Abstract

The case of peat fires has became a serious problem in Indonesia. It?s impact of peatland fires was felt to the public. One technique to prevent the impact of these problems is try to analyze the pattern of the movement direction so that the smoke peatland can be a form of early prevention solutions. HYSPLIT model is one of technique to analyze the pattern of trajectories based on the meteorological conditions in the region. Fuzzy C-Means clustering is used for providing better result than the cluster of other techniques such as k-means. Based on cluster processing using fuzzy c-means formed fom the value of partition entropy of 0.4554 and partition coefficient of 0.7057, from these factors produce 2 clusters. The results that produce 2 clusters which in the first cluster, smoke peatland fires is at an altitude of 15.89 m AGL and second cluster that the smoke from peatland fires is at an altitude of 135.81 m AGL. Than, the smoke haze has moved to Malaysia, of course the smoke haze is dangerous for societies

Abstract

Virtual community is one of the most used platforms to share knowledge. Virtualcommunity usually composed by people who shared vision or specialty in certain aspect. This paper is systematic literature review using PRISMA. The goals of this papers is to find what is the driving factor of the people to share their knowledge in this kind of community. The end result of this papers is driving factors which can be used to create knowledge sharing model in virtual community.

Abstract

Face recognition using artificial intelligence has extensive usage. A facial image can be used as face-unlock on mobile devices, biometrics on attendance systems, and auto-tagging images on social media. However, the face is one of the most challenging objects to be modeled as it is affected by the age, lighting, location of image capture, orientation, pose, and expression. Face images can be decomposed to take out the main components (on low frequency) to be an identifier. The image decomposition process can be done using Wavelet transform. This study use Neural Probabilistic Network (PNN) method to classify the facial images based on Wavelet feature extraction. The aims of this study is to implement the PNN classification method and Wavelet feature extraction to build a facial image classification model. The wavelet decomposition levels used in the study are levels 2 to 6. Meanwhile, the K-Fold Cross Validation method is used to split the data into training data and test data. The total of facial images used is 800 images, consist of 40 individuals with 20 individual images per person. The facial image data was downloaded from the University of Essex, United Kingdom. This study showed that an enhancement accuracy along with the increased Wavelet decomposition levels from 2 to 5. The best accuracy was obtained using Wavelet decomposition level 5, which was 97.25%. Whereas on Wavelet decomposition level 6 the was an accuracy reduction of 1.88% to become 95.37%.

Abstract

Investigation of the soybeans disease motivates the need for a programmed detection system. Automated detection using a vision system and pattern recognition are implemented to detect the symptoms of nutrient diseases and also to classify the disease group. Research before the show that disease recognizing can be conducted with a classification such as Suppor Vector Machine. Reminding, one of the advantages of Support Vector Machine, is able to increase performance on generalization with choosing the exact kernel function, thus on this research would like to find out which kernel function appropriate to the classification problem on soybeans disease using two kinds of the kernel function, Radial Basis Function (RBF) and Linear. Based on the performance result conducted with soybeans dataset, both of them can work well on a classification problem. However, from both function kernel, Radial Basis Function (RBF) classify better than the other with an accuracy of 83% of correct classification

