Abstract

This research aims to improve memorization of Surah Al-Fatihah in MIN Buol students. The subject of the study was a student in class III MIN Buol. The study uses the Class Action method through two cycles that include planning, execution, observation, and reflection activities. The results showed that drill and practice methods can improve students' ability to memorize Surah Al-Fatihah. The increase in student learning outcomes in pre-cycles by 66.61% to 80.68% in cycle I, and increased quite significantly to 91.43 in cycle II. The classical completion value of 64.82% also increased to 78.36% in cycle I, and increased quite significantly by 88.57% in cycle II. Drill and practice methods can improve students' learning outcomes and ability to memorize short surahs in the Quran. Drill and practice methods can be applied to Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students.

Abstract

The problems experienced by the community today are increasingly complex and diverse, and have become entrenched in the community environment, especially regarding character education. The educational process that aims to educate and shape the human personality to be better provides challenges to a learning in the classroom with characteristics and problems brought by students. It is ironic to hear good news on TV, social media, the Internet, which shows unnatural behavior seen by students in school, especially in elementary school; Students who dare to beat their parents, speed on the highway, criminality, or even acts of violence either committed by students or their parents. Based on the statement, the implementation of character education to the learning process in MI becomes a must that must be done and applied, because it is considered able to make learners become smarter, and able to educate learners who have manners and character and make learners become useful individuals in their families or in the community. This study uses the ADDIE model's Development Research Method (R&D) with qualitative data analysis techniques (Miles and Haberman), because the topics raised by researchers relate to the development of "Character Education" Teaching Materials related to social problems or student behavior, and "Character Formation" in the learning process in schools/madrasah.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of religious culture on the spiritual intelligence of learners. This research uses survey research methods. The population in this study was all 4th and 5th grade students of MI Nurul Huda Margorejo. The results showed that in analyzing religious culture at MI Nurul Huda Margorejo by using a test in the form of questionnaires and spiritual intelligence in the form of questionnaires, the calculation was carried out "One-Sample T Test using the SPSS program version 16 obtained significant results of 0.306 ≥ 0.05. It stated that the residual value of normal distribution indicates a change in religious culture with the spiritual intelligence of MI student Nurul Huda Margorejo.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of the learning process of Mathematics subjects through jigsaw learning models. This research was conducted at MTs Negeri 1 Indramayu Year of Study 2019/2020 with the research subjects of class VIII students. This study using the Class Action Research (PTK) method was conducted in 2 cycles. The results showed that the application of jigsaw learning models can improve student learning achievement both in terms of classical completion of student learning, shown in cycle I by 68%, increased to 100% in cycle II. Students' learning activity levels also increased from 3.1 with moderately active categories in cycle I to 4.1 with active categories showing a 10% increase. Jigsaw learning models can be applied to MTs students to improve the learning outcomes of math subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the students’ achievement and involvement during the online learning by using the applications of Google Workspace. The subjects of the research were the students of grade 9B of MTs Negeri 1 Bantul in the academic year 0f 2021/2022. The research implemented the stages of Class Action Research through two cycles that include planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting activities. The result showed that the use of Google Workspace is able to improve the students’ achievement and involvement in the online learning. The improvement of students’ achievement can be seen from the increasing of the mean of evaluation which was 77,5% on Cycle 1 and 84% on Cycle 2. There was also increasing on the number of students who are able to exceed the passing grade that was 76% on Cycle 1 and 82.1% on Cycle 2. The students’ involvement is also improved. The numbers of students involved in Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 were 81.3%.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of madrasah head supervision in increasing teacher creativity in managing the classroom. This research was conducted at MTsN 1 Gunungkidul with the object of 25 teachers consisting of 23 teachers with civil servant status and 2 Non-civil servant teachers. The study uses the Class Action method through two cycles that include planning, observation, action, and reflection activities. The results showed forms of teacher creativity in classroom management including classroom planning, classroom organizing, classroom direction, classroom coordination, classroom communication, and classroom control. While the role of supervision of madrasah heads on teacher creativity in classroom management is as a leader, as a giver of training and guidance, and as a motivation for teaching activities for teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the learning outcomes of class X MIA IA learners on the subjects of the Qur'an Hadith before and after using the discovery learning model. This study uses the Class action method. The research subject is a student of class X MIA 1A MAN 3 Parigi Semester I of the 2021-2022 School Year. The results showed that learning by applying discovery learning methods had a positive impact in improving learners' learning achievement which was characterized by an increase in learning completion in each cycle, namely cycle I increased by 70%, an increase quite significantly in cycle II by 86%. Thus the discovery learning model can be applied to students at the Madrasah Aliyah level to improve their learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence between teacher professional competency variables on teacher performance controlled by work ethic variables and find out the magnitude of influence between variables. This study was located at SMK Daarul Abroor Tasikmalaya with a total sampling method that took the overall population of 40 people. The independent variable in the study was professional competence (X), while the dependent variable was teacher performance (Y). In addition, there are control variables in the form of work ethic (Z). Data collection instruments use questionnaires (questionnaires) as well as documentation. The data analysis method in this study consists of descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using statistical product and service solution (SPSS) version 22. Based on the results of the comparison between the bivariate correlation coefficient with the partial correlation coefficient obtained ryx > ryx.z = 0.807 > 0.519. From the comparison it can be concluded that professional competence can affect the performance of teachers because it is controlled by work ethic. In multiple regression analysis, there is a positive and significant influence between professional competence (X) on teacher performance (Y) through work ethic control variable (Z) with a coefficient of determination R2 of 0.706 with a significance value of 0.000 or less than α = 0.05. That is, the teacher performance variable (Y) can be explained by professional competency variable (X) and work ethic variable (Z) of 70.6%. The double regression equation is Y= 0.195X + 0.504X + 0.362X. Thus, in order for professional competence to be able to contribute to teacher performance, it must be supported by the work ethic of each individual teacher.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the ability of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in making simple learning media with paint and power points for the teaching and learning process. The ability of teachers in making learning media can make it easier to achieve learning goals as specified in the learning implementation plan. This research uses action research methods and is carried out in two cycles. The results showed that individualized supervision techniques are one form of assistance focused on individual activities related to improving the quality of learning. The implementation of supervise conducted with guidance and training can improve the teacher's ability to create learning media with paint and power points. In cycle I, of the 8 teachers who were objected, 3 teachers or 37.50% were sufficiently cryptic and 5 teachers or 62.50% were less cryptic. The cycle I average value of 66.88 increased in cycle II to 84.58 or increased by 27.66%. After being given action on cycle II the ability of 8 teachers to make learning media with paint and power paint to 100%, 7 teachers got good criteria, one of which with very good criteria with a score of 92.78 or 12.50%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of the learning process and know the improvement of fractional material mathematical learning outcomes through the application of jigsaw-type cooperative learning models. This research uses action research methods carried out in stage 2 of the cycle. The research subject is Class IX-A MTs Negeri 1 Indramayu Year of Study 2017/2018. The results showed the learning process was natural and the quality of learning was more important than the results. In terms of the completion of student learning classically, namely in cycle I by 69%, it can increase to 100% in cycle II and in terms of the average value of evaluation results, namely in cycle I by 71.9 to 80 in cycle II with an increase of 8.1%. The results of this study also showed an increase in the level of student learning activity from 3.2 with the Category Of ModerateLy Active in cycle I to 4.6 active category in cycle II, with an increase of 1.4. The jigsaw type cooperative learning model can be applied to students in class IX madrasah Tsanawiyah.
