Abstract

Based on information obtained from some students in 38 public elementary schools, Gattareng, researchers found that they lacked motivation and support from their parents, so their children were also less focused on studying at home and more playing with their friends. Learning motivation is one of the factors that influence student success in teaching and learning in school. This is because each student has a different motivation between students with one another. Parental support is a very important role and is very needed by children who can support the academic achievement of children in school, one form of parental support is to give attention and help in the problems in the field of education faced by children. This study aims to determine the relationship of parental support with learning motivation in class IV and V. This type of research is a quantitative analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. With a large sample of 45 respondents. The sampling technique using total sampling method. Data analysis using a chi-square test with p-value (0.05).The results showed that respondents who said that the support of parents in the support category were 25 respondents (55.6%) and those who did not support 20 respondents (44.4%). While learning motivation in the high category was 22 respondents (48.9%) and learning motivation in the low category was 23 respondents (51.1%). This means that there is a significant relationship between the relationship of parental support with motivation to learn (p = 0.001) at the 38th elementary school. The conclusion that there is a significant relationship between the relationship of parental support with motivation to learn in class IV and V in elementary school 38 Gattareng Bulukumba district. Suggestions that parents provide support to children to be motivated to learn and get high learning achievement.

Abstract

According to the WHO (World Health Organization) in 2009 it is estimated that 450 million people worldwide are considering mental problems, around 10% of adults who have mental disorders now and 25% of the population are expected to increasingly need help each year. Mental disorders account for 13% of all illnesses and will grow to 25% by 2030, mental disorders are also related to self-defense, more than 90% of one million cases of personal protection each year due to mental disorders. The purpose of this research is to know the hallucinatory relationship with the level of family difficulties of schizophrenic patients in H. A. Sulthan Regional Hospital. Dg Radja Regency of Bulukumba. Anxiety is a problem that is characterized by feelings that will occur in something that will happen excessively. The study design uses non-experiment using cross-sectional. The population and sample in this study were all the families of schizophrenic patients who received hallucinations that took treatment patients who received 52 people in the mental clinic of RSUD. H. A. Sulthan Dg. Radja, a sample of 34 people were taken using a consecutive sampling technique using a questionnaire and observation sheet. Mann-Whitney U test results obtained p-value = 0.006 (p-value <0.05). Vision hallucinations were 12 people (33.3%), auditory hallucinations were 22 people (61.1%), while 18 were increased (52.9), mild were 11 people (32.4%), and weight was considered as many as 5 people (14.7%). The conclusions in this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between schizophrenia patient research at H. A. Sulthan Regional Hospital Dg. Bulukumba District Radja. Lent to families to increase knowledge about hallucinations and how to care to improve the family level.

Abstract

In the world, the number of stroke sufferers who experience pressure ulcers from year to year has increased. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2008 the number of stroke sufferers hospitalized with decubitus ulcers 3-10% and 2.7% have the opportunity to form new ulcers. The incidence of decubitus ulcers in Indonesia is very high compared to other countries. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of giving the right and left oblique mobilization to stroke patients in the inpatient. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach only with control groups. The collected data were analyzed by Wilcoxon's Marginal Homogeneity test. The results of the analysis in the intervention group were p values ​​0.046 (<0.05) which showed that there was an effect of giving the right and left oblique mobilization to the prevention of pressure sores in stroke patients, the results of the analysis in the control group were p values ​​= 0.003 (<0.05) ) which shows there is no effect of giving the right and left sloping mobilization to the incidence of pressure sores in stroke patients and the results of the analysis in the intervention group and the control group obtained p-value of 0.004 (<0.05) which indicates there is a significant difference in the proportion of ulcer events decubitus in respondents who were given right and left oblique mobilization with respondents who were not given right and left oblique mobilization. The suggestion from researchers is that this research can add to the treasury of science and can be used as reading material in the development of science, and become information material for health workers for the future daily observation and prevention measures for pressure ulcers can be increased again.

Abstract

United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has high cases of early marriage in Indonesia. The figure is 340,000 per year. Meanwhile, 50,000 girls in Indonesia are estimated to get married before the age of 15 years. Young women in Indonesia aged 10-14 years old married in 2010 as much as 0.2%. Even though the proportion is small, this shows that more than 22,000 young women aged 10-14 years in Indonesia are married. This study aims to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge with the incidence of early marriage in Mannaungi Hamlet, Gattareng Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. A cross-sectional study design with a population of 50 respondents, a sample size of 22 respondents employing a purposive sampling, a questionnaire research instrument for the level of knowledge and an observation sheet for early marriages. The results of the study using Fisher's exact test (ᵖ = 0.026 <α = 0.05), it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the incidence of early marriage. It is recommended to teens not to rush to get married at an early age.

Abstract

The behavior of washing hands using soap that is not true is still high in children, so it is necessary to increase knowledge and awareness by taking action on health education, where children are the group most vulnerable to disease as a result of unhealthy behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on handwashing behavior using soap in children aged 10-12 years Bulukumba Regency. The population in this study were students aged 10-12 years, as many as 61 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group pre-test and post-test approach. The data collected were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test. Based on the Wilcoxon statistical test results obtained p-value 0.027 (<0.05) which indicates there is a significant value. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of health education on the behavior of washing hands using soap in children aged 10-12 years. The advice from researchers is to provide information and education about the importance of washing hands using soap, to all levels of society and for the future health education can be increased again.

