Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang pertama kali terbit tahun 2010 (mulai edisi 30 Juli 2010). Jurnal ini resmi dimulai berdasarkan SK no. 0005.103/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2010.07 Tanggal 30 Juli 2010. Penerbit FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. Frekuensi terbitan 6 bulanan atau 2 kali dalam setahun. Tingang adalah sejenis burung khas Kalimantan Tengah (Borneo). Gambar burung tingang terdapat pada logo Universitas Palangka Raya. Burung Tingang (enggang) melambangkan pencarian/penelitian ilmu dalam kebebasan, kedekatan dengan alam dan lingkungan. Kanderang adalah suara keras dari burung tingang. Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang merupakan sarana untuk menyuarakan hasil pencarian/penelitian ilmu pendidikan. Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to assess the feasibility of biology teaching materials (learning modules) in the Scientific Method material for class X SMA This study uses a quasi-experimental method. The research design uses a one group pretest-posttest design. Test the effectiveness of the module using a one group pretest-posttest design only which involves 54 students of class X MIPA class of 2022/2023. Observations made at Pangkalan Bun 2 Public High School in biology subjects, it was found that the scientific method material contained misconceptions so researchers needed to develop teaching materials related to the scientific method. The feasibility of the material in teaching materials (learning modules) is evaluated at three stages of development, namely initial investigation, curriculum analysis, concept analysis, and at the same time this research also ensures the feasibility of the modules that have been developed. The results of the pretest and posttest analysis given to the treatment class showed an increase in the completeness score of 66.67%. The class given the implementation of the scientific method module experienced an increase in value from 11.11% to 77.78%. Data analysis using N- Gain shows the class where the scientific method module is implemented shows an N-Gain score of 0.32 which indicates a medium category n-Gain value, even though the N-Gain effectiveness category obtained shows a percentage of 52.56% indicating less effective . This shows that the biology module material for scientific method is quite feasible to use.

Abstract

Interactive digital media based on android application eLEMA (Electronic Learning Material) is the implementation of distance education through online internet networks, a solution for effective teaching and learning activities (KBM). Supporting Ecosystem Material, especially Peat Swamp Forest Ecosystems, which are still minimal. Development research using the Research and Development (R&D) model of Hannafin and Peck consists of 3 phases Analysis, Design, Develop/Implementation. The results of eLEMA-based digital teaching materials research produce products in the form of RPS, teaching materials, material supplements and LKM have fulfilled the components as learning devices and can be used in the learning process. Based on the results of validation from material experts, media experts and student responses with good criteria and feasible to use. The eLEMA application makes it easy for students to access materials online and offline

Abstract

This research is to reveal the conception of learning in a psychological and Islamic perspective, learning is a process activity and is a very fundamental element in every type and level of education organizing activity. This means that the success or failure of achieving educational goals is very dependent on the learning process experienced by students, both when they are at school or in their own home or family environment. Learning theory is a pragmatic and eclectic theory. A theory with this nature is almost certainly never extreme. There is no learning theory that pays extreme attention to students only, teachers only, curriculum only, and so on. This research approach is through qualitative methods using library data without statistical data as in the quantitative method, so that its activities are often referred to as library research. In general, the results of this study prove that the cognitive view sees learning as something active. They take the initiative to find experience to learn, seek information to solve problems, rearrange and organize what already exists, whereas in an Islamic perspective, learning is an obligation for every Muslim in order to acquire knowledge and knowledge so that the level of his life increases. This is stated in the Qur'an surah al-Mujadilah verse 11 Allah will exalt those who believe among you and those who are given knowledge of several degrees. Science in this case is of course in the form of knowledge that is relevant to the demands of the times and is beneficial to human life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, utilization, and maintenance of instructional media in SDN 2 Samba bakumpai. The research is a qualitative research design with phenomenology. Sources in the research is the principal and teachers at SDN 2 Samba bakumpai. Data collection technique were interview, observation and documentation. Analysis of data using an interactive model. This study has three outcomes. (1) Planning the learning media is an inventory of types of instructional media, merelevansikan media teaching materials, confirming media with other teachers or friends of the group, preparing a book support package from the government, and pour the planned use of the media in the learning device; (2) The use of instructional media is able to show a medium of learning makes the students more easily understand the teaching materials, instructional media were able to show increasing curiosity about the new sciences, capable of showing the learning media help teachers explain the learning material, and be able to demonstrate learning media reduces verbal learning theory; (3) Maintenance of instructional media is keeping the medium of learning material or objects in special cabinets, learning media in the form of a file stored on the computer, non-academic learning media such as marching band and tambourine are stored in a special room, and the media is damaged beyond repair maintenance direct teachers or experts .

Abstract

Increasing fuel consumption efficiency is a challenge in the development of choppers machine. Multiple testing procedures must be performed in order to improve. aims to evaluate the performance of automobiles running on fuel that meets RON 90 and 92 requirements. The test is performed three times with a consistent angle of cut of 10 degrees at an engine speed of 2,700 rpm.The duration of the combustion engine's operation has an impact on fuel usage. The average consumption difference between the 1800 and 1200 second tests utilizing the cutting load at RON 90 is up to 2% better. With the same amount of time as the prior test, the RON 92 testing showed a 0.5% improvement in fuel efficiency. Speed increases result in more thorough combustion, thus reduces fuel usage. High chopping speeds can be used by users to improve fuel economy.

