collaboration. We found that technology offered benefits to her, such as intensive distance communication with her child, reviewing her child’s learning remotely, and allowing communication with her child’s school. However, challenges such as the school’s attitude in supporting parental engagement, the lack of openness of the school to receive input from parents, and school unpreparedness to adapt to technology were visible. Yanti attempted to overcome the challenges by intensely asking teachers and the child and initiating to build a group of parents. Although she also employed a private tutor to keep her child on track, this approach might weaken parent-school collaboration as the parents did not rely too much on school anymore. Therefore, to establish strong home-school partnerships, the school might adjust the school culture by providing complete student learning updates, welcoming any parents’ input, and adapting to the digital era by optimizing technology.

Abstract

The fundamental problem in this study is that there are still teachers who work less than optimally. This can be seen from the existence of teachers who still apply conventional learning, where teachers still apply the lecture method, this is not in line with the demands of the 2013 curriculum where students are required to be more active and creative in learning compared to the teacher. This problem needs to be overcome by knowing students' perceptions of teacher competence. Through student perceptions, a teacher can determine the level of competence he has. By knowing the level of competence that a teacher has, he can increase the competence of students. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, namely describing students' perceptions of the competence of mathematics teachers at the high school level. The focus of this research is students' perceptions of personality competence, pedagogic competence, professional competence, and social competence of mathematics teachers in high school. The subjects of this study were students at SMA Negeri 1 Gowa who were outstanding. The research instrument was the researcher himself because the researcher himself planned what was asked of the research subject in the interview. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, mastery tests, and interviews conducted with research subjects. This study uses triangulation techniques with data analysis techniques carried out using comparative analysis.

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu pendidikan diukur dari kemampuan peserta didik bersaing di dunia kerja; mampu mengaktualisasikan ilmunya dalam dunia nyata; mempunyai skill dan dapat diterima di masyarakat. Penerapan kurikulum merdeka saat ini, mendorong guru lebih kreatif dalam menyajikan pembelajaran dan mengetahui kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Guru dan peserta didik bekerjasama untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang sudah dicantumkan pada tujuan instruksional. Proses pembelajaran saat ini berpusat pada peserta didik (students center learning). Guru bukanlah satu-satunya sumber ilmu, tetapi peserta didik harus mampu menemukan sendiri pengetahuannya melalui bimbingan guru. Daya saing yang semakin tinggi menuntut guru memiliki keterampilam yang beragam. Untuk itu, guru dituntut mampu memahami segala kebutuhan dan karaktersitik peserta didiknya, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan baik. Agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan baik, terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan yakni kognitif, behaviours dan kondisi peserta didik. Selain itu, yang tidak kalah pentingnya adalah implementasi model desain pembelajaram merupakan proses yang sistematis dan menyeluruh serta menjadi perhatian awal dalam perencanaan pembelajaran. Dalam perencanaan pembelajaran guru perlu memerhatikan materi yang akan diberikan pada peserta didik. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sistem pertidaksamaan linier dua variabel. Tujuan penelitian ini guru diharapkan mampu mendesain pembelajaran yang menarik sehingga peserta didik tidak merasa bosan dan kesulitan dalam melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is to find out student learning outcomes using GeoGebra media on spatial geometry material. This type of research is classroom action research whose subject is class XII IPS MAN Aceh Barat Daya with 39 students. The technique used in this study is the results of student tests. This research was carring out in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. To find out student learning outcomes before the test is carring out. During the pre-cycle, only 9 students completed (23%), and 30 students did not complete (77%). In cycle I, there were 25 students who had completed grades (64,1%) and 14 students who did not completed (35,9%). In cycle II, there were 34 students who had completed grade (87,18%) and only 5 students who did not completed (12,82%) with average 84. The results of this study indicate that learning using GeoGebra media can improve student learning outcomes.
