Al Mishbah Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah dan Komunikasi is an academic peer-reviewed journal that publishes the latest issues in the field of dawah and communication, including areas of dawah discourse, such as Islamic counseling and the development of Islamic societies. Since 2012, the journal has been published regularly twice in one year June and December. Abstract

This paper deals with the development of Jama'ah Tabligh's da'wah management in guiding Muslim community from isolated ethnic group in Subdistrict of Palasa, District of Parigi- Moutong. This study used an analysis of a science of da'wah. Jama'ah Tabligh's management of da'wah refers to modern management that includes planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating. From this concept, the principles of management are developed which include forecasting, planning, organizing, decision making, actuating, communicating, coordinating, centralization, motivating, controlling, budgeting, evaluatingand reporting, and so on. This becomes a reference, and will be developed into elements of da'wah conducted by Jama'ah Tabligh. These elements are developed into the model of travelling for the sake of Allah (khuruj fi sabilillah), which include activity at the site ('amal maqami) and moving activity ('amal intiqali). Both activities are made as a model for guiding both individuals and societ.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper to analyze the communication headmaster duties and functions of leadership in the religious character building of students. Qualitative methods used scrutinize the meaning of the study contains analysis techniques of data reduction, data display and data verification. This paper has resulted in findings; First, communication headmaster leadership in carrying out duties effectively develop the religious character of learners. Second;religious character values ​​developed in the private learners were devout religious practices, mutual respect, social care, have an attitude of individual learning motivation and collaboration, and to produce an honest attitude, creative, responsible and inclusive on a private learners.

Abstract

Islam is one of the divine religions that emphasizes the importance of da’wah (Islamic preaching) activities. Therefore, da'wah becomes one of the activities of every Muslim in his life. Da’wah can be done through various ways and media, both visual and audio visual, such as television and others. Television is very effective in delivering content of da’wah, because in this modern era television has been entering in almost all the homes of the people as audiences of da’wah. The most important is to display the right content with competent speakers, and with the right program or event as well. In this case, Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) Central Sulawesi created a program called Lentera Hati. This is a program of Islamic da’wah that is broadcasted on every Thursday at 20.00 pm. The content is delivered through the presentation of the material by a competent speaker. Thus, the goal of da’wah to the people of Central Sulawesi as audiences can be achieved.

Abstract

There are three phases of the spread and development of Islam in Palu: mythological, ideological and scientific phases. In this paper, the figures of these three phases will be discussed. At this phase, the approach of Muslim scholars (ulama is to show natural symbols in spreading and teaching Islam. Spiritual power becomes a key of the success of ulama. There are three ulama who play a role in a mythological phase, Abdullah Raqi "Datuk Karama", a son of Minangkabau coming to Palu in 1650. He was followed by Pue Imbatu "Syekh Lokiya", a native Muslim scholar, and then followed by Daeng Konda "Pue Bulangisi", a noble man who is popular with his teaching "karaeng". This teaching refers to a leading figure Syekh Yusuf Tuanta Salamaka Tajul Khalwati, a national hero of South Africa and Indonesia

Abstract

This study examines the strategies and content of da`wah Basalamah’s in online video sharing media, Youtube. The video content reviewed is the video uploaded on the official Khalid Basalamah Official account in July 2017. Based on the analysis with the content analysis approach, this article shows that Khalid Basalamah is very active in disseminating his da`wah content via Youtube by uploading, at least, one video content in one day. The contents of Basalamah’s lectures uploaded in July 2017 put forward the themes of theology, apocalypse, morals, repentance, loyalty, patience, and apologize to others. No content touches the subject of sharia and dealings (mu’āmalah). Studies of preaching on Youtube media need to be developed, considering that preaching through the media is very popular among dai in Indonesia nowadays.

Abstract

As social beings, people always need another people to meet their needs. Therefore, an interaction with other individuals occures in the community. The community can be said as gathering of individuals who do mutual interaction and influence between those to each other. Through the group, people can meet all their needs. In order that group members can exchange information, a tool is needed to connect them, that is, communication through which people can interact, get to khow each other, express what is in their midns to others, as well as they can reach an understanding so that all needs can be met.

Abstract

Indonesia is a nation that has various religions. Therefore, tolerance is essential to build a harmonious society. However, tolerance is not about faith, but social encounters. Cultural and religious differences must be an inspiration in building a nation to continue the ideals of the the founding fathers of this nation. Pancasila, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, NKRI, the 1945 Constitution is a fixed price that cannot be changed because it is the result of the agreement of the entire Indonesian people that must be maintained. To ensure the continuity of the Indonesian nation, the awareness of all religious people is needed to maintain it, because each religion teaches brotherhood, cooperation, affection, and tolerance in life. The difference is law of nature (sunnatullah) as evidence of the power of God, not leading into a conflict

Abstract

Social conflict that has occurred in the District of Sigi cannot be separated from the withering of social values that have become the foundation of society so far in the same group, culture, ethnic group, religion, and social values. This similarity does not guarantee that people can live in peace and harmony. Therefore, communication is needed to spread Islamic values to community in order that social conflict between people of villages in Sigi can be avoided. This in turn can lead to building peace and social integration based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This article discusses the dakwah method of the Indonesian Young Dai Association (IDMI) of Palu in fostering and developing the religiosity aspects of the community of Palu. Coaching is carried out to its members as well as to the general public. In carrying out its missionary activities, IDMI applied a variety of methods in fostering Muslim communities through recitation groups that were held regularly, ta’līm assemblies for women, as well as recitals held at the commemoration of Islamic holidays. Observation of da`wah activities and interviews with the preachers affiliated with IDMI showed that this institution had an excellent opportunity in carrying out community religious development in Palu. The enthusiasm of the community to take part in the recitations organized by IDMI and the dakwah material that is inclusive provides the possibility for this institution to act as a unifying node in the heterogeneous community of Palu.

Abstract

All dakwah activities can be regarded as a process of social transformation in creating fundamentally a better society. Dakwah (Islamic preaching) is the command of Allah to mankind for carrying out a social transormation for the sake of the man himself. The strategy includes giving birth to transformative forces either in the weak people who do not get benefit from the structure, or the creators of the structure, while the agenda includes the need to establish a clear vision and pradigm of social change; that is, first, creating a room that provides an opportuunity to do self-actualization under the pressure of unjust structures and systems; second, the need to fundamentally revise the approaches and mthodologies of existing practices during this mission, including revisiting the themes of dakwah, methods of training and research in the preparation of human resources in dakwah activities.
