Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Rolling Ball - Learning Cell in learning to improve students' English writing skills. This research method used experimental methods. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A SMP Negeri 27 Surakarta. The research instrument used observation and tests. The data analysis technique of this research used statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Rolling Ball-Learning Cell in learning English in class VII A SMP Negeri 27 Surakarta includes: the planning stage, preparing the media, and the implementation stage. Rolling Ball-Learning Cell can improve students' English writing skills from the initial conditions with an average score of 75.3 with 43.3% completeness to the condition after treatment an average score of 88 with 90% completeness in class VII A students of SMP Negeri 27 Surakarta.

Abstract

Blindness is a disturbance that occurs in a person's vision, in the form of complete or partial blindness, resulting in malfunctioning of vision. The difficulty in recognizing objects in blind students is due to the lack of media used in the learning process, the media used must be in accordance with the deficiencies experienced by students, namely not being able to see objects but requiring media that can be touched directly by students. Therefore we need media that can support the learning process in this case, namely three-dimensional media. The formulation of the problem of this research is whether there is an effectiveness of using three-dimensional media in increasing the ability to recognize objects for blind students. While the aim is to determine the effectiveness of using three-dimensional media in improving the ability to recognize objects for blind students. The type of this research is using quantitative descriptive methods. The method used to obtain data in this study is a test method and data analysis method using t-test analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, before using three-dimensional media from 23 students from 3 classes only 10 students completed and in each class there were 3-4 students who completed after the use of three-dimensional media in the learning process increased student learning completeness. Of the 23 students in 3 different classes 19 students were declared complete with an average grade of 7-8 students, this proved a very significant increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the creative writing skills of free poetry through stone media by applying the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. This research method is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles with the research subject, namely students of class VIII A SMPN 15 Mataram. The research instrument used observation and tests. The research data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the use of stone media could improve the creative writing skills of free poetry. The improvement of the quality of the learning process in cycle I showed an average value of 67.5 and 80.5 in cycle II. The average student assessment results were 4.2 with 85% activeness of the total students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between public relations management and image building of schools in SMP IT Tunas Cendekia Mataram. To obtain research data, the data collection technique used was the questionnaire method as the main method and observation and documentation as a complementary method. Furthermore, the data analysis method uses statistical analysis methods with the product moment correlation formula. Based on the results of data analysis in this study, the r count value was 0.866 and then this value was consulted with the product moment r table value at the 5% significance level with N = 66 obtained a value of 0.254. This fact shows that rcount is greater than rtabel or 0.866> 0.254, then the results of data analysis in this study are declared "significant", that is, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that "There is a Relationship between Public Relations Management and School Image Development at SMP IT Tuas Cendekia Mataram which is included in the" strong "category.

Abstract

This study aims to improve reading comprehension skills of SMA Negeri 1 Kebomas students through extensive reading. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The sample of this research was students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri I Kebomas. The research instrument used tests, observations, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique of this research is using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student reading comprehension learning outcomes as evidenced by an increase in test results during the study.

Abstract

he purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of academic supervision in an effort to improve the competence of classroom teachers in the learning process. This research method uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle of activities there are four stages namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of this study indicate that; 1) the results of the observation of the principal and observations of the teacher during the mentoring process have obtained an average score of> 4.0, 2) the final result> 85% of the total number of mentoring participants received an average grade of> 75.00 (good category). The results of the study in the first cycle observation of the average principal (3.40), average teacher observation (3.33) and the academic supervision results of the average grade teacher (64.82). In cycle II the average headmasters observation (4.70) with the percentage of achievement (100%), the average teacher observation (4.67) with the percentage of achievement (83.33%) and the results of academic supervision in the target (language teacher english) average grade (85.96) with percentage of achievement (100%). Indicators of success have been achieved, the research was declared successful and stopped in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth graders at SDN 2 Responsibilities in science subjects with the discovery learning model assisted by power point media. This research method used classroom action research with 3 cycles. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students at SDN 2 Responsibility with a total of 26 people. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study are that there is an increase in the percentage of students' science mastery learning outcomes, from the first cycle to the third cycle there is an increase in the percentage of science learning mastery outcomes by 73%. So the conclusion obtained from the results of this study is that the discovery learning model assisted by power point media can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 2 Responsibility in science subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning activities through cooperative learning Mind Mapping models in the form of creative concept maps. This research method uses classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.2 students of SMPN 1 Pemenang with a total of 17 people. This research instrument uses observation. Research data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that an increase in student learning activities is an average of 12.06 obtained from the average activity of students in the first cycle was 69.06 and then increased in the second cycle to 81.17. So it can be concluded that (1) The application of Mind Mapping learning models in the form of creative concept maps is one of the best alternatives in PAI and Budi Pekerti learning, (2) The application of Mind Mapping learning models in the form of creative concept maps can create participatory and multi-directional learning , (3) Through the application of Mind Mapping learning methods in the form of creative concept maps can increase the learning activities of students. The results also showed changes in classroom atmosphere that tended to be democratic and changes in teacher attitudes to care more about the atmosphere of learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze inquiry-based learning through the implementation of modeling instruction on optical instrument materials. This research method used quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Donggo. The collection technique includes observation, literature review, questionnaire, test and documentation. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively quantitatively, among the research data to be analyzed are: student activities, learning outcomes, and student responses to ongoing learning. The results of this study include: 1) Student activity obtained a score of 74.58% or good category, 2) Inquiry learning with Modeling Instruction on optical instrument material can actually improve students' understanding with an N-gain score of 1.3 points or very high category. high, 3) Student responses to learning obtained a score of 84.37% or very interesting category. Based on the results of the study, it was found that through Inquiry learning with Modeling Instruction on Optical Instruments material, it can be used as an alternative to improve the quality of learning in class, especially in Physics subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify, describe and analyze the role of the school committee in (1) The process of preparing a school income and expenditure budget plan (RAPBS) at MTs Nurul Ikhsan Batukliang, (2) How to obtain financial support and allocation of education costs at MTs Nurul Ikhsan Batukliang , and (3) Supervision and evaluation of tuition fees at MTs Nurul Ikhsan Batukliang. The research method used is a qualitative method with data analysis techniques consisting of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusion. The research results show that the performance of the school committee, especially in education financing at MTs Nurul Ikhsan Batukliang in accordance with its duties and functions, namely as advisory. agency (giver of considerations), supporting agency (supporting educational service activities), controlling agency (controller activities) and mediator (liaison) have made a positive contribution to the progress of the school. The progress that has been achieved includes physical and non-physical infrastructure. Good cooperation between the school and the committee can be seen from the solidarity in the preparation of the RAPBS so that all planned programs receive financial support from the government, student guardians and the private sector.
