Abstract

Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang abstrak. Banyak siswa yang menganggap matematika sebagai pelajaran yang sulit. Anggapan ini disebut dengan persepsi matematis siswa. Persepsi yang positif akan membawa pengaruh yang positif kepada diri peserta didik, begitupula sebaliknya, persepsi negatif akan memberikan dampak negatif bagi diri peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak persepsi tersebut terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitis dengan pengumpulan data secara online melalui google form. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA di wilayah Bantul. Kemudian, didapatkan hasil bahwa persepsi sangat berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan matematis siswa. Persepsi negatif akan menyebabkan rasa kurang percaya diri dalam menghadapi matematika. Hal ini akan melemahkan semangat untuk belajar sehingga berakibat pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika yang rendah. Persepsi ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti materi dan guru.

Abstract

This article aims to describe students' understanding of concepts in solving differential equations in terms of cognitive style. This research was conducted at FKIP Muhammadiyah University Prof.Dr.HAMKA with the research subject of 36 4th semester mathematics education students who are taking differential equations courses. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through tests and interviews. The first test instrument is using the GEFT test (Group Embedded Figure Test) and concept understanding test . Where the results of this study the percentage of the ability to understand the concept as a whole 46.50% which is still relatively low. In the level of understanding the concept, the high category is 25%, the medium category is 61.11% and the low category is 13.89%. If we look at the indicators, the percentage of achievements that have reached both indicators I1, I3 and I4 and indicators I2, I5, I6 and I7 are still in the low category. The ability to understand concepts in the high category is found in the FI cognitive style, both FIK and FIL, the medium and low categories belong to the FIL to FDL cognitive style.

Abstract

This study is planned to explore culinary arts vocational high school students experience in learning specialized vocabulary and their strategies to overcome the challenges both in the classroom and field job. This research conducted qualitative research as methodology and did an semi-structured interview with five Culinary Arts Student from SMK Paramitha 1. The interview in topic will ask the respondent about how they learn specialized vocabulary from any media and deepening about language-related issues, individual influences, and learning source the participants from actively learning with structured interview. More particularly, it is planned to understand the participants’ experience of learning vocabulary in (i) lectures/tutorials, and (ii) social contexts. This finding found that students find their own strategies and method in order to face their struggle in learning specialized vocabulary. Keywords:

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Hasan terletak di jalan Parang Menang, Patihan Wetan, Babadan, Ponorogo, Jawa Timur. Pemikiran tentang pentingnya manajemen kegiatan di pondok pesantren dipandang sebagai suatu kebutuhan agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas SDM santri, serta sebagai landasan untuk perkembangan di masa yang akan datang. Oleh sebab itu manajemen kegiatan di pondok pesantren ini layak untuk dilaksanakan. Manajemen memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan di pondok pesantren supaya kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien dan sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan. Dalam pengabdian ini peneliti menggunakan metode pendekatan (ABCD) Asset Based Community Development, dimana metode tersebut mengutamakan pemanfaatan aset dan potensi yang sudah ada disekitar dan dimiliki oleh pondok pesantren. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berdampak signifikan pada peningkatan manajemen kegiatan di pondok pesantren, mulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi. Proses manajemen di pondok pesantren tahfidzul qur’an ini berjalan dengan baik meskipun belum dapat berjalan secara optimal dan masih terdapat kekurangan. Pondok pesantren tidak lagi kaku dalam hal manajerial, bahkan pondok pesantren memiliki nilai lebih dalam meningkatkan kualitas akhlak, moral, karakter, dan kemampuan skill santri dalam menghadapi tatangan zaman dan nantinya dibutuhkan ketika terjun dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal open-ended spldv. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI MTS Al-Islah Citrodiwangsan Lumajang. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan secara purposive sampling Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah open-ended, dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis data kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelian yang telah dilakukan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik subjek ST dapat dikategorikan sangat baik karena mampu melaksanakan keempat tahapan polya, subjek SS dikategorikan memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang baik karena mampu melaksanakan tiga tahapan polya tanpa melakukan pengecekan ulang, dan subjek SR hanya dapat melaksanakan dua tahapan Polya yaitu memahami masalah dan merencanakan penyelesaian dengan menghasilkan jawaban salah, sehingga dikategorikan memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang kurang baik, masing-masing subjek sedikitnya membuat dua strategi penyelesaian yang berbeda.

