Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian ekologi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kawasan Hutan Pau, Desa Weluk Praimemang, Kabupaten Sumba Tengah. Adapun populasi dari penelitian ini adalah semua jenis tumbuhan obat yang terdapat di Kawasan Hutan Pau. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah tumbuhan obat yang ditemukan pada setiap stasiun penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Hutan Pau Desa Weluk Praimemang Kabupaten Sumba tengah dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Keanekaragaman tumbuhan obat di Hutan Pau Desa Weluk Praimemang Kabupaten Sumba tengah secara umum dapat dikategorikan tinggi dengan indeks keanekaragaman (Ĥ)=3,526.

Abstract

The community service program held at Permata Harapan Middle School aims to increase interest in learning and motivate students to have an enthusiastic spirit in completing their education. One of the efforts to make this happen, the PKM team created a counseling room for students as a place to find solutions to any difficulties they experienced. This counseling activity is a process to provide assistance in order to accompany students to find a way out of each of their problems. The method used in this activity is a qualitative descriptive method which is carried out in three stages. First is preparation, where the team makes observations at the activity site, then compiles what partners need, secondly implementation, this stage the team guides and conducts counseling for students and finally the evaluation stage which measures the extent to which this activity was successful. Through this activity students are motivated and experience an increased interest in learning to complete their education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of breeding Durian (Durio zibethinus) in CV. The Work of Independent Farmers in Langkat Regency. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling method. Purposive Sampling is every subject taken from the population to be studied is selected deliberately based on certain goals and considerations. To find out whether the business is feasible or not, it can be used by analyzing the business by calculating production costs, calculating revenues, and analyzing results then calculating the results using the R/C Ratio and B/C Ratio methods. The results showed that the R/C Ratio value was 2.13 and the B/C Ratio value was 1.13, so it can be concluded that the durian seed breeding business at CV. Karya Tani Mandiri in Langkat Regency is feasible to run.

Abstract

Abstract

Salah satu tugas perkembangan dewasa awal adalah mempersiapkan pernikahan. Sebelum menikah individu akan mengenal satu sama lain dengan berpacaran. Cinta berperan penting dalam sebuah hubungan. Selain itu dalam memilih pasangan mempertimbangkan kepribadiannya. Namun dalam berpacaran terkadang pasangan dihadapkan dengan hubungan jarak jauh. Tujuan penelitian menguji hubungan antara kepribadian (big five personality) dengan cinta (triangular theory of love) pada dewasa awal yang menjalin hubungan jarak jauh. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 partisipan yang menjalani hubungan jarak jauh minimal 3 bulan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala Big Five Inventory-44 (BFI-44) dan Triangular Love Scale (TLS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa agreeableness memiliku hubungan positif signifikan dengan cinta (triangular theory of love). Namun ekstraversion, conscientiousness, neurotism dan opennes tidak memiliki hubungan dengan cinta (triangular theory of love).

Abstract

Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Industry in the WP (Wood Preparation) section (bark separator) there are many machines that make noise with noise intensity above the average TLV of 85 dB. The source of the resulting noise, namely from production machines, puts workers at risk of hearing loss. This research is an analytical study with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Industry in the WP (Wood Preparation) section. The research sample is workers in the production section of PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Industry in the WP (Wood Preparation) section totaling 90 people. The sampling technique was the total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test and the Khrushall Wallis test. A total of 64.4% of respondents had no hearing loss, 24.4% of respondents had conductive hearing loss, 11.1% of respondents had sensory hearing loss. The average noise intensity is 91.23 dB, the average working period of the respondents is 20.68 years and as many as 72.5% of respondents have used Personal Protective Equipment according to SNI. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between noise intensity (p = 0.003), years of service (p = 0.000) and the use of personal protective equipment (p = 0.016) with hearing loss among workers in the WP department at PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Industry. It is recommended that companies perform worker job rotation so that workers are not at risk of hearing loss

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the mind mapping method on the conceptual understanding of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 064987 Medan. This type of research is a quasi experiment using a nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 064987 Medan with the research subjects being students of class IVA and IVB, totaling 54 students. This study consists of the dependent variable, namely conceptual understanding and the independent variable, namely the mind mapping method. Data collection techniques and instruments used in research are tests. The data analysis technique used was a hypothesis test with a t-test to see differences in understanding the concept of the experimental group and the control group with a significant level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the mind mapping method on the understanding of the concepts of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 064987 Medan. This influence is proven by the results of the t-test in the posttest of the experimental group and the control group, namely sig 0.014 <0.05 and tcount 2.548 > ttable 2.006. So, it can be concluded that there are differences in conceptual understanding between students who are taught by the mind mapping method and students who are taught by conventional methods

Abstract

This study uses Research and Development methods to develop teaching materials in the form of learning links that contain thematic learning materials, namely cultural themes. This research and development aims to produce new products through the development process. Therefore, teaching materials that have been developed with all efforts are also expected to achieve maximum results. The process of developing teaching materials refers to the research and development process, including the steps that the author must take to achieve the research objectives. Based on research that has been carried out on the development of cultural maps learning media with the help of storyline 3 application in thematic learning in fourth grade elementary school, the author uses the 4D Development Model (Define, Design, Develov, and Disseminate.) verified by media validators, material validators, and learning validators, who have met the development stages. The results obtained from the student's test met the very good standard of 91.87%.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the process of developing miniature media for land transportation in geometry learning that is suitable for use in elementary schools. This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely. Analysis (Analysis). Design (Design). Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation) and Evaluation (Evaluation). In this development the ADDIE development model is carried out only up to the 3rd stage, namely Development. The instruments used were a material expert questionnaire, a media expert questionnaire and a learning expert questionnaire to determine the feasibility of miniature land transportation media in the developed geometry learning. Based on the validation results from the material expert validator, a percentage of 80% was obtained with the "Decent" criteria. From the validation results of media experts, it was obtained a percentage of 96% with the criteria of "Very Eligible". From the results of the validation of learning experts, a percentage of 92% was obtained with the "Very Eligible" criteria. From the assessment of the three expert validators, it can be said that the miniature media for land transportation in geometry learning which was developed "Very Feasible" is used in the geometry learning process in class IVSD
