Edutourism Journal of Tourism Research (EJTR) published twice a year in June and December by Tourism Department of State Polytechnic of Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The publication of this journal is a scientific and applied journal in hospitality and tourism studies. The manuscript can be research papers, review articles, and conceptual, technical, and methodological papers on all aspects, including research findings, experimental design, analysis, and recent application in hospitality and tourism studies. These areas include tourism planning, tour and travel, tourism management, tourism destination, destination management organization, hotel and accommodation, tourism industry, economic effects of tourism, tourism gastronomy, tourism village, education in tourism, MICE, tourist attraction development, tourism business, ecotourism, the particular interest of tourism, heritage, and cultural attraction..

Abstract

The CHSE (Clean, Health, Safety & Environment) Certification Program or Hygiene, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability is granting certificates to tourism businesses, other related businesses/facilities, community environments, and tourism destinations. CHSE certification serves as a guarantee to tourists and the public that the products and services provided have complied with the hygiene, health, safety, and environmental sustainability protocols. The average result of the total questionnaire variable CHSE (X) in 3-star category hotels in Depok is 72% which is classified in the good category. From all statement indicators, I can see that we find the lowest indicator in guests washing hands with soap/hand sanitised before and after entering the restaurant, this is because of the unavailability of a place to wash hands in the restaurant area. From all statement indicators, I can see that they find the highest indicator in the transportation party. Here, the driver/guest carries out the guidelines for parking the vehicle following existing instructions and rules with a result of 78%. From the results of simple linear regression analysis, I found that the CHSE variable X affected the decision to stay.

Abstract

Tourism emphasizes the authenticity of an area with the principle of preservation and sustainable development, but technology is one factor that influences it enough to attract tourists or ease management in the tourism sector. The terminology of smart tourism appears as a direction in the support system for supporters in the tourism sector. One system in implementing smart tourism is gamification, which is still a lot of ordinary people in the system. This article examines the extent of the application of gamification in the concept of smart tourism and what things are still obstacles in the application of gamification in the tourism industry so that it can be a recommendation for further research. So that both are expected to provide an understanding of the application of gamification and the extent of realization in the concept of smart tourism. The method used in this research is a literature study. The results got by the application of gamification in smart tourism are very helpful in the tourism industry. This system provides tourism development, namely providing education, using the potential and use of technology. Gamification is a system where tourists are given more flexibility for activities and interacting with tourist areas, both visually and directly.

Abstract

Desa Ciririp berada di Kecamatan Sukasari, Kabupaten purwakarta. Desa ini berada pada ketinggian 116 m di atas permukaan laut. Desa Ciririp berbatasan dengan Desa Kertamanah di sebelah utara, berbatasan dengan Desa Sukasari di sebelah selatan, berbatasan dengan kawasan Perhutani di sebelah barat dan berbatasan dengan Danau Jatiluhur di sebelah timur. Desa Ciririp memiliki daya tarik wisata alam yang diantaranya danau, hutan, air terjun, sungai dan pemandangan alam yang masih asri. Salah satu daya di desa ini adalah Curug Tilu yang mengalir pada tiga undakan batu dan bongkahan batu andesit. Penulis tertarik untuk membahas tentang pengembangan aktivtias di Desa Ciririp. Dengan berkembangnya aktivitas wisata dapat meningkatkan minta wisatawan untuk mengunjungi Kabupaten Purwakarta, secara khusus ke Desa Ciririp. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dimana peneliti menggunakan instrumen kunci dan objek yang alamiah. Dalam penelitian ini data diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap partisipan kunci. Secara keseluruhan Desa Ciririp belum memanfaatkan sumber daya yang dimiliki secara maksimal, masih terdapat beberapa sumber daya alam yang tidak dikembangkan sebagai daya tarik wisata. Secara keseluruhan Desa Ciririp belum memanfaatkan sumber daya yang dimiliki secara maksimal, masih terdapat beberapa sumber daya alam yang tidak dikembangkan sebagai daya tarik wisata. Diperlukan kolaborasi antara pengelola, masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam mengembangkan aktivitas wisata di Desa Ciririp.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Eco-friendly Practices, Green Brand Image and Green Initiatives on the number of tourists visiting Pontianak. The type of research used in this research is quantitative by using a survey method wherein survey research using a questionnaire that will be given to respondents according to predetermined criteria. The population of this research is the consumer who has visited, received offers and made purchase decisions at least two times for Starbucks products with the sample is 100 respondents. The technique used is non-probability sampling, which is a sampling technique that does not provide equal opportunities for each element or member of the population to be selected as samples, and the purposive sampling method is a sampling technique with certain considerations. The data will be analyzed by using PASW Statistics 18 software application and the method used is multiple linear regression with the variables of Eco-Friendly Practices, Green Brand Image and Green Initiatives, and several tourists. The results show that Eco-Friendly Practices, Green Brand Image and Green Initiatives have a significant effect number of tourists visiting Pontianak.

