Abstract

A leader is likened to a spear to determine the success or failure of an organization he leads. When a leader is able to maintain the stability of his organizational system, then of course the organization can run well. A director (leader) at the Padang Regional General Hospital has the duty to control the performance of his employees in order to provide excellent health services to patients and the public. This research is a joint effort that combines literature research and field research, where it is expected to contribute to the development of knowledge, especially in the fields of leadership and organization. The research method used is to use literature and field approach techniques to analyze what conditions and situations are ideal for carrying out leadership in Padang Pariaman Hospital. The informants in this study are all existing employees, including directors, heads of administration, and personnel staff. The results of the study show that, in general, the leadership of the hospital has fully implemented its role as a leader in improving employee performance, while the role carried out by the leadership of the hospital is to guide and direct employees, encourage employees to follow in their footsteps, and be responsible. It's just that some employees have not carried out their duties with discipline. In this case, employees need to improve their performance as employees, while what needs to be improved from employees is the quality, quantity, and completion of work.

Abstract

The current problem is that the accumulation of capital investment in the West Java Kadin-assisted MSME community is still in a slump during the COVID-19 pandemic, this is suspected because MSMEs do not yet have marketing competence, especially in terms of digitization, even though in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic where interactions are completely limited, then digitalization competence for MSMEs is a necessity, having the ability and even competence in the field of marketing requires the creativity of MSMEs which are currently not evenly distributed and entrenched in the MSME environment. This study aims to determine the effect of creativity on marketing competence and its implications for raising capital investment, a case study on Kadin Jabar's business in Bandung. The research method applied was in the form of an analytical descriptive survey method, while the sample used was 42 respondents. The variables examined from each respondent are creativity, marketing competence, and capital investment accumulation. The type of data collected is primary data. The results of the study show that creativity has no effect but has a significant value on marketing competence. The object of this research is that the respondent sample used is still limited to the West Java Kadin assisted businesses in Bandung, therefore it is necessary to carry out further research based on a more varied sampling with a longer duration, so that results can be generalized.

Abstract

In addition to implementing appropriate technology that corresponds to the character and potential of the region, which in this case is the mangrove area, and focusing on increasing the economic benefits for villages and communities, the implementation of TTG also must pay attention to the environmental ecosystem. It is accordance with the concept of the blue economy. An appropriate technology that can be used for developing economic activity in the mangrove area but does not interfere with ecosystems is the crab breeding system, using the crab ball method. Crab ball is one of the methods for inserting crabs into a tool called a crab ball, where the use of the tool is not only friendly to the forest ecosystem, but also does not require a large financial investment. One of the areas with mangrove potential is in Tirtihargo Village, Bantul District, Yogyakarta. In this study, a feasibility study was conducted from the economic and financial sides to look at the potential of the implementation of this TTG. To measure the viability of the implementation of technology for the proper cultivation of crabs using the crab ball method using two analyses namely economic feasibility and financial feasibility analysis. On economic feasibility analysis using the benefit-cost ratio approach as well as on financial feasibility analysis using the three financial ratio approaches (payback period, net present value, and internal rate of return). The results found that this implementation of appropriate technology is valid and profitable based on the principles of economic and financial analysis criteria.
