Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of tahfiz teachers in improving students' ability to memorize the Qur'an at MA Al-Karimi Gresik. This study uses qualitative research, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation, and uses data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the efforts needed to improve the student's ability to memorize the Qur'an at MA Al-Karimi include the following; 1) Correcting student reading, such as the length and short, 2) Providing examples of reading, namely with the teacher first reading verse by verse then followed by the students, 3) Providing motivation, such as giving encouragement and advice to students, 4) Inviting or guiding students to continue muraja'ah, 5) Using various methods, such as Talaqqi, tahfiz and takrir.

Abstract

The term leadership in Islam has four words, namely caliph, imam, guardian, and ulul amri. From that word, meanings will be found that will provide an understanding that a leader is a must for every human civilization. With changing times and the advancement of science, an Islamic leadership must be able to hone its abilities according to the development of the times it faces. The 21st century makes a leader have multiple characters that are in line with advances in science and technology, but that progress does not change the foundation of his footing, namely the Koran and Sunnah. Times may change, but Islamic leadership skills must be imprinted in him, namely correct knowledge, safe aqidah and fixed faith, three skills as Islamic leaders in the 21st century must be guarded and maintained.

Abstract

This research is literature research or library research that reveals the thoughts of al-Ghazali and Muhammad Abduh about the morals of students. The method used in collecting data in writing this thesis is the documentation method. Some of the data collected include primary data in the form of Islamic education thoughts by al-Ghazali and Muhammad Abduh about the morals of students and secondary data in the form of writings that try to discuss the thoughts of Islamic education by al-Ghazali and Muhammad Abduh about student morals and literature. -literature relevant to this study. The similarity of thoughts of al-Ghazali and Muhammad Abduh regarding education is that education is a human means to achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter and is oriented towards the formation of humans as complete human beings, both in this world and in the hereafter. The moral ideal criteria that must be possessed by a student regarding the student's relationship with his God in the view of al-Ghazali and Muhammad Abduh is that he must have commendable qualities, such as holy intentions in studying for Allah, piety, humility, focus on learning. by avoiding worldly dependence and tawakkal.

Abstract

The Qur'an in explaining leadership uses the terminology of “Khalifah, ulu al-amr, imam, and malik”, but the four terms are related to the meaning in accordance with the context of the verse. The scholars' interpretation of the concept of leadership in the Qur'an includes the entire understanding of the leader, the leader of the caliphate, the leader of the prayer, including leadership in the world of education which is often discussed in educational management. This research is a literature study with a study of maudhui interpretations of how the relevance of the meaning of the word “Khalifah” in Islamic education leadership.

Abstract

Various moral problems, identity crises, and social deviations along with the advancement of Science and Technology have become a challenge for modern educators in Indonesia. This phenomenon encourages researchers to explore the values of character education in the book Wadza`if al-Muta'allim by KH. Zainal Abidin Munawwir. This study also analyzes the relevance of these values to the material of Islamic Religious Education in Indonesia based on Permendikbud no. 37 of 2018. The method used by the researcher is a qualitative research type of library research with a descriptive qualitative approach and using content analysis techniques. Researchers managed to find two research results: first, it was found that there were 3 (three) parts of the values of character education in the book of Wadza`if al-Muta'allim, namely: wadza`if al-muta'allim at-tholab era, adab al- muta'allim ma'a ustadzihi, and wadza`if al-muta'allim wa a'maluhu waqta talaqqi ad-dirasah.

Abstract

Al-Quran Hadith is one of the subjects in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Arabic language, this subject is important to learn without reducing the importance of other subjects that are still in the same family or other general subjects being taught. This article aims to provide strategies for finding appropriate and relevant patterns related to the development of science and technology, times have changed towards the era of society 5.0. Change is a strategy used by the tutors of Al-Quran Hadith subjects while continuing to update their knowledge to deal with changes, which changes cannot be restrained and inhibited. So that students have the stimulation to study the Al-Quran Hadith to make them become people who give benefit to themselves, their families, and society at large, case by case in this country can be minimized through students' understanding of the Koran and Hadith. The research is in the form of library research using a descriptive qualitative approach, and techniques for collecting data through various articles and relevant books. then a descriptive analysis is carried out, and finally, conclusions are made. The result of this article is a strategy that must be owned by educators that is adapted to the times they are facing, especially the subjects of the Koran Hadith as the main guideline for Muslims.