Abstract

Facilities for students' activities in actively developing their competencies are very difficult to find and implement their ideas, and moreover to be aware in applying their strategies, so students do not have the life skills as independent people. This type of research is actions that occur in class using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method. The purpose of this study is to explore the benefits of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method in improving learning outcomes in drawing construction in SMK. Data collection techniques carried out through interviews, documentation, and observation methods. Analysis of the data to be used in this research is descriptive percentages. The results of the study concluded that the learning strategy with the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method can improve student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the first cycle-assessment on the initial ability task with an average value of 33.15 and the first cycle assignment with an average of 40.21 then an increase in the second cycle with an average of 80.36. The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method can be used as an alternative method of learning in class so that learning activities can run more effectively in construction drawing lessons and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Keberadaan sosial media pada dewasa ini menjadi trend dimasyarakat luas, bahkan berlaku seperti layaknya kebutuhan hidup yang harus dipenuhi. Beberapa tahun terakhir penggunaan sosial mendia merebak sangat luas tanpa terkecuali, dimanfaatkan oleh konsumen dewasa bahkan anak-anak. Sementara permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah merebaknya tulisan-tulisan yang berbau negatif dan berdampak buruk bagi psikis pembacanya, terutama anak-anak. Di berbagai momen dan situasi selalu muncul berita-berita yang terkait dengannya namun bermunculan pula komentar-komentar negatif yang sangat memungkinkan untuk menggiring opini para pembacanya, maka perlu adanya penanggulangan dan pengidentifikasian sejak dini terhadap komentar komentar negatif yang dimungkinkan untuk penggiringan opini pembacanya. Maka dari itu penelitian ini berupaya menganalisis konten negatif yang ada pada sosial media twitter berbahasa Indonseia. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan upaya mengklasifikasi tweet yang berisi komentar negatif dan positif menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes Classifier. Sementara metode Naïve Bayes classifier dikombinasikan dengan fitur yang dihitung bobotnya menggunakan TF-IDF. Klasifikasi tweet pada penelitian ini terdiri dari kelas sentiment negatif dan positif. Hasil pengujian pada penelitian didapatkan dengan menggunakan tools RapidMiner yang memperlihatkan bahwa akurasi klasifikasi dengan ditambahkan fitur TF-IDF menghasilkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 55.80%.

Abstract

Aplikasi mobile merupakan sebuah media yang sangat pesat pertumbuhannya dalam teknologi informasi. Kebutuhan teknologi yang tinggi, mobile application menjadi sebuah aplikasi yang banyak dipakai oleh semua user smartphone dengan platform iOS dan Android. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi mobile dibutuhkan tahapan perancangan prototype user interface. Perancangan prototype user interface aplikasi mobile sistem informasi akademik Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Bank BRI memiliki tujuan untuk memudahkan mobile developer dalam mengembangan aplikasi mobile serta diharapkan dapat meningkatkan user experience dalam human computer interaction pada penggunaan mobile application sistem informasi akademik.

Abstract

Jaringan wireless merupakan sekumpulan komputer yang saling terhubung antara satu dengan lainnya sehingga terbentuk sebuah jaringan computer menggunakan media sinyal radio. Teknologi ini merupakan perkembangan yang memungkinkan efisiensi dalam implementasi dan pengembangan jaringan komputer karena dapat meningkatkan mobilitas user dan mengingat keterbatasan dari teknologi jaringan komputer menggunakan media kabel apabila terdapat tempat ? tempat yang sulit dijangkau. WDS merupakan sistem untuk mengembangkan jaringan internet wireless tanpa harus menggunakan kabel sebagai backbone untuk access point melainkan memanfaatkan jalur wireless dari access point tersebut. Dengan Wireless Distribution System (WDS) maka user ketika sudah terkoneksi ke jaringan ketika berpindah dari tempat satu ke tempat lannya tidak perlu melakukan koneksi berulang-ulang karena masih dalam cakupan sinyal wireless yang sama. Tujuan dari kegiatan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan jaringan Wireless Distribution System (WDS) dan untuk melakukan analisis performa jaringan Wireless Distribution System (WDS) dengan metode Quality Of Service (QoS) pada proses koneksi wireless hotspot ketika pengguna melakukan pindah lokasi dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya maka tidak mengalami putus koneksi.

Abstract

Data services are the core business of the services of Institution A. Providing reliable data quality is the company's top priority. Data governance is important in striving for good data quality so that data is not duplicated, accurate, valid, and can be accessed at any time. At present, there is no official data governance at institution A. For this reason, an analysis data governance maturity in institution A. An assessment and analysis of the components of formalization, awareness and management, which includes the dimensions of people, policies and technology. This activity aims to determine the level of maturity of data governance, conduct gap analysis, and provide recommendations on data governance initiatives. The method used is to assess the maturity level of data governance, designing questionnaires, distributing questionnaires, and in-depth interviews. The standard referred to is the Standford Data Governance maturity, which is then adjusted to the conditions of the organization. The results of this study are the analysis of the maturity of data governance and recommendations for data governance initiatives to achieve expected conditions.