Abstract

The implementation of the discovery learning model is that students are able to construct their own knowledge that they must master through 6 (six) stages of learning discovery, namely: (i) stimulation; (ii) problem statements; (iii) data collection;(iv) data processing; (v) verification; (vi) generalization. In its application, students need a study guide to be able to carry out discovery learning activities independently to obtain new knowledge, this research aims to produce a Student Worksheet (LKS) as a learning guide in learning salt hydrolysis with a discovery learning model in class XI high school students. The development of LKS was carried out by adapting the 4-D development model (define, design, d evelop, disseminate) from Thiagarajan. The resulting LKS products are assessed for feasibility using professional judgement by involving chemists, pedagogists, and learning media experts. The revised LKS product based on expert input is then tested for readability by potential users. Furthermore, LKS is implemented on a limited basis in chemistry learning in schools to determine its effectiveness in guiding discovery learning activities and improving students' understanding of the concept of salt hydrolysis. The limited implementation trial was carried out using a pre-experimental design of the One-Shot Case Study model involving 69 high school students in Palangka Raya city. The results showed that the LKS developed was suitable for use with a feasibility value of 92.45%. The effectiveness of LKS in guiding students to carry out discovery learning activities is in the very good category with an average of 97.75% and LKS is effective in improving students' mastery of the concept of salt hydrolysis by obtaining an average N-Gain score of 0.89.

Abstract

The problem found in this study is the difficulty of students in thinking critically. This study aims to determine the ability to think critically in the process of discussing history in class X IPS 1 at MAN 1 Bantul, the efforts of teachers to improve critical thinking skills in discussions, and the obstacles faced by teachers and students in increasing critical thinking in discussions. 1) Based on the results of data obtained from 30 students of class X IPS 1 students' critical thinking skills have the highest score on the persistence indicator of 70.67% in the medium category, the solution indicator is 69.33% in the medium category, logical reasoning indicators, evaluation arguments, and decision making by 68.67% in the medium category, collaboration indicators by 68% in the medium category, information analysis indicators by 67.33% in the medium category, problem identification indicators and argument indicators by 66.67% in the medium category, creativity indicator of 61.33% with low category. 2) the teacher's effort to improve students' critical thinking in history learning is to use the presentation method followed by discussion. 3) Obstacles faced by students of class X IPS 1 MAN 1 Bantul, namely difficulties in studying and analyzing a history learning topic during discussion activities.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine teachers' creativity level to overcome the limitations of infrastructure in the PJOK learning process in junior high schools in the Katingan Tengah District, Katingan Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The method used in this study is a survey method with data collection techniques using questionnaires as primary data, observation, and documentation as secondary data. The population of this study was all PJOK teachers in junior high schools throughout Katingan Tengah District Katingan Regency, totaling 23 teachers. Analysis of the data used is a descriptive analysis of the percentage. The results showed that the creativity of sports and health physical education teachers in responding to the limitations of physical education facilities and infrastructure in junior high schools throughout Katingan Tengah District, Katingan Regency as a whole was categorized as one teacher (4%) in the very high category, six teachers (26.09%) in the category high, ten teachers (43.48%) in the medium category, four teachers (17.39%) in the low category, and two teachers (8.70%) in the very low category. The conclusion is that the creation of physical education and health teachers in response to the limitations of physical education facilities and infrastructure in junior high schools throughout Sukoharjo District, Sukoharjo Regency is in the medium category (43.48%)

Abstract

Mencuri Raden Saleh is a film that tells the story of the lives of young people. It starts with Piko (Iqbaal Ramadhan), an art student who is struggling to find money to support himself and trying to free his father who is in prison. Researchers use semantic meaning which is a part of linguistics that examines meaning or significance (Parera, 2004). The value of friendship is mutual understanding between individuals, understanding all things that are liked, hated, needed, as well as the elements that make up a feeling that requires each individual to trust each other, help each other, and work together to develop common goals (Pangle in Julia, 2021). Researchers used qualitative methods in analyzing data and descriptive methods in presenting research data. The technique used in data collection is the Talk Free Involvement Listening Technique (Zaim, 2014). Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded, namely 1) dominant semantic meaning can be carried out, namely emotive and ideational meanings, 2) friendship values ​​that arise, namely mutual support, mutual trust, and responsibility for the difficulties experienced by the two friends , and 3) this research can also be a reference in understanding the value of friendship for students and used as research material that can be developed in social life.

Abstract

Since online learning was implemented, SMA Negeri 5 Palangka Raya as part of the education implementers in Central Kalimantan has been trying to find solutions and innovate to provide the best educational services for students. Likewise in learning chemistry, chemistry teachers must ensure that students can accept the concepts and material provided through online learning. This study aims to explore students' constraints and difficulties in conducting online learning related to understanding concepts in chemistry learning. This research also provides an overview of the implementation of online learning and evaluations that need to be carried out in preparation for the new school year. The subjects in this study were 103 students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 5 Palangka Raya. Data was obtained from student responses regarding chemistry learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic using an online questionnaire. Then it is processed by changing each response to the question items into a percentage of the number of responses and triagulated with responses in the form of reasons. From the results of the study, it was concluded that most students can carry out online learning with various learning platforms. The level of attendance and enthusiasm of students is quite high and some students do not feel burdened by online learning. In terms of material understanding, difficulties are felt in material related to symbols, formulas, calculations and reaction mechanisms as well as microscopic aspects. Obstacles that are felt are divided into technical constraints, constraints on teaching methods and materials, as well as internal student constraints.
