Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the impression / influence of students' knowledge on the decision to become a customer of Islamic banks. This study uses a quantitative descriptive study with pourposiive samples of 50 VII semester students of the Department of Development Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University, Makassar. Data collection techniques are observation and questionnaires while data analysis techniques are using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that students' knowledge had a positive and significant effect on the decision to become a customer of a Sharia Bank.

Abstract

Research conducted by the author aims to analyze cash flows and inventory turnover to increase profitability as measured by Return On Assets (ROA) at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. The approach used in this research is a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation study. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique. Where in this study to analyze cash turnover and inventory turnover in increasing Return On Assets (ROA). The results showed that cash turnover and inventory turnover were not optimal in increasing profitability. The cash turnover has decreased while the profitability has increased. The decrease in cash turnover was due to the relatively small amount of cash owned by the company and an increase in the amount of unproductive funds that were embedded in the company's cash. The decrease in inventory turnover was caused by piling up inventory and decreasing sales volume. Profitability as measured by the company's Return on Assets (ROA) has decreased due to the decline in the company's ability to generate net income from 2013 to 2015 followed by an increase in company assets. The decrease in cash turnover was due to the relatively small amount of cash owned by the company and an increase in the amount of unproductive funds that were embedded in the company's cash.

Abstract

This research aims to discover the influence of management of productive zakah on the mustahiq as the BAZNAS in south sumatra province as well as influence of utilization of productive zakah on the mustahiq empowerment. Data collection method used in this research utilized questionnaire in likert scale.Wherein all of 30 residents (population) are being used as sample (census technique). The F test, t test and the coefficient determinan (R2) the show that management of productive zakah had a positive and significant impact on mustahiq empowerment in (BAZNAS) south sumatra province and utilization of productive zakah had a positive and significant impact on mustahiq empowerment as well.

Abstract

The development of technical knowledge has encouraged many business activities utilizing communication tools and technologies in business processes. This study aims to test the effect of knowledge acquisition and knowledge application of millennial technopreneurs in Indonesia in utilizing technology for their business activities. A total of 153 respondents were surveyed through online questionnaires. SEM analysis is used to test the research model. This study found that millennial technopreneurs ignore acquiring knowledge about business activities. But significant results showed that millennial technopreneurs immediately applied knowledge without looking at previous knowledge acquisition processes.

Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the relationship between innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking on the performance of FAMA's entrepreneurs in Malaysia. Following a comprehensive review, the study has proposed the dimensions that would correlate with the performance of FAMA's entrepreneurs include innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking. This study was conducted via the gathering of primary data, and the questionnaire was sent to firms across Kedah state. Approximately 100 sets of questionnaires were distributed and the gathered data was transferred into statistical computing. The study's findings indicated that dimensions such as innovativeness and risk-taking have a strong correlation with the performance of FAMA's entrepreneurs. However, the proactiveness dimension does not have a correlation with business performance. The current study enables firms to investigate key factors that contribute to performance.

Abstract

Tarumajaya Bekasi has pristine mangrove areas, which is located on the west of Bekasi. It has a lot of potential that can be developed. One of the potential developed is Mangrove Ecotourism Jembatan Cinta Mangrove, where the management is done directly by the People Tarumajaya Bekasi. But a lot of potential that there is not explored properly and the tendency is decreasing environmental quality. Mangrove Ecotourism have not optimized yet its potential tourism destination object. Planning done by the Tarumajaya Bekasi Community performed not optimal. Therefore, in this study needs to be conducted to identify the level of community participation in the development of ecotourism in the Jembatan Cinta mangrove in order to develop good ecotourism planning through participation planning

Abstract

Job satisfaction gives hope, especially for a lecturer in improving his welfare. Having good work motivation is expected to be able to increase the quantity and quality of lecturers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. The main focus of this study is to determine the role of job satisfaction in mediating motivation on performance. This research method uses a Structure Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). In this study, the population and sample were 52 permanent lecturers of the LP3M Superior Polytechnic. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of data analysis show that motivation directly has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, indirectly motivation does not affect performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance. Indirectly job satisfaction has a role in mediating motivation to performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance on firm value and corporate social responsibility as a moderating variable. The sample of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2012-2017. Based on purposive sampling criteria, there were 504 samples obtained This studi uses a quatitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis methods. This study found that good corporate governance has a positive effect on firm value. Then, corporate social responsibility strengthens the relationship between corporate governance and firm value. Contributions of this study is develops a research model of the influence of good corporate governance dan corporate social reponsibility on increasing firm value by measuring that variables in accordance with firm conditions in developing countries. Future resarch is very interesting to add criteria to determine the final score for good corporate governance and corporate social responsibility disclosure by following the changing times.

Abstract

This paper examines the effect of the application of financial technology on SMEs income in Medan. Sampling using the accidental sampling method as many as 100 SMEs in Medan. The method of data collection is by distributing online questionnaires. The method of data analysis in this study used regression analysis. The results of the analysis explain that the application of financial technology influences the income of SMEs in Medan.

Abstract

This paper is aimed to examine factors that influence the firm value of goods and consumption companies at IDX.The data used in this study uses data form www.bps.go.id, www.bi.go.idandwww.idx.co.id.The study used a panel data regression model and the random effect model. This study finds that the exchange rate and interest rate have a negative effect on firm value. It can be concluded that external factors have a considerably vast influence on firm value compared to internal factors. Meanwhile, managerial ownership structure and institutional ownership structure have a positive effect on firm value. In relation to company liquidity, a quick ratio solely has a negative effect on firm value.TheNoveltyofthis study shows that companies without managerial ownership have a stronger effect on firm value. Conversely, this study does not find that companies with managerial ownership affect firm value.
