Edutourism Journal of Tourism Research (EJTR) published twice a year in June and December by Tourism Department of State Polytechnic of Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The publication of this journal is a scientific and applied journal in hospitality and tourism studies. The manuscript can be research papers, review articles, and conceptual, technical, and methodological papers on all aspects, including research findings, experimental design, analysis, and recent application in hospitality and tourism studies. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the positioning variable has a partial and simultaneous influence on tourists' decision to visit the Samarinda Unmul Botanical Garden? Which is the most dominant influence on the decision of tourists visiting the Botanical Gardens Unmul Samarinda? This study uses a Multiple Regression analysis to analyze research results. Ha accepted that there is an influence between the experimental concept on tourists' decision to visit. Thi's evidenced by the value of tcount> t table (3.049> 1.661), the significance is less than 0.05 (0.003).

Abstract

The emergence of the concept of ecotourism is one of the alternative travel forms that adopt the principles of sustainable tourism, and tourist activity is more focused on concern for the conservation of nature and culture. Kabo Jaya village next to the Kutai National Park(TNK) has a role as one entry and transit point for travellers. People in the town have a role in preparing some needs of tourists and travellers involved in up to KNP. Warga this village could not capitalize on tourists visiting optimally as potential economic benefits. Citizens who are members of the Travel Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) the need to identify an existing tourist attraction, be it cultural, agro, and natural attractions and the development of programs and activities of the development of the tourist attraction. The method used is the SWOT analysis. Internal review of tourism in the village of Kabo Jaya covering the aspects of strength (strength), weakness (weakness); and external assessment that includes opportunities (opportunity) and threats (threat). Tourist attraction owned by, among others, Fascination Nature (Prefab, Telaga Batu Arang and Tour Susur River), Tourist Attractions Art and Culture, Culinary and souvenirs, Special Interest Travel Attractions (Agro, Plantation, Ranch).

Abstract

We can rule the role of mothers today out for their role in domestic life. Mothers have been able to sustain family sustainability, especially in the economic field. Mothers can only wait at home and stand by and wait for their husbands, but they can play a greater role in supporting the economic needs of their families. But the question is whether mothers already have the skills to help support their family's economic needs? Based on this background, the authors conducted skills training for mothers, especially those who joined the PKK group by teaching ice cream making skills. In this article, we will discuss the training that will be given starting with the basic introduction, equipment, processing, packaging process so that they can sell to get profits for them. The training that takes place in the Ketupat Samarinda village across from this can later be expected by the mothers after the training will have the skills and can apply it at home so that it can help the family economy

Abstract

In 2005 Lung Anai Village was inaugurated by the Government of Kutai Kartanegara Regency as a cultural village based on the survey results and the cultural uniqueness of the Dayak Kenyah Tribe. Thus,on July 25, 2007 Lung Anai was established as a definitive village that stood alone by the Decree of the Kukar Regent No. 180,188 / HK-794/2007. The stipulation is expected to be able to boost economic development for the welfare of the community and increase the Kukar Regional Original Income (PAD) as well as to preserve the culture of Dayak Kenyah Lepoq Jalan tribes in Lung Anai Village. But in reality the goal has not been realized properly, until this year Lung Anai has not become a leading destination in Kukar. If observed in the literature, there is still a considerable gap with other cultural / tourist villages that have developed even independent in East Kalimantan. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the tourism potentials of Lung Abai village based on culture by conducting a community-based tourism (CBT) approach or community-based tourism. In addition, this research is also expected to be able to provide theoretical and technical recommendations for the Regional Government of Kutai Kartanegara District and stakeholders who have a common interest in developing the Lung Anai Cultural Village.

Abstract

Mangrove forests that live in coastal areas, besides being beneficial for human needs, also often clash with development interests such as ports, fish ponds, and tourist areas that threaten their sustainability. Wakatobi Regency has the potential of living natural resources in the form of coastal and marine resources which are quite large, including mangrove ecosystems, seagrass ecosystems and coral reef ecosystems. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of mangrove ecosystems and to design the development of mangrove forests as an ecotourism potential. This research is a descriptive-evaluative research, with a qualitative approach. This research is important as a consideration in the development of attractions, which are the main sector in Wakatobi Regency. Mangrove species that dominate throughout the Wakatobi region are Rhizophora spp, Avicennia spp. and Sonneratia spp. Based on the potential of each island in Wakatobi Regency, Kaledupa Island is a priority area to be developed into ecotourism. This study recommends the construction of several supporting facilities for ecotourism on Kaledupa Island. Suggestions and infrastructure include service facilities, trade facilities and accommodation facilities

