Abstract

Family support is very important for stroke patients or those who experience a stroke. Family support is given to health care. Broadly speaking, health efforts are divided into three prevention, curative prevention and rehabilitation efforts (Maulana, 2014: 38). Successfully preventing stroke in patients with hypertension, the family must provide support for patients with hypertension so that lifestyle changes.The purpose of this study was to study the relationship between family support for efforts to prevent stroke in hypertensive patients in the Bontonyeleng Public Health Center Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency.This study uses quantitative research design using descriptive design. The sample of this study amounted to 50 people taken by the total sampling method that is all participants who were used as the study sample. Data analysis in this study used the Chi Square test statistic test.Based on the results of the research obtained by the respondents, there were mostly in the good category as many as 29 respondents (58%), while the family efforts in minimizing stroke in hypertensive patients were mostly found in the non-done category as many as 33 respondents (66%). The results of the analysis using the Chi Square statistical test obtained a p value of 0,000, thus p <α (0,000 <0,05).The conclusion of this study is about the relationship between families with efforts to minimize stroke in hypertensive patients in the work area of ​​Bontonyeleng Public Health Center, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency.Suggestions from this study are to be able to add information and input for health workers to be able to increase assistance for hypertensive patients regarding family needs with family prevention in minimizing stroke in patients with hypertension.

Abstract

ARI is still one of the important public health issues because it is an acute disease and can even cause death. Seeing the phenomena that exist and based on the results of research obtained in the Work Area of ​​Eremerasa Community Health Center, Ulugalung Village is one of the villages that have dense residential problems that suffer from ARI as many as 40 people caused by the level of occupancy density. This study aims to identify the relationship between Residential Density and Ventilation of Houses with ISPA Events in Toddlers in the Working Area of ​​Ulugalung Health Center, Eremerasa District, Bantaeng Regency. This research is a quantitative analytic observational design with Case Control approach. The sample in the study was chosen by Purposive sampling technique as many as 68 respondents. The results showed that the relationship between occupancy density and the incidence of ARI (p = 0,000) and there was no correlation between home ventilation and the incidence of ARI (p = 0.116). In other words there is a significant relationship between the relationship between occupancy density and the incidence of ARI in the Work Area of ​​Ulugalung Health Center, Eremerasa District, Bantaeng Regency.

Abstract

Obesitas mulai menjadi masalah kesehatan di seluruh dunia, bahkan WHO menyatakan bahwa obesitas sudah merupakan suatu epidemi global, sehingga obesitas sudah merupakan suatu problem kesehatan yang harus segera ditangani. Dikalangan remaja, obesitas merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang sangat merisaukan karena dapat menurunkan rasa percaya diri seseorang, diskriminasi dari lingkungan sekitar sehingga menyebabkan gangguan psikologis yang serius. Mereka akan tumbuh menjadi remaja yang kurang percaya diri. Oleh karena itu penting untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi intervensi untuk menurunkan prevalensi obesitas dengan terapi perilaku melalui pendidikan kesehatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas media pendidikan kesehatan terhadap perubahan pengetahuan, self efficacy dan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) pada remaja overweight dan obesitas di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan “Quasy Eksperiment”, yaitu pre-test and post-test with control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 3 (tiga) kelompok studi. Kelompok pertama diberikan pendidikan kesehatan melalui media sosial (aplikasi whatsapp), kelompok kedua diberikan pendidikan kesehatan melalui media elektronik (sms), dan kelompok ketiga diberikan pendidikan kesehatan melalui media cetak (leaflet). Jumlah sampel sebanyak 69 responden. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji friedman menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan (p<0.001), self efficacy (p<0.001), dan IMT (p<0.001) pada kelompok 1, 2 dan 3. Media social lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan media elektonik dan media cetak dalam pemberian pendidikan kesehatan dalam mengubah pengetahuan dan self efficacy remaja overweight dan obesitas di kabupaten bulukumba. Kata kunci : Media Pendidikan Kesehatan, overweight, obesitas, pengetahuan, self efficacy, IMT.

