Abstract

The purpose this research is to identify and explain the nature of man according Ahmad Tafsir and his views about the Islamic education. Knowing human nature is the first step that must be known in the implementation of education, because knowing that the concepts of Islamic education can be formulated in accordance with the nature of man. But many Islamic educational institution hasn’t give a attention about that, financial, and implement the Islamic educational concept, making it less able to develop the institution. Through the idea of Ahmad Tafsir is expected to contribute to both improve the quality of Islamic education institution. This research is librabry research with documentation research techniques. The result from this study is that the man is a servant of God who made the caliph of God Wich can be guided through the educational institution to increase their potential.Keyword: Concept, Islamic Education, Ahmad Tafsir

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of character education in Indonesia an Islamic perspective. Some things are a matter of concern is the declining values of character, it is marked by moral degradation of youth, ranging from fighting between students, drugs, violence, murder and others. Various attempts were made to address the moral decadence of the young generation, among whom was the launching of character education in environmental education, both formal and non-formal. This study is a literature study or (library research) by making the life history K.H Abdul Wahid Hashim and some works tulisanya as research objects. This study uses data collection techniques documentation. After doing research on the life history K.H Abdul Wahid Hasyim and some of his papers, produced two findings. First, there are twelve values of character education that seeks implanted K.H Abdul Wahid Hasyim. Twelve of these values are; religious values, the values of tolerance, the value of discipline, values of hard work, the value of an independent, democratic values, creative values, the value of the national spirit, the value of patriotism, the value of friends / communicative, fond of reading and the value of curiosity value. While both findings in this study, explained that the values of character education K.H Abdul Wahid Hasyim in line with the goal of character education. He sought to build a national life of a multicultural, build a civilization of intelligent, cultured noble, and capable of contributing to the development of human life, developing the potential of the base in order to be good, good thoughts, and behave well and exemplary good, to build a sense of citizenship that loves peace, creative, independent, and able to coexist with other nations in a harmony.Keyword: Character Education, KH. Abstract

Islamic educational institutions are expected to produce human resources who is faithful and devoted to have insight into the science and technology. Abstract

Character education can be interpreted simply form the character, temperament, character and personality of a person by instilling noble values, so the values are ingrained, united in heart, mind, word and deed and showed its influence in the reality of life is easy, on his own, original and as sincere for Allah alone. Planting and personality formation was carried out not only by giving understanding and change mindsets and patterns of view of someone about something that is good and true, but good values are socialized, trained, exemplified, performed continuously and practiced in the daily lives day.Psychologically humans are per se there are various psychological tendencies or dislike something. Psychologically man happy about new things, funny and intriguing. Besides humans also have the feeling of wanting to be appreciated, wanted company, want to be praised, to be given a gift or something and so forth. Thus the human psychological state that it should be used as a door to instill the values of character education. Abstract

Internalization approach is a value investment technique which has the target at the stage of ownership value that blends into the personality of the student, or to the extent of characterization. The stages of this internalization technique are (1) the stage of value transformation(2) the stage of the value transaction and (3) the stage of trans-internalization. This Cognitive Moral Development Approach is aimed to encourage students to think actively about moral issues and make moral decisions. According to this approach, moral development was seen as a development of level of thinking in making moral judgments, from a lower level to the higher level of thinking. This approach was done in several stages, those were through: (1) presenting moral dilemmas. (2) after the problematic moral dilemmas presented, followed by deviding group discussions. After that, (3) bring the results of group discussions to the class discussions, with the aim of clarifying values, creating alternatives and consequences; (4) after students discussing intensively and selecting some of selected values based on the alternative proposed, then they can organize the values selected into themselves.Keywords:Character, Education, Cognitive ,Moral, Development .

Abstract

This paper analyzes the contributions of Shaykh Muhammad ‘Abduh to modernity, and his struggle for change and reform in Egyptian society. Abduh was hailed as the “first leader of modern thought in Egypt”, “the father of the 20th century Muslim thought” and “pioneers of the modernist movement in the Arab world”, whose legacy in the history of Islamic reform was significant, carrying dynamic role in the transformation and reinterpretation of Islam in contemporary thought. His contribution to Islamic modernism was clearly seen in liberalizing the educational system, transforming the Islamic worldview, and integrating western and Islamic ideals and tradition. Keywords: Muhammad Abduh, Islamic modernism, educational reform.

Abstract

Indonesia as a country that has a wide range of cultural, ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds are different, plurality on the one hand provide the social power, but on the other hand is a challenge when it is not properly managed.Islamicboarding school as an educational institution that has a history of nation-building in Indonesia, ofcourse can be a forum in implementing multicultural education in the face of diversity.This paper describes the multicultural education at Islamic boarding school as a strategy to fostering thesocial soul in diversity.In its implementation does not distinguish from each other ranging from groups such as gender, ethnicity, race, culture, social background through treatment. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the real efforts of Islamization of science and its implications tehadap Islamic education, and to prove that the idea of Islamization of knowledge is one of the phenomena of contemporary thinking movement activists of the Islamic world in the Era of the 1970s until the early 1980s. Operationally this study apply the methods of data analysis. The use of descriptive data analysis methods intended to analyze the thoughts and ideas of Islamization of science and its implications for the foundations of Islamic education. The primary sources referenced in this research is the work of thought Ismail al-Faruqi related to the concept of Islamization of knowledge with other Muslim thinkers like Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas as it is known that since the onslaught of the discourse of Islamization knowledge, it invites experts to discuss. Among Muslim scholars have argued the importance of science to believe that science is necessary for Islamize, considering science in their outlook had been poisoned ideology and values of Western philosophy that much against the teachings of Islam. Al-Faruqi and Al-Attas appeared in their midst as the two central figures that are persistent and critical devote his ideas in modern science Islamization program. In their minds, the reality of the education that develops today embraces two educational systems, namely the system of Islamic education and secular education system, within the framework of the Islamisation of knowledge of both education system should be integrated into a system that is holistic so create education system  powerful both materially and spiritually. Keywords: Islamization, Science, Islamic Education

Abstract

The function of mass mediacommunity has not run balanced.Especially with regard to social control and provide information regarding the importance of education to the general public.Local media in Metro Lampung has not been seriously considered as a comprehensive educational media. In fact, the mass media has a function to educate, entertain, inform, and as social control.The question in this article, how to revitalize the local SSB radio 92.1 FM in Kota Metro Lampung as educational media perspective Media Industry ?. This paper uses the theory of Industry(Branston dan Stafford: 2018-261).As the local media in Metro Lampung should be revitalized as a medium of education, through partnerships with LSM, foundations, private companies and others in order to obtain lucrative advertising.Local media industry has potential as a learning medium that is comprehensive and easily accepted by society.
