Abstract

Continuous development causes changes in land use from open spaces as water catchment areas to become residential areas. The change in function of water catchment land causes rainwater that falls on the land not to enter the soil, but overflows on the surface of the soil. During the rainy season, most of the water will be discharged directly into the sea, otherwise it will cause puddles and flooding. Meanwhile, during the dry season, many groundwater sources experience drought. Naturally, groundwater shortages can be overcome if the management system is handled properly.The formulation of the problem in this study is how to apply infiltration wells to control rainwater puddles in residential areas.The working principle of an infiltration well is to distribute and collect rainwater into a hole or well, where the rainwater on the ground will then slowly seep into the ground. Below the ground, this seeping water will seep into the soil layer called the unsaturated layer, where this layer can still absorb water. Thus, the entry of rainwater into the ground will increase groundwater. The application of infiltration wells in residential areas requires calculation of the area covered by buildings and watertight. The number of infiltration well areas that need to be made is 4% of the watertight area.

Abstract

Research on the development of soil from vulkan material in the toposcopic southern  Bangli Region as for the purpose of the study is as follows: (1) the process of formation and development of soil formed from toposcopic volcanic material in the southern, Bangli Region (2) obtain data on soil characteristics in the southern Bangli Region (3) knowing the potential of land for agricultural management in the southern, Bangli Region.This research was carried out with methods of soil survey, laboratory analysis, and supported with secondary data. Three profiles that represent Local Topography is selected based on the height of the different places, profile (N-1) with an altitude of 850 metres above sea level, profile (N-2) with an altitude of 540 metres above sea level, and the profile (N-1) h with an altitude of 200 metres above sea level. A third profile is have the same slope direction that is the direction the southern slope.Parent material formed in the area of research is derived from volcanic material, namely tuff deposits of lava and Vulcan of Buyan and Beratan, Batur, Ancient. Research areas included in the climate type A (very wet). The process of genesis of soils that occur in research is to the top slopes are experiencing a process of erosion, the middle slopes of the transport process and foot slopes of the deposition process.Third that profile has undergone a process of horisonisasi. The level of development of land is at the stage of virile. The characteristics of the soil a bit sour, cation exchange capacity of low to medium, base saturation is low to moderate, organic material is very low to low, the texture of the sand very clay to clay. Types of minerals found in the third profile dominated by halloysite minerals.Based on the results of research affect soil properties that are formed. On the top slopes are formed very deep in the depths of the solum 177 centi metres, middle slopes formed solum in depth 153 centi metres and foot slopes formed a shallow at a depth of solum 137 centi metres. Bangli area Southern potentially in support of plant growth and increase agricultural production.

Abstract

The Balinese layout has its own uniqueness and pattern. This can be seen from the traditional Balinese spatial patterns which are closely related to the customs and noble values of Balinese culture, namely things that are considered good and valuable in the continuation of community and cultural life including various abstract elements consisting of philosophical elements, values , Concepts, Norms and Rules. The existence of an urban area is inseparable from its identity, the identity of an area is the uniqueness of conditions, characteristics and the creation of images in someone's mind that has never been understood before, this is the concept of identity that distinguishes them from other cities. identity in each region is needed even as the main requirement for the concept of development and identity of a city area. This study uses a qualitative method by applying descriptive approaches, hermeneutics and literature studies. This study aims to see what spatial patterns in Bali can be the identity of urban areas. From the understanding of this study, the benefits and results obtained at the conceptual level of explanation of Balinese spatial patterns can be used as markers of city identity in terms of meaning and enthusiasm. going forward, the results of this study are expected to be an input in determining the identity patterns of urban area development

Abstract

This research had done base on case study in the feeder of substation 20 kV Jababeka. Existing data showed that condition is well with not too long differential, over all setting on the Overcurrent Relay (OCR) – Ground Fault Relay (GFR) in the field is well. From calculated result can be seem that current of short circuit disturb is influenced by distance between disturbance points. Using over current relay has important purpose in the protection of electricity system. The qualification need setting minimum time of over current relay in the feeder not less than 0.3 second. This consider to the relay will not in trip condition in rush current from distribution transformator that has been connected in the distribution system when the feeder starts operated. Starting time for relay in the feeder is faster than work time in the incoming side with average time about 0.4 second for one phase disturbance side. But for three phase and two phase disturbance side, work time relay has interval time about 0.4 second and than increase with average increament about 0.1 second when transmission line is longer (from distance aspects about 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%).

