Abstract

NCT Dream is one of the Korean Wave or Hallyu phenomena that is being loved by the Indonesian people. This study aims to find out how the process of meaning that NCTzen students have for uploading NCT Dream attracts sympathy from the Indonesian people (on the upload of Goyang Mendung Tanpo Udan on NCT Dream's Official Instagram) ). The researcher used audience reception analysis techniques and Stuart Hall's coding-decoding theory. Researchers used research methods in the form of qualitative. In this case, the data was obtained through in-depth interviews with NCTzen students, namely Martha, Aqwika, Aqwina, and Septy into three categories namely Hegemony-Dominant, Negotiation, and Opposition. The results showed that in this phenomenon; there were three informants in the Hegemony-Dominant category and one in the Negotiation category. This study found that the post can cause a sense of pride because of the adoption of local Indonesian culture, but this sympathy can be reduced by the negative stigmas that develop.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the KOMPAKS community communication network in cat care. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive with communication network analysis techniques. The population of this study is the KOMPAKS Community. Snowball Sampling technique for sampling while data retrieval using questionnaires and interviews is not structured. Data analysis techniques use communication network techniques with the help of the UCINET 6 application. The result of this study is, the first pattern of communication network structure formed in the Kompaks community is the structure of the Roda communication network. Both roles of communication network structure in the KOMPAKS Community found roles, neglected. Third, in this study, there are no clicks because the terms and conditions on the click do not have a KOMPAKS Community communication network in cat care. The four leaders of the opinion that there are 6 people in the network have an important role in influencing and increasing the participation of community members in cat care. Fifth in this study there are 4 types of innovation adopters in research, namely, innovator, early adopter, early majority, late majority.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and provide an explanation of the description of group cohesiveness in the Sidoarjo mangan community. This research method is descriptive quantitative with the subject of volunteer members in the Sidoarjo mangan community, totaling 138 people. Determination of the subject using a saturated sampling technique. Saturated sampling technique is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used. The variable in this study is group cohesiveness. The data collection in this study used a psychological preparation scale, namely the Likert scale for the group cohesiveness variable made by the researcher. Analysis of the data in this study using the help of SPSS 18.0 forum windows and Microsoft Excel. The results of data analysis showed that volunteer members of the Sidoarjo mangan community had group cohesiveness in the medium category with a percentage value of 70.3%, which means that volunteer members were able to bring about group cohesiveness when they were in the Sidoarjo mangan community.

Abstract

Communities in Indonesia are created from various kinds according to the benefits and objectives of the community, one of which is a social community, for example, is assistance given to people who are less fortunate and in need of assistance. it can be interpreted that the quality of communication is integrated with the quality of the community. This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication between volunteers and street children in the Save Street Child community in Sidoarjo. The results of this study show that interpersonal communication between volunteers and street children is very effective with openness, empathy, support, a sense of positivity, and equality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of persuasive communication of the Kali Pecabean Village apparatus in disciplining residents to implement health protocols during the Coid-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The object of this research is persuasive communication regarding health protocols carried out by village officials. The data collection process is carried out by means of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation, then the data will be analyzed in three ways, namely data reduction, data presentation and finally drawing conclusions. The results show that (1) Persuasive communication of village officials in disciplining residents in implementing health protocols is considered very effective by the community because it has quite good changes. From changes in society that finally wear masks and avoid crowds. (2) The strengthening of the arguments of the Kali Pecabean community does not only come from communications made by the Village apparatus, but from public knowledge related to the increasing Covid-19 cases and providing evidence that Covid-19 exists. (3) The psychological attractiveness of the Kali Pecabean village community is influenced by the large number of people exposed to Covid-19 in the Pecabean River area, making it one of the factors for community change regarding the importance of maintaining health and implementing health protocol discipline.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the phenomenon of the readiness of children to enter elementary school carried out by grade 1 elementary school students in Trompoasri village. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between family well-being and the readiness of children to enter elementary school by 1st grade elementary school children. This type of research is correlational quantitative research. The variables in this study were family well being as the independent variable and the readiness of children to enter elementary school as the dependent variable. The population in this study was 57 students. The sample in this study amounted to 53 students from a total population of 57 students. Sampling was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique in the form of saturated sampling. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between family well-being and the readiness of children to enter elementary school in grade 1 elementary school children.Data analysis using Pearson product moment correlation technique with the help of SPSS 26.0 for windows program. Based on the results of the analysis of this study, the correlation coefficient is 0.295 with a significance value (0.044 < 0.05), meaning that there is a positive relationship between family well-being and the readiness of children to enter elementary school for grade 1 elementary school children in Trompoasri village. The higher the family well being, the higher the readiness of children to enter elementary school, and vice versa, the lower the family well being, the lower the readiness of children to enter elementary school.

