Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of foreign direct investment (FDI) on economic growth and employment. Method, for this purpose, secondary data was collected in the form of annual data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) Office of Maluku Province. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The analysis model used adopts the Cobb Douglas function, namely Q = f (A Kα Lβ) with the assumption that Q is economic growth, K is capital and L is labor and A is technological progress. In the case of this study, it is assumed that economic growth is a function of capital, namely foreign investment (FDI) so that by modifying the Cobb-Douglas production function. The results showed that foreign investment (FDI) has a positive and significant effect on economic growth and employment. The effect of foreign investment (FDI) has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Maluku Province. Policies that make it difficult for investors need to be reduced. Investment also has an influence on employment. Realized investment can expand production capacity and that will require additional labor.

Abstract

This study to test and analyze can affect work life balance, leadership, religiosity, and high performance work practices to employee engagement. The population in this study are employees from logistics companies that focus on providing transportation services and the number of samples used 185 respondents. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method using smart PLS 3.0 for data processing. The results showed that leadership and religiosity had a significant positive effect on employee engagement, leadership style, work life balance, high performance work practices had a significant positive effect on employee performance. leadership and religiosity have a significant positive effect on employee performance which is mediated by employee engagement while high work performance and work life balance have no significant effect on employee performance which is mediated by employee engagement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence the recruitment and selection process has on the performance of employees in PD. Anugrah Simalungun. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data that is processed from the results of filling out questionnaires that have been circulated to all employees, in this case the head of the branch at PD. Anugrah Simalungun and company staff, totaling 32 people starting from administration, marketing and collectors according to what is needed in this study. The results of this study indicate that recruitment and selection in the partial hypothesis test (t test) that the recruitment variable (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y), so does the selection variable (X2) which has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Furthermore, with the joint test (F test) that the variables recruitment (X1) and selection (X2) together have a significant effect on employee performance (Y). The determination test (R2) states that recruitment and selection variables affect employee performance variables by 71.4%. The recruitment process carried out at PD. Anugrah Simalungun is good, but the recruitment process should be maintained or the recruitment method that has been applied so far should be developed to produce high employee performance. The selection process is good, but the selection process should be maintained or the selection process should be further improved in order to get prospective employees with the criteria required by PD. Abstract

The internet has become a part of people's daily lives to help them fulfil their needs, such as enabling them to trade or do business utilizing e-commerce applications. Shopee is one of the most well-liked e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, boasting 93 million active users. This study used the modified UTAUT 2 model to conduct a descriptive analysis to identify the application user assessment. Subsequently, the SEM PLS analysis was conducted to identify variables influencing the continuation intention of application usage and the impact of the continuation intention on the user behavior of Shopee application users. The study also sought to ascertain the impact of age and gender on the other variables in the study model. As a result, the business can identify user preferences and factors that affect how often users use the Shopee program, enabling it to maintain its appeal in the face of strong competition. The study findings revealed that social influence, perceived security, and risk received lower ratings than other categories. In conclusion, the intention of application users to continue using it was highly influenced by performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, enabling conditions, headache incentives, habit, and perceived security and risk.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of celebgrams. The study question is whether price, advertising, trust, and product quality have a partially significant effect on the economics student's interest in his online shop purchases at her Wijaya Kusuma University in Surabaya. The population consists of economics students at her Wijaya Kusuma University in Surabaya. Determining a sample using a targeted sampling method characterized by having purchased clothes from an online shop. Survey variables consist of his four independent variables, price, promotion, trust, and product quality, and one dependent variable, willingness to buy. Distribute surveys to collect data and process up to 100 respondents. The analysis method uses multiple regression analysis and the hypothesis test uses t-test. The results are as follows.1) Price positively influences purchase intent in online stores, but not by a large amount. (2) Advertising has a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest in online shops. (3) Trust has a large positive impact on purchase intentions in an online shop. (4) Product quality has a large positive impact on purchase intentions in online stores.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic that has occurred for almost the last three and give a bad impact on tourism industry, especially West Sumatra. The number of tourist visits sharply reduce due to the fearnes of various risks. In January 2023, Indonesian government officially revoked the PPKM (social distancing) regulations, it makes most activities returned to normal, including tourism activities. Seeing this opportunity, it is time to all parties to take the right actions and policies so that Indonesian tourism, especially West Sumatra, can revive. The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control: a Modified perspective form theory of planned behavior on tourist revisit intention to visit Sirandah Island, West Sumatra, it is mediated by perceived risk variables. 165 respondents were taken as samples in this study using a non-probability sampling technique, and distributing questionnaires using an online application (google form) to tourists who had visited Sirandah Island. The results showed that the modified perspective of the theory of planned behavior (attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioral control) has a significant effect on perceived risk. Furthermore, the perception of risk has a significant effect on the intention and attitude of tourists to return, subjective norms, perceptions of behavioral control have a significant effect on the intention to return. Attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioral control have a direct effect on tourists' return visits through perceived risk as a mediating variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore and map in depth about BUM Desa starting from the institutional, organ and governance system, stakeholders to various problems faced, then analyze it for further designing and recommending a comprehensive and comprehensive Re-Modeling. strategic as a solution for the management of BUM Desa in Belu Regency in particular and in East Nusa Tenggara Province in general. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative because this method is considered to be able to provide a broader, in-depth and detailed description of the phenomena in the field, in this case the reality conditions of BUM Desa in Belu district. The results of the study show that the problems that have hindered all BUM Desa in Belu district have so far stemmed from the absence of a standardized formal model starting from pre-operational; operational implementation; post operational.