Abstract

An industrial process is a work system that supports each other from each part in it. Work systems that are not ergonomic in a company such as ways, attitudes and work positions will affect productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of workers in completing their work. In the dodol wrapping section of SMEs ria shows that there is a discrepancy between work facilities used by workers in the dodol packaging section is not in accordance with the anthropometry of the worker's body causing complaints of pain in workers this is indicated in the results of the body map questionnaire conducted after the completion of work 100% of workers feel very painful complaints on the shoulders, neck, back, waist, buttocks, buttocks, knees, calves, legs, and arms. 100% do not feel pain in elbows and hands. All the pain felt by these workers is caused by working cross-legged sitting on the floor and bowing for a long time. Therefore, the design and implementation of work facilities are carried out in accordance with the anthropometry of workers in the form of desks and work chairs. The design was taken from the anthropometric measurements of workers, the anthropometric data of the workers taken for the design of work facilities was the 50-th percentile. After the implementation of ergonomic work facilities, there was a reduction of complaints to the workers after they finished working. 70% of workers felt the pain and 30% felt pain in the neck, shoulders, arms, back, waist, buttocks, buttocks. 80% of workers suffer from pain and 20% pain in arms, wrists, thighs, buttocks, knees, calves and legs. The productivity of workers on the packaging section also increases between 15% and 22%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to solve the problems related to the optimization of the customer service scheduling system in Indosat Ooredoo Office Kuta Branch by implementing the concept of graph coloring, namely the application of the Welch Powell algorithm. This research was a case study. Data obtained from observations and interviews. The data analyzed is a pre-existing customer service scheduling system. The scheduling system obtained will be analyzed further by using Welch Powell's algorithm to solve problems related to the formation of mobile selling teams and its schedule. Before being analyzed using the Welch Powell algorithm, the scheduling system is represented in graph form. There was a Welch Powell algorithm that is 1) Sort the vertices of G in decreasing degrees; 2) Use one color to color the first node (which has the highest degree) and other vertices that do not match the first node; 3) Start again with the next highest degree node in the ordered list that has not been colored and repeat the process of node transfer using the second color. Based on the results of the analysis, the number of existing customer services can be formed into three teams with alternating mobile selling schedules in one week. This is more efficient than the previous scheduling system that determined the mobile selling team based on the employee's work shift. Based on this, the implementation of the Welch Powell algorithm can solve the problem of scheduling system optimization in the Indosat Ooredoo Customer Service Division of the Kuta Branch theoretically.

Abstract

Gracilaria is one of valuable and demanding aquaculture commodities in Indonesia. The purpose of the study was to know and understand the cultivation of seaweed Gracilaria sp. The study was done from 6 February 2017 until 6 May 2017 in Domas Village, Pontang, Serang, Banten. Data on management, technical, and financial were collected by attending seaweed farmer’s culture activities and interviewing them. Observed site was specifically located at Crocoh, Kali Domas and Teluk. There were 33 ponds of polyculture between Gracilaria and milkfish. The average growth rate of seaweed cultured by farmer in Crocoh and Kali Domas were 1,95% and 1,53%, respectively. Meanwhile in Teluk region had growth rate of 3%; 2,1% and -32%. Result of final biomass relative to first sown seed biomass (100 gram) of treatment of spreading every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and control (without spreading) were 9 fold, 8 fold, and 5 fold. The result of measurement of several water quality parameter were temperature 29-39˚C, salinity 0-31 g/l, pH 6-8, nitrate 0-50 mg/l, phosphate 0,1-2 mg/l, and potassium 200-420 mg/l. Most of the ponds had light penetration until buttom of the pond with the depth of the water about 9-50 cm. Daily duration to add water was 4 hours at night and 3 hours in early morning to throw water. Pests and diseases found during study were Hypnea muscoformis, Achanthopora, Chaetomorpha, Lingbya, Siganus sp., Lates calcalifer, Sillago sihama, and ice- ice. The polyculture between Gracilaria and milkfish was feasible to be continuesly developed because it had average of investment Rp 3,900,350,-; fixed cost Rp17,468,739,-; variable cost Rp45,632,919,-; profit Rp34,100,258,- with four ponds suffered losses, B/C ratio 1.65; BEP (unit) 16,828 kg, BEP (price) Rp94,235,182,-; PP 55 years 6 months and ROI 5.3%.