Abstract

Background: Interprofessional Education (IPE) is a collaborative practice between two or more health professions that learn each other's role of a profession that aims to improve collaboration skills and quality of healthcare. This research aims to analyze the perception and readiness of students and lecturers about IPE for the financial improvement of health education. Method: This type of research is descriptive analysis with a proportional approach. The qualitative method of Triangulation design is used to get more information about the readiness and perception of lecturers and students in the implementation of IPE. Sampling techniques are purposive sampling techniques and snowball sampling. The number of samples was 26, consisting of a 16-person lecturer and 9-man students. Result: The results showed that students have readiness in IPE implementation because students have high confidence in their ability to cooperate with other health professions. Unlike the lecturers, which states that most are less prepared in the IPE implementation. This difference is due to most of the lecturers having never participated in the socialization/training/workshop about IPE. Students have a good perception of IPE implementation because they consider that learning along with other health professions can teach how to study and work in a team, hone communication skills, understand the task and Responsibilities according to their profession. Lecturers have a good perception in the implementation of IPE because they have understood that collaboration with other health professions can improve the quality of health services but still need implementation strategy of the main preparation activities Institutions. Conclusion: Most lecturers and students are not ready in the implementation of IPE and most of the lecturers and students are well-perceptual to the IPE implementation.

Abstract

Latar Belakang penelitian ini adalah Stigma dan diskriminasi yang tinggi terhadap Orang Dengan HIV dan AIDS (ODHA) merupakan salah satu hambatan paling besar dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan Human Imunnodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV dan AIDS) di Indonesia. Mahasiswa keperawartan merupakan salah satu calon tenaga Kesehatan yang akan memberikan pelayanan langsung kepada penderita HIVdan AIDS. Tujuan : penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan stigma dan diskriminasi mahasiswa profesi Ners Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba terhadap penderita HIV dan AIDS Metode Penelitian : Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif analitik, penarikan sampel simple Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 49 orang, instrument yang digunakan adalah HPASS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Stigma pada mahasiswa profesi ners berada pada tingkat rendah (51%) dengan subskala stereotype berada pada kategori negatif (42,9%), subskala diskriminatif berada pada kategori tidak mendiskriminasi (57,1%) dan subskala prasangka berada pada kategori buruk (51%) Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terjadi Peningkatan pemberian edukasi terkait keperawatan HIV dan AIDS di level akademik untuk memperkenalkan lebih awal ke mahasiswa tentang HIV dan AIDS guna menghindari stigma yang akan mereka berikan terhadap ODHA karena kurangnya pengetahuan khususnya tentang rute penularan virus HIV.

Abstract

Nurses are health workers who dominate as a whole and as the first and longest established contact with customers (patients and families) so that they need serious attention from the hospital management. The job satisfaction of health workers can be influenced by the organizational climate. This study aims to determine the relationship of the organizational climate with the job satisfaction of nurses in the inpatient room of RSUD H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja, Bulukumba Regency. This research is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling was done by a stratified random sampling technique. The population in this study were nurses in the inpatient room of H.Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Hospital, Bulukumba Regency, as many as 218 people. The sample in this study was 87 people. The measuring instruments used were questionnaires and observations. Data analysis used with the Chi-Square test. The results of the respondents 'perceptions of the organizational climate are good categories with satisfied job satisfaction as many as 59 respondents (86.76%), and organizational climate of less categories with satisfied job satisfaction, namely 9 respondents (13.23%), while respondents' perceptions of organizational climate less categories with less satisfying job satisfaction as many as 15 respondents (78.94%), and less satisfied category job satisfaction, namely 4 respondents (21.05%). Based on the results of the analysis using the Chi-Square test statistic test obtained p-value <0.002 which indicates the existence of organizational climate relations with the job satisfaction of the nurses in the inpatient room of H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Hospital, Bulukumba District.

Abstract

The phenomenon that is happening now is that many teenagers do not know the impact of HIV and AIDS both in terms of knowledge and from the attitudes of teenagers themselves. So that the research emphasizes more on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about HIV and AIDS. This study aims to identify the knowledge and attitudes of high school adolescents in urban areas about HIV and AIDS in Mas Ma’arif Bulukumba, Bulukumba District. Measurement in this study is the Analitik Descriptive study which is a form of research that is conducted with a survey approach. The sample was 36 respondents. Sampling is done using total sampling. Based on the results of the research that has been done, out of 36 respondents about the level of students' knowledge of HIV and AIDS, the highest number of respondents was high knowledge, namely 24 students (66.7%), then low knowledge by 12 students (33.3%). And those who have attitudes about HIV and AIDS with the highest number of respondents are good attitudes, namely 30 students (83.3%) then bad attitudes as many as 6 students (16.7%). Based on the results of research on students' knowledge and attitudes about HIV and AIDS MAS Ma'arif Bulukumba has good knowledge and attitudes because of the large amount of information obtained by students so that students get an understanding of HIV and AIDS.