Abstract

In the world, the number of sufferers of mental retardation is getting higher. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2011 the number of people with mental retardation in the world reached 0.5-2,%, the incidence ranged from 3-4 cases per 1000 children, Indonesia ranks first in the world. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting style and social behavior of children with mental retardation in SDLB Negeri PK-PLK Bulukumba Regency in 2016. This study used a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. Samples taken in total sampling amounted to 27 respondents. Primary data collection by questionnaire and observation sheet. Fisher's test results with significance level (p <0.05) obtained p = 0.027 <0.05. Then it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between parenting parents with the social behavior of mental retardation children in SDLB Negeri PK-PLK Bulukumba Regency in 2016 Suggestions That this study can add to the treasury of science and can be used as reading material for children's nursing in the development of science So that this research can be information material for parents to be able to better educate children in mentally retarded children.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is an indicator of the quality of service we provide and patient satisfaction is a capital to get more patients to get loyal patients. Factors that influence patient satisfaction are product or service quality, price, emotional, performance, service, facilities, atmosphere, and communication. This study aims to determine inpatient services for BPJS and Non-BPJS patients with the level of patient satisfaction in H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Bulukumba Hospital, This study is an analytic observational study with a comparative approach study. This sampling uses a nonprobability sampling method with the sampling technique is a consecutive sampling. The research sample taken amounted to 76 respondents each 38 BPJS patients and 38 Non-BPJS patients from a total population of 305 patients conducted in the inpatient room of H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja District Hospital. Bulukumba from May 16 to May 18, 2017. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of this study were 76 respondents from 38 BPJS patients and 38 Non-BPJS patients, from 38 BPJS patients, who were dissatisfied with 6 respondents (7,895), who were satisfied as many as 27 respondents (35,526%), who were very satisfied as many as 5 (6.679%) while from 38 Non-BPJS patients there were no dissatisfied patients, 27 respondents were satisfied (35,526%), who were very satisfied as many as 11 respondents (14.479%). The conclusion was that there were differences in the level of service satisfaction inpatients given to BPJS patients and Non-BPJS patients at H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Bulukumba Hospital in 2017 with p = 0.032 <a = 0.05

Abstract

Mental disorders are disorders that affect one or more functions of the soul that are characterized by disruption of emotions, thought processes, behaviors, and perceptions (sensory capture). This mental disorder causes stress and suffering for sufferers and their families. The family is the closest unit to a family member who has a mental disorder and is the "Main Nurse" for the client. The family plays a role in determining the way or nursing care required by the client. This study aims to determine the relationship of family experience with family acceptance of family members who have mental disorders. The design of this study is qualitative, using a cross-sectional approach. The sample selection in this study was carried out using the Slovin formula so that 52 respondents were identified. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the results obtained value of P = 0.01 where the value of P <0.05 and r = 0.827, it means that there is a strong relationship or correlation between family acceptance with family experience of families with mental disorders in Ujung Loe Health Center Bulukumba Regency. The relationship between family acceptance and family experience can be seen that family experience of families with mental disorders in Ujung Loe Health Center, Bulukumba District is known from the level of family experience that shows 6 families have a good experience, 46 families have a poor experience and none of the respondents in the good category. While the level of family acceptance is 3 (6%), the level of acceptance is good, 49 families the level of acceptance is quite good. The results of this study can be concluded that good family acceptance is closely related to the formation of family experiences on mental disorders. The results of this study also indicate that the higher the family experience, the greater the self-acceptance that will form in the client.

Abstract

Abortion, pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases are also a problem of adolescent sexual health in the world (WHO, 2015). This data shows that the number has increased every year. Increased sexual health problems also occur in cases of abortion, pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. The importance of knowledge about reproductive health, adolescents need to get enough information, so that they know what should be done and which should be avoided. Besides, with a good knowledge of sexual health, will form a positive attitude towards sexual health. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on the level of knowledge and attitudes about sexual health in MTs AL-Huda students. One group pretest-posttest design research design is the pre-experimental design type. A total population of 128 with a sample of 97 respondents employing purposive sampling and research instruments was a questionnaire. The results of univariate studies before health education for knowledge were 24 good (24.7%), 39 adequate (40.2%), 34 poor (35.1%) and attitudes of 36 positive (37.1%) and 61 negative ( 62.9%). After health education for knowledge, 62 were good (63.9%), 33 were sufficient (34.0%) and 2 were less (2.1%) while for attitudes namely, 78 were positive (80.4%) and 19 were negative (19, 6%), bivariate results with the Wilcoxon test (ρ = 0,000 <α = 0.05), it was concluded that there were significant differences between knowledge and attitudes before and after health education. It is recommended to improve the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents through health education, especially in maintaining and maintaining reproductive/sexual health.

Abstract

National competency test is one of the effective ways to improve the educational process and management of achieving competency relevance in accordance with the competency standards required by the community. Data obtained at the Panrita Husada College of Health Sciences Bulukumba Nurse Profession in taking the 2014 Competency Test average GPA of 3.94 with a competency test reaching 62.9%, then in 2015 an average GPA of 3.73 with a competency test graduation 48.6% and in 2016 with an average GPA of 3.75 passing the competency test is decreasing at 35.7%. And it can be concluded that from year to year the passing of competency tests has decreased. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between academic achievement and the graduation of the Nursing Professional Competency test for Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba. This study uses a cross-sectional design. The sample of this study was 155 respondents with a population of 155 professional students of Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using statistical tests of alternative unpaired T-test Mann Whitney with a significance level (α = 0.05). The results showed that based on the results of statistical analysis using the Mann Whitney test, the value of p = 0.001 <α = 0.05 based on the final results can be concluded that there is a relationship between academic achievement with the passing of the Competency Test for Nurses Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba. The conclusion in this study is the academic achievement of competent Ners Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba students has a higher number than those who are not competent. More competency tests passed and those that did not. There is a difference in the proportion between academic achievement who passed the Ners Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba professional competency test.