Abstract

Speaking is an effective language talent in verbal exchange that is incorporated collectively with the opposite language competencies consisting of listening, writing, and analyzing despite the grammatical, pronunciation, and vocabulary. This article aims to explain the concept of speaking skills, the implementation of picture series to retelling stories for speaking skills, and the advantages and disadvantages of the retelling story technique. The method of collecting data is through library research and documentation. The data were collected from books and manuscripts. The analysis of data used qualitative data analysis using Miles and Huberman's data analysis process by organizing the information, description, and interpretation. The results of this study show that retelling stories are useful for improving students' ability to speak English by using pictures to improve students' speaking skills.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to describe the behavior of adolescent gadget users by using theory from the scope of Gadget sociology, apart from being a tool to facilitate and assist humans in completing their work, it can also be the cause of behavioral deviations towards its users, especially among teenagers who are still mentally unstable and looking for his identity. There are so many adolescent behaviors that tend to experience significant changes after a long time and are accustomed to using gadgets. Childhood to adolescence is a period where Individuals carry out socialization to determine their role in community life. Socialization is a process of knowingly or unintentionally introducing the values ​​and norms of society in such a way that it forms a complete individual. To become a complete individual, each individual must take a role in a community group so that he is accepted as part of a community group. The method used is library research. The results of this study can be concluded (1) The scope of sociology (2) The need for socialization in order to form a complete individual (3) The behavior shown by some teenagers when using gadgets, namely, selfies, introverted, difficult to concentrate on the real world, social deviation, anti-social.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran daring dan pembelajaran luring terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 Unisnu Jepara. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data sampling jenuh yaitu semua populasi menjadi sampel penelitian, yaitu mahasiswa akuntansi semester genap tahun 2021/2022 Unisnu Jepara sebanyak 76 mahasiswa. Instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring tidak berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa inggris di Unisnu Jepara dan variabel pembelajaran luring berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran ata kuliah bahasa inggris di Unisnu Jepara.

Abstract

The development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in this study contains a discussion of the development of the PAI curriculum in the field of Al-Qur'an tahfizh in Al Azhar Islamic Elementary Schools throughout Jabodetabek. The purpose of this research is to find out 1) Curriculum objectives, 2) implementation process, 3) constraints and challenges, 4) successful strategies for developing the Islamic Religion Education curriculum in the field of Al-Qur'an tahfizh in Al Azhar Islamic Elementary Schools throughout Jabodetabek. The method used in conducting this research is a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach where this research is used to analyze and present facts systematically so that they can be more easily understood and concluded. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation guidelines and documentation to obtain information in the form of experiences, attitudes, feelings and ideas of research subjects such as school principals, deputy principals, curriculum areas, Islamic religious education teachers. The results of research on Al Azhar Islamic Elementary School show that Al-Azhar Islamic Elementary School curriculum development refers to the provisions of curriculum development that have been compiled by the PAI curriculum team at the Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education Islamic Boarding School Foundation (YPI) Al Azhar, but the curriculum development has not been entirely based on the provisions of curriculum development by experts, namely in the form of curriculum documents supplemented by a syllabus, except for Al Azhar Bintaro Islamic Elementary School which already has a more complete tahfizh curriculum document. Obstacle factors in curriculum development are divided into two, namely internal and external factors, which result in the curriculum running less optimally

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the Office of Education and Culture of Kotawaringin Barat Regency in efforts to preserve Cultural Heritage in Kotawaringin Barat Regency. The cultural heritage discussed in this study is the Kyai Gede Mosque, Astana Al-Nursari, and the Prince Mangkubumi Palace. This study aims to describe and analyze the roles and efforts of the Education and Culture Office of Kotawaringin Barat Regency and the factors that influence the preservation of Cultural Heritage in Kotawaringin Barat Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. Informants in this study as many as 8 people including researchers. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher's technique uses qualitative data, namely all materials, information, and facts that cannot be measured and calculated systematically because their form is verbal information (sentences and data). With this technique, the researcher only collects data, information, facts facts, statements in the form of sentences and data from problems that researchers consider important and support in terms of data collection from the relevant agencies at the Office of Education and Culture of Kotawaringin Barat Regency. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Office of Education and Culture in managing Cultural Heritage acts as a regulator is to prepare directions to balance the implementation of cultural heritage preservation through regulations, as a dynamist is to mobilize community participation both individuals and institutions related to the preservation of cultural heritage, and the facilitator is the government is engaged in the field of assistance through training, education and skills improvement as well as in the field of funding and capital.