Abstract

Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure> 140/90 mmHg. with increasing age, almost all people experience hypertension. Cases of hypertension that occur at the health center at the end of the street are 78 people who suffer and among them 52 elderly people who suffer from hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of anxiety with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at Puskesmas Ujung Loe in 2018. Research methods: This study used an analytic observational design with a "cross-sectional" approach. From the results of preliminary studies conducted by researchers on July 2, 2018, with 34 respondents. The measuring instrument used is an observation sheet. Data analysis was used using Fisher's test, a purposive sampling technique. The results of research conducted using the fisher test obtained p-value = 0.034 (p ≤ (α = o, 05), then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that "There is a relationship between‘ ‘Relationship between Anxiety Levels and Hypertension in the Elderly at Ujung Loe Public Health Center in 2018. It is recommended for families to be able to provide care for the elderly especially to help reduce the risk factors for hypertension in the elderly.

Abstract

Abortion, pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases are also a problem of adolescent sexual health in the world (WHO, 2015). This data shows that the number has increased every year. Increased sexual health problems also occur in cases of abortion, pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. The importance of knowledge about reproductive health, adolescents need to get enough information, so that they know what should be done and which should be avoided. Besides, with a good knowledge of sexual health, will form a positive attitude towards sexual health. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on the level of knowledge and attitudes about sexual health in MTs AL-Huda students. One group pretest-posttest design research design is the pre-experimental design type. A total population of 128 with a sample of 97 respondents employing purposive sampling and research instruments was a questionnaire. The results of univariate studies before health education for knowledge were 24 good (24.7%), 39 adequate (40.2%), 34 poor (35.1%) and attitudes of 36 positive (37.1%) and 61 negative ( 62.9%). After health education for knowledge, 62 were good (63.9%), 33 were sufficient (34.0%) and 2 were less (2.1%) while for attitudes namely, 78 were positive (80.4%) and 19 were negative (19, 6%), bivariate results with the Wilcoxon test (ρ = 0,000 <α = 0.05), it was concluded that there were significant differences between knowledge and attitudes before and after health education. It is recommended to improve the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents through health education, especially in maintaining and maintaining reproductive/sexual health.

Abstract

AIDS or Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome is a collection of symptoms that arise due to decreased immunity caused by infection by HIV. As a result of decreased immunity, the person is very susceptible to various infectious diseases that are often fatal. With a healthy lifestyle, the time between HIV infection and becoming ill with AIDS can range from 10-15 years, sometimes even longer. Not having sexual intercourse with an infected person, especially anal intercourse, ie body fluids, blood, semen or vaginal secretions most likely to be exchanged, is the only 100% effective way to prevent HIV transmission through sex. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of knowledge, attitudes with HIV and AIDS prevention behavior in Cafe Waiters in Tanjung Bira, Bontobahari District, Bulukumba Regency. This study uses an analytic observational design with a "cross-sectional" approach. The study population was all cafe waitresses, amounting to 150 waitresses. The number of samples was 59 respondents. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with a systematic sampling approach. Data collection using a questionnaire. The analysis used the chi-square alt merge cell test and chi-square alt fisher test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and HIV and AIDS prevention behavior in Cafe Waiters in Tanjung Bira, Bontobahari District, Bulukumba Regency, as evidenced by ρ = 0.038 <α = 0.05 and there was a relationship between attitudes and HIV and AIDS prevention behaviors in Cafe stewards in Tanjung Bira, Bontobahari District, Bulukumba Regency, proven by ρ = 0.017 <α = 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes with HIV and AIDS prevention behavior in Cafe Waiters in Tanjung Bira, Bontobahari District, Bulukumba Regency.