Abstract

This research should explore the mechanisms through which credit relaxation policies influence sustainability performance and the conditions under which these policies are most effective during the pandemic covid-19, the most crisis MSMEs are Facing. This research is very urgent for elevate government policy with continuous improvement, especially for credit relxation policy. This research focuses on the impact of credit relaxation policies on the sustainability performance of MSMEs. Data analysis of 123 respondents was conducted using smart-PLS03 software. Research results show that the cost relaxation program, directly and indirectly, affects SMEs'SMEs' sustainability performance. Furthermore, various relaxation programs significantly affect SMEs' sustainability performance and have the highest contribution. The finding of the credit relaxation policy positively influences the sustainability performance of MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in the Jabodetabek area. This means that the better the credit relaxation policy set by the government during the pandemic, the more sustainable performance of MSMEs, especially in Indonesia, can be encouraged.

Abstract

Business activities that run well and safely will increase the rate of economic growth. Relatively affordable investment capital as launched by Indonesia Stock Exchange since 2015 by holding the "Yuk Nabung Saham" campaign aimed at inviting investors to invest by buying stocks or other instruments on a regular basis at Capital Market. Throughout 2021, the growth in the number of investors has increased very significantly, especially for novice investors from millennial generation to invest in several sharia instruments. Quantitative research with a causal design was applied using a purposive sampling technique by collecting a questionnaire of 180 respondents. Meanwhile, the data analysis method uses the PLS software application. The results showed that financial variable representativeness behavior had a significant negative effect on investment decisions of millennial generation in West Java, while financial variables of overconfidence and herding behavior had a significant positive effect on investment decisions of millennial generation in the West Java region.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and non-physical work environment on employee performance at PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk KCU Tangerang, either partially or simultaneously. The research method used in this research is quantitative research. The population used in this study were employees of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk KCU Tangerang. The sampling method used by the author in this study is the saturated sample method, where the sample is the employees of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk KCU Tangerang, totaling 87 employees. The data collection method used in this research is primary data. The primary data taken is the data from the answers of the respondents, amounting to 87 respondents. The results of this study indicate that work discipline has a partial effect on employee performance at PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk KCU Tangerang as evidenced by the value of tcount > ttable or (2,962 > 1,988). This is also strengthened by the value of Sig. < 0.05 or (0.004 < 0.05). The non-physical work environment has a partial effect on employee performance at PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk KCU Tangerang as evidenced by the value of tcount > ttable or (4,532 > 1,988). This is also reinforced by the value of Sig. < 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05). Work discipline and non-physical work environment have a simultaneous effect on employee performance at PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk KCU Tangerang as evidenced by the value of Fcount > Ftable or (35.773 > 3.105), this is also strengthened by the value of Sig. < 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05).