Abstract

As 21st century and/ or urban spots skyrocketing nonstop, particularly at East Java, a bunch of anti-outmoded places’ quantity exceeds both heritage and monumental tourism sites. Attempting archaic didactic principles in familiarizing pupils with heritage tourism equals nothing, nor is (using) printed book; a fine-tech focal notion shall be done. This research heads renewal worth noting idea, it’s antihelix; the method coalesces Academician, Business, Community, Government, and Media abbr. ABCGM, thus, foregoing fifth stakeholders can emerge a distinct tactic of transferring heritage tourism science to students. It can by locating learners’ interests via sophisticated 5.0 features e.g. Virtual Reality/ VR, Augmented Reality/ AR, 3D Demo, etc. To do so, pupils’ endeavour forecast is aimed at history-savvy, minifying heritage unawareness, and nurturing annals of historic sites. A resilient historic site encompasses Edu-tourism importance, with a view from within. This research has ≤ 38 respondents (from 29 regencies and 8 cities in East Java province) whose essence about monumental tourism preservation weightiness.

Abstract

In 2021 the Province of South Sumatra brought home 8 awards at the Anugrah Pesona Indonesia. It awarded one of the second place in the Burai Village award in the category of Most Popular Ecotourism Village in Indonesia. I conducted this research to explore the potential of ecotourism in Burai Village. This study uses a community-based research (CBR) approach which is implemented with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Some potentials found include building floating / non-permanent buildings on the river, make Lima's house and Bari house a homestay. , Pindang and Kemplang are special foods that tourists can enjoy., Song key and Purun are souvenirs from Burai Village, bummer dance as performance in Burai Village, offers several activities on community agricultural land without having to change the contents of the agricultural land.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan obyek salah satu resort di kota Malang yang mengalami pertumbuhan bisnis cukup pesat di dalam lingkungan destinasi wisata Malang. Fokus penelitian ini adalah kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji mekanisme leader member exchanget terhadap job performance dengan menggunakan work engagement sebagai mediasi. Studi kuantitatif ini didasarkan pada data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 100 responden karyawan tetap resort “XYZ” di Malang dan menggunakan teknik partial least square (PLS) untuk analisis data. Hasil analisis data menggunakan PLS menemukan bahwa work engagement memediasi hubungan antara leader member exchange dan job performance. Pengembangan kualitas hubungan leader dan karyawan amat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di sebuat tempat

Abstract

Istana Asserayah Al-Hasyimiah merupakan bangunan peninggalan Kesultanan Siak Sri Indrapura yang memiliki latar belakang sejarah kerajaan Melayu Islam terbesar di Riau. Namun dalam pengelolaan warisan budaya di kawasan Istana Asserayah Al-Hasyimiah saat ini belum berjalan optimal karena para pemangku kepentingan belum bersinergi dalam mendukung pengelolaan warisan budaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Menganalisis pengelolaan pariwisata warisan budaya di kawasan Istana Asserayah Al-Hasyimiah, mengidentifikasi partisipasi pemangku kepentingan dalam pengelolaan pariwisata warisan budaya, merumuskan model pengelolaan pengembangan pariwisata warisan budaya yang sesuai bagi pengelolaan kawasan Istana Asserayah Al-Hasyimiah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, focus group discussion (FGD). Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis etnografi untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi jenis dan peran para pemangku kepentingan dalam pengelolaan warisan budaya. Hasil dari analisis etnografi, usulan strategi pengelolaan pariwisata warisan budaya yang sesuai adalah model kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan dengan mengimplementasikan kepentingan bersama melalui sebuah forum yaitu Forum Komunikasi Pariwisata Siak agar pengelolaan kawasan Istana Asserayah Al-Hasyimiah dapat berjalan dengan baik.
