Abstract

This study is motivated by student learning outcomes oriented to Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Mathematics Learning in grade IV SDN 11 Nanga Lemetak in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study describes student learning outcomes oriented to Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), the factors that influence student learning outcomes oriented to Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The study approach used is a qualitative phenomenological approach. This study's data collection techniques were unstructured observation techniques, semi-structured interview techniques, and documentation techniques. Based on the study results, the average HOTS thinking ability in mathematics subjects in grade IV SDN 11 Nanga Lemetak was 58.73% in the good category. The indicator (Comparing) is 84.76% in the high category (High), the indicator (Interpreting) is 49.52% in the low category (Low), and the indicator (Making) 41.90% is categorized as low (Low).

Abstract

The general objectives of this study are to describe the implementation of PJOK learning for class IV B at SDN 1 Kenukut during the COVID-19 pandemic, to find out the Inhibiting and Supporting Factors in the PJOK learning process for class IV B at SDN 1 Kenukut during the COVID-19 pandemic, PJOK learning outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive research form, while the subjects in this study are homeroom teachers, PJOK teachers who collect 2 people and class IV B students who return 25 people. The method used in this study is a purposive method. The sampling object is students in the PJOK learning process and class IV B teachers at SDN 1 Kenukut. Data collection techniques used are Non-Participant Observation Techniques, Semi-Structured Interview Techniques, and Documentation Techniques. While the data collection tools are Observation sheets, Interview sheets and Documentation sheets in the form of Absence, RPP, Assignments, and Student Learning Outcomes. Results Based on research at SDN 1 Kenukut, during the COVID-19 pandemic in the 2020/2021 school year, the learning process at SDN 1 Kenukut uses online and offline learning processes, online learning in question is learning using the whatsapp application where the teacher informs students to take assignments go to school and if you don't understand then you can ask the teacher via whatsapp, while offline learning is where students do assignments from home. As for the instrument in the teacher's assessment of student results, namely, the accuracy of student answers, timeliness and timeliness given.

Abstract

When children enter primary education, the role of learning media in increasing interest in learning is very popular in education. There are many technologies that have been developed in the present and implemented for the first time in the world of education. Giving rewards in the use of media is also very good in the learning process. This allows the use of media to adapt to the learning on that day so as to be able to answer material problems from the media used. This makes it one of the few developed countries in the world that already uses learning media. Which, able to improve student learning in elementary school. This allows teachers to make better learning media and be able to give the best to students and show their work and creativity in making these learning media. In addition, the media does not cause boredom when learning in class and is able to increase motivation in the learning process.

Abstract

In implementing education, the curriculum occupies a strategic position in determining the quality of educational output. In addition, in its development the curriculum must pay attention to the existing foundations such as the philosophical foundation, psychological basis, sociological basis and also the basis of science and technology. The curriculum is always changing according to changes that occur in society which are also the impact of the curriculum itself. The curriculum is not static, but dynamic and is constantly influenced by changes in the underlying factors. In developments and changes in the curriculum, it is intended to be better than the previous curriculum. In its implementation, this study uses a qualitative research type with a literature study method, where this method is used to get the main answers to problems in the urgency of the curriculum development foundation. The analysis used is descriptive analysis, which intends to explore and clarify an existing phenomenon or social reality.

Abstract

The background of this study is to find out how effective isstudying online and offline during pandemic covid-19 at the primary school.Various obstacles duringpandemics also influence the effectiveness of students to study because there was a change from studying face to face as usual to studying online. The purpose of this study is to know how effectivethe students to studying onlineduring pandemic covid-19. The study is based on a quantitative research method. A data collection is a survey. The population in this study were 225 students and only69 valid samples of primary school students. The result of the study found that the effectiveness of the students who studied onlinehas a strong category with a score total is 6537, the average is 94,73 and the percentage of the score obtained 75,79 %.Based on the hypothesis test, the value of thitungis greater than the value ofttabel, which is 3,57 > 1,66, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the results of the study, it was found that the effectiveness of the studentswho studied online during the pandemic was more than 70%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the types of errors and to identify the number of students who made each type of error in solving math problems with fractions. This research is a descriptive qualitative research by using a checklist sheet instrument. Researcher in this study collected the data with documents. The main data sources used in this study were 25th grade students and the answers of fifth grade students for the 2020/2021 academic year. The results showed that there were four types of errors made by students, namely conceptual errors, operating errors, careless errors, and notation errors. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher, as many as 18 of 25 students or 72% of students made operational errors,  17 of 25 students or 68% of students made conceptual errors, 4 of 25 students or 16% of students made careless errors, and 25 students or 16% of students made notational errors in solving math problems with addition and subtraction operations on fractions with different denominators.

Abstract

Online learning is the best solution during a pandemic like this because it is a place to transmit knowledge. However, not all feel that it is all good because of the limitations of communication tools that must use the internet as one of the requirements for learning so that steps are taken so that learning is carried out face-to-face. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in the affective and cognitive domains using a mind map technique based on local wisdom. This research is a cyclical classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class IVb SD Inpres Kampung Baru Merauke, totaling 22 students in the 2021/2022 academic year. The data of this study were obtained through observation and tests. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the affective domain at each meeting in the cycle according to the aspects, namely; 1) curiosity; 2) cooperation; 3) communication skills; 4) thorough; 5) be careful; and 6) persistence. Likewise, student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain obtained during the learning process also experienced an increase in the percentage, namely in the first cycle students who completed 13 students completed or 59.09%, in cycle 2 students experienced an increase in classical learning outcomes by 86.36% students completed 18 students. Thus, these results indicate that the use of local wisdom-based mind map techniques can improve student learning outcomes.
