Abstract

The pedosphere is a combination of 2 words, namely the word pedo which means soil and sphera which means layer. The pedosphere is commonly referred to as the soil layer that is studied in high school. In this case, the researcher conducted research at SMA Negeri 5 Palu, which usually only used 2-dimensional images and theories in books to study the soil layers because of the lack of teaching aids. The purpose of this study is to help educators or students in the teaching and learning process recognize the soil layers by making an Augmented Reality (AR) technology application that can be used in all Android-based Smartphones. This application requires a marker to display a 3-dimensional object regarding the soil layer. The research method used by the researcher is the multimedia development method developed by Luther which is divided into 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collection, manufacture, testing and distribution. In the process of making the application, the researcher uses the Vuforia software as a marker database, Blender to create 3-dimensional objects and Unity as the application maker. The results of application testing on 47 respondents, namely 52% stated strongly agree, 36.2% agree, 10.5% quite agree, 1.1% disagree and 0.1% disagree.

Abstract

Bali is a tourist destination in Indonesia that makes the country known to the world community. Currently, tourists are facing problems with information about bali tour packages and access to accommodation. Making this application using Visual Studio Code Programming as a website page, using PHP to design a dynamic website, using CSS to control the appearance of the website, and using a MySQL database as the database. The results of this Information System study can provide complete information about Bali tour packages and accommodations. By using the User Centered Design (UCD) method, the interface displays that focus on a user's needs. The results of the design of an interface are page menus, tour package menus, hotel list menus, contact menus, and login menus. Based on the results of descriptive analysis tests assisted by the Statistical Product Service and Solutions computer program as an effort to determine the response of www.baliaset.com users involving 100 samples, it was found that the highest mean was obtained in the 8th statement item of 4.50 and the lowest mean was obtained. in the third statement item is 4.13

Abstract

One of the well-known software with high quality content delivery standards is Flash Player. Flash Player has a wide user base, with over 90% internet penetration on connected computers. Since December 31, 2021 Adobe announced that Adobe Flash Player is no longer supported and Adobe has also blocked Flash content from running on browsers so that users can no longer experience the advantages of Flash Player. a player allowed by the browser. Based on these problems, a solution is needed so that Flash Player can run in the browser, namely by building an NVR server using ShinobiCE. Through this research, an Open-Source-based NVR server was built using ShinobiCE so that CCTV can accommodate more with maximum resolution quality and the results of streaming links that can be used for live browser streams.

Abstract

Aphasia is a disorder of the brain that causes sufferers to have difficulty communicating. In diagnosing this disorder, a TADIR test is needed. The TADIR test is actually a diagnostic tool that is carried out manually so it takes a long time to get the results, therefore in this study an application was created to shorten the diagnostic time while saving data automatically into the database so that treatment can be done faster. The stages in this research start from the identification of the problem, which then collects data and continues with the design and manufacture of applications, after the application the last stage is testing and reporting. In designing this application, a MySQL storage system is used which is already integrated with the application. The result of this study is an information system in the form of an aphasia diagnosis test application that can make diagnosis time efficient by 72% compared to using the manual method.

Abstract

In general, students have the responsibility to complete their studies at a university. For students of the Satya Wacana Christian University Faculty of Information Technology, which every year there are more and more students, the world of work is currently required to become someone who masters the field of technology. In addition, as a student, there are many things that must be done to complete studies by participating in activities on campus, organizations, and being active in the teaching and learning process so that they can complete their studies on time. In this study, a predictive analysis of SWCU FTI students will be conducted on timely graduation using the decision tree data mining method. which will see students who graduate on time and graduate late using the decision tree algorithm which is a decision tree algorithm that has a high level of accuracy in large amounts of data. In this study, the decision tree algorithm was used to run 983 sample data, resulting in a match accuracy of 91.25%. This means that it is very good and effective in predicting student graduation

Abstract

Storytelling is one way for an individual to share feelings and emotions with others. By telling stories, a person can get validation for their feelings so they don't feel isolated. In this research, a system is created to share stories using a system built on the Android Operating System and will be in the form of a Chat application. The method used in this research is Waterfall method and uses black box testing for system testing. The Database that will support the system to be built is Firebase which is directly integrated with the system created. The result of this research is an Android application that can be used by anyone and anywhere.

Abstract

Anatomy is the study of the structure of the body and the relationship of its parts to one another. Studying human anatomy is mandatory for students of the Faculty of Medicine, especially Medical Education. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted by the author on students of the Faculty of Medicine, some students stated that they did not understand studying human anatomy only by reading anatomy books such as Sobotta's Atlas of Human Anatomy, Yokochi's Color Atlas of Anatomy, practicum modules. This gave rise to the idea to design an android-based smartphone application using Augmented Reality technology for interactive learning media. Making AR smartphone applications using Unity and Vuforia software with C# programming language. The result of this research is to develop an interactive learning media application of a 3D human skull using augmented reality technology. Interactive learning media provide convenience for students in studying the anatomy of the human skull

Abstract

FDW Store is an online store that sells services to meet the needs of users' games and lives. FDW Store sells services such as credit for all operators, Online Game Top Up, Payment Point Online BankĀ  (PPOB). The problem that occurs in FDW Store business owners is that they do not have a proper FDW Store application display design and have been tested if they want to be built into an application that is ready to use. Based on these problems, the solution is to design the UI/UX of the mobile-based FDW Store E-Commerce Application using the Lean UX method because this method has the advantage of a fast success rate and also focuses on understanding the experience of the product to be made. This study resulted in the design of the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) for the FDW Store E-Commerce application which is useful as a reference for business owners in building an application.

Abstract

In the era of information technology development as it is now needed a platform such as a website or application to facilitate the process and also activities on an activity or job. One of the activities in question is the existence of room management, when there is a loan of space to carry out meetings or socialization. In the process of borrowing this room there are still a lot of agencies that still use the system manually so that the level of efficiency is still low and less meet. In designing this system, the authors conducted a case study at the Department of Education Salatiga as a place of borrowing meeting rooms and socialization. If the agency has a website that is made to facilitate the process related to borrowing space, then later the agency is no longer needed to come to the Department of Education Salatiga. For that the author tries to design a system in order to facilitate the agencies in the process of borrowing space. And the selection of the web application platform is chosen to make it easier for agencies to use this service without having to install applications that will usually take up memory on the device and can be accessed anywhere by the user, in this web design researchers use Code Igniter software with PHP programming language.. In this study the method used the method used to analyze the problems in this study using the method of PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, Service). This information system is built to improve the management process of borrowing space more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is growing rapidly, schools provide the internet for learning activities by accessing educational content that has been created by schools through online learning media. SMP Stella Matutina Salatiga as a case study place, in learning activities using online learning media is not optimal because many school residents use the internet to access social media. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to manage internet bandwidth by implementing the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method. This bandwidth distribution aims to facilitate learning activities, where bandwidth will be prioritized for online learning media. By dividing the bandwidth using the HTB method, the bandwidth is more organized. The results of the test were carried out by measuring the QoS parameters using video streaming services and interactive services which experienced an increase in network quality after the HTB method was applied, it was marked by a decrease in the average value of jitter, delay, and packet loss, which means the throughput obtained is greater. The application of the HTB method is of course learning to use online learning media to be more optimal.