Abstract

In a business, profit is a must to reckoned with. Many factors affect the profits of a business, among them, the cost of production, operating costs, selling price, the number of penjulan and others. This study aims to analyze the maximum profit on a business theoretically. This research is a qualitative research using case study method. In this case, the researcher takes the sales data of Cahaya Bintang which is a business in the field of printing. The object of research is the advantage of selling business card and invoice book. Maximum profit will be analyzed by using derivative concept. The steps taken in determining the maximum benefit using the concept of derivatives are: 1) Determine the function of cost, demand function, acceptance function and profit function; 2) Define the first derivative of the profit function; 3) Determining the critical point of the first derivative of the profit function; 4) Analysis of critical point by using second derivative. Based on the results of the analysis using the concept of derivatives, sales of business card and invoice book will achieve maximum profits if the company is able to sell 309 boxes per month and for invoice book of 199 rim per month. Sales of business cards and invoice book in the previous month were below the maximum value determined based on the analysis results. Therefore the profit earned in the previous month has not reached the maximum profit.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the business opportunities for making educational game tools during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was a qualitative research using literature study method. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The development of children's abilities during this pandemic cannot be underestimated. Parents and teachers must work together to create an effective learning for children. In designing an interesting and effective learning, one must use learning media that can attract children's interest. Therefore educational play tools were a solution to the problems faced by most parents during this pandemic. Educational play tools become a medium for creating meaningful learning activities for children. Seeing the importance of this educational game tool, the public's demand for this media was increasing. This was one of the factors that made selling educational game tools a promising business opportunity. Several manufacturers that produce educational games have experienced an increase in the number of orders and this has resulted in an increase in sales turnover. Business opportunities in the sale of educational game tools based on market analysis will continue to increase. This was because parents' awareness of child development was increasing. Based on this, to start a business in this field a number of things that must be done are starting to become a reseller, expanding the sales network, increasing cooperation with foundations engaged in child education and looking for craftsmen partners to start producing their own.

Abstract

The current competition among banking institutions has made customers more careful in choosing trusted banking institutions. If the customer gets a service that is not in accordance with what is desired, the management can lose customer confidence. In the end, customers will look for other banking institutions. This is a loss for management. Management should improve service quality to continue to gain customer trust and can continue to grow. Therefore, banking institutions need to create a Service Standard for the minimum implementation of banking services that are in accordance with the wishes of customers. This study aims to determine the standard of service that is in accordance with the wishes of customers and to prioritize the quality of service improvements that should be given to BRI bank customers at the Bangli office. The approach taken is the Kano method to categorize customer desires into the Kano category, the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method to translate customer desires into what must be produced by bank management and the Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ) Theory method to improve mutual technical responses contradict. This study uses a questionnaire as a research instrument. Through the results of questionnaires it is known that 10 desires are needed by customers and are grouped based on 3 dimensions of Canoe. The results of categorizing attributes with Kano show that there are still categorized attributes as must be and one dimensional, meaning that there still needs to be a form of improvement from the management of the bank. From the formation of the House of Quality (HOQ) matrix, it is known that the variable "documentation and information" is the first priority in efforts to improve with the highest importance level of 19.58% and difficulty level 13.10%.