Abstract

The implementation of public services must have service standards, as a guarantee of certainty for local governments in serving the community or the public in general in carrying out their duties and functions and for service recipients in the process of submitting their application. The purpose of the study was to influence the quality of population administration on community satisfaction in the government of Ploso Village, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative analysis method. The number of samples as many as 188 respondents using non-probability sampling technique with the type of accidental sampling. Sources of data used using primary data with a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with t and f test tools. The results of the t-test study found that the variables of responsiveness, reliability, assurance, empathy, tangibles had a positive and significant influence on community satisfaction, this can be proven that the significance value is more than 0.05. The results of the joint test show that the service quality variables which include the dimensions of Responsiveness, Reability, Assurance, Empathy and Tangible have a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction in the Ploso Village Government, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency, this is evidenced by the obtained Fcount of 124.578 , a significance value of 0.000 < : 0.05. The results of the multiple correlation coefficient test (R) of 0.797 indicate that the correlation between the dimensions of Responsiveness, Reability, Assurance, Empathy and Tangible to community satisfaction in the Ploso Village Government, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency has a strong linear relationship. For the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.635, meaning that changes in community satisfaction (Y) can be explained by the quality of service which includes changes in the dimensions of Responsiveness, Reability, Assurance, Empaty and Tangible together by 63.5%. It is hoped that the research results can be used as input for the village government in improving service quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tourist attractiveness, destination image and accessibility on the interest in visiting the Bima Snake Island tourism. This research is a descriptive study using quantitative methods. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression, F test, t test, multiple correlation coefficient (R) test, and multiple determinant coefficient (R²) using the SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Science) version 18.0 for Windows. The results of this study were obtained based on the validity test of a valid questionnaire statement. It shows that the variable of tourist attractiveness affects visiting interest, the variable of destination image influences visiting interest, accessibility influences visiting interest, and variables of tourist attraction, destination image, accessibility simultaneously influence the interest in visiting the tourist interest of the snake island of Bima NTB.

Abstract

This study examines how to use Instagram as a tourism strategy marketing communication in new normal period at the Hawai Waterpark Malang. In this study, used an analytical in the form of a tourism marketing communication strategy theory (elements marketing mix) utilizing the features that exist on Instagram for business. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of Instagram accounts can help tourism marketing communication. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The datas are collected by documentation, observation and interviews with the managers of Hawai Waterpark Malang. The results of the study show that the use of Instagram accounts as a tourism marketing communication strategy during the New Normal is very helpful for marketing communication activities. The features offered by Instagram business make the marketing communication process more efficient. Instagram carries of information between Hawai Waterpark Malang and consumers who will visit Hawai Waterpark Malang.

Abstract

The new normal is a new policy implemented by the government in collaboration with the Pecalukan Tourism Trade Association to reduce the number of soaring COVID-19 cases. This ongoing transition towards a new normal is an implication of various policies and regulations during the COVID-19 emergency response period. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of communication networks formed in the association in disseminating information. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods with communication network analysis techniques, while the sampling technique is the snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires through interviews. The research is the first pattern of communication network structure that is formed by communication networks of all channels. The two roles of the communication structure are as follows: Click, Gate Keeper, Bridge, and Opinion Leader. The three communication networks were found by 4 clicks. There are 7 opinion leaders in the communication network who have an important role in influencing and increasing the participation of community members.