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mendeskripsikan peran pendidikan pada penentuan paket wisata kampung kreatif yang mulai aktif berkembang di Kota Blitar. Peran pendidikan tidak luput dari kebutuhan wisatawan saat melakukan kegiatan pariwisata. Adanya dukungan dinas pariwisata untuk memberdayakan kampung kreatif di Kota Blitar tak lain karena program “MAYA JUWITA” (Masyarakat Berdaya Menuju Kota Pariwisata) antar Kota Blitar. Penelitian kualitatif dalam penelitian ini memberikan peran alaminya yaitu untuk mencari pemahaman, dan interpretasi berupa tafsiran fenomena yang dilihat peneliti melalui dinas kebudayaan dan pariwisata Kota Blitar pada kampung kreatif terkait tentang paket wisata edukasi. Implementasi kualitatif pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dimana peneliti menganalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif tentang fenomena yang terjadi pada Kampung kreatif di Kota Blitar. Hasil tersebut menunjukan penelitian peran pendidikan dalam penentuan paket wisata menjadikan kampung kreatif menemukan dampak positif yang cukup baik. Faktanya 80 % hasil survey beberapa kampung kreatif ada 8 dari 10 kampung kreatif di Kota Blitar menyertakan paket edukasi yang menjadi andalan untuk memberikan peluang peningkatan ekonomi warga sekitar kampung

Abstract

The Importance of the Program The Government builds good habits to improve quality human resources that are applied in various sectors, including tourism. President Joko Widodo in his speech stated several factors that strengthen HR, namely healthy, smart, skilled and prosperous. The role of the tourism industry today is very important, because its role can provide recommendations to improve the capabilities and expertise in the field of tourism human resources. This study aims to analyze the importance of tourism industry players being guided online learning in competency tests, so that there is equity in improving Tourism Human Resources in Indonesia both in education and human resources working in the tourism industry. This is reinforced by BNSP allowing the implementation of remote competency assessment / testing carried out by LSP in accordance with Number: SE: 011 / BNSP / IV / 2020 dated April 3, 2020. This research uses a qualitative approach, which is an inductive approach. This type of descriptive research with case study research methods. The results showed that planning, organizing, developing, controlling the financing of competency tests require the carrying capacity of many stakeholders, so that the process can run smoothly. The success of increasing human resources is greatly influenced by the conditions of security and political stability, the carrying capacity of human resources who have expertise according to both quality and quantity, the budget used to develop facilities and infrastructure for tourism competency testing, legal policies that provide convenience, security, transparency and comfort for actors the tourism industry in the process of conducting online assessments in various regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Salah satu agrowisata yang terdapat di Kota Blitar yaitu Agrowisata Belimbing Karangsari yang terletak di Kelurahan Karangsari. Di kelurahan ini memiliki potensi ekonomi lokal tanaman belimbing, karena besarnya potensi tersebut akhirnya dimanfaatkan sebagai agrowisata. Agrowisata ini menjadi sumber perekonomian bagi masyarakat setempat oleh karena itu agrowisata ini harus dikembangkan dengan strategi yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal yang dapat mempengaruhi pengembangan Agrowisata Belimbing Karangsari serta mengidentifikasi strategi yang tepat untuk mengembangkannya dalam rangka meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kekuatan internal utama Agrowisata Belimbing Karangsari adalah aspek sarana dan prasarana yang memadahi sedangkan kelemahan internalnya adalah kurangnya kebersihan dan mahalnya harga belimbing. Faktor peluang eksternal utamanya adalah adanya dukungan dari pemerintah dan terkenalnya buah belimbing yang berasal dari Blitar sedangkan ancaman eksternalnya adalah pohon belimbing yang hanya berbuah 3 tahun sekali. Hasil analisis IE menunjukkan bahwa Agrowisata Belimbing Karangsari berada pada kuadran II yang tepat untuk menerapkan strategi stability. Hasil analisis SWOT menghasilkan 14 alternatif strategi. Strategi yang menjadi prioritas utama berdasarkan analisis QSPM adalah strategi menyediakan fasilitas petik buah yang memadahi agar dapat bersaing dengan tempat wisata lain.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how potentially Banyuanyar Village to developed into tourism village. Tourism village is form of implementation community based tourism. A purpose from community based tourism is to encouraged local community so they can be more prosperous. A village can be developed as well to be tourism village if fullfill several criteria tourism development. They are “potential product or potential attraction in destination”, “local community”, “potential of local human resources”, “availability of facilities and infrastructure”, and “ability to create a tourism market”. Based from thos criteria, Banyuanyar village has enough potential to be developed as a tourism village. A strong aspect are found on the tourist attraction. Currently Banyuanyar Village has been visited by tourists but is still limited to the coffee segment. The weakness that still needs to be improved is the ability to create markets. Banyuanyar village is currently still having difficulties in making tour packages, and to determine the right market segment and the right marketing strategy.

Abstract

As an archipelago, Indonesia has huge potential to become a marine tourism destination, including cruise tourism. Cruise tourism is a very segmented tour and has developed into a complete, complex tourism business and at the same time being able to make a significant and promising contribution in the global tourism industry. This study seeks to assess the readiness of the Belawan port in providing support services to the complex cruise tourism. As an analysis tool, the approach of Manzano (2014) was used. The results of the study show that Belawan already has sufficient readiness to support cruise tourism, but also faces significant challenges so that the services provided can run continuously.
