Abstract

This article is about the importance of increasing flow of tourists and its positive impact on the economy of the region as a whole. Today the sphere of tourism in our country is considered as one of the most important sectors of the economy and a significant factor in the development of regions. Solution of many problems in the regions, such as increase of labor employment, attraction of investments, improvement of ecological situation and others are connected with effective functioning of tourism sphere. Domestic and inbound tourism in the process of progress has a positive impact on the formation of the gross domestic product, thus ensuring an improvement in the quality and standard of living of the population. Thus, due to the growth of tourism activities and other service areas, it is possible to solve problems related not only to the improvement of economic indicators, but also to social, environmental and many others. It will be possible to talk about stable development of tourism in the region only when all conditions are fulfilled and companies start working as a whole. In case of deficiencies in one of the spheres, despite the coherence of work, tourism development will fall behind the predicted results. In such a situation the positive dynamics will be temporary. Thus, the main task is to create a single mechanism for all companies connected with this industry.

Abstract

Taking into account bioclimatic conditions of a territory is one of the necessary elements for the tourism industry. In order to assess the bioclimatic conditions of selected settlements of Uzbekistan, such as Samarkand, Dagbit, Tashkent and the Chimgan mountain recreation zone, a thermohygrometric coefficient of air aridity is used. It is shown that the coefficient has a good response to changes in temperature and humidity and a clearly defined tendency in its annual and daily course. Based on the statistical processing of the data series of standard observations of air temperature and dew point at Samarkand, Dagbit, Tashkent Observatory and Chimgan meteorological stations for the period of 2009-2018 the spatial-temporal features of distribution of thermal comfort conditions are revealed.

Abstract

The article considers issues relating to existing system of personnel training for the tourism sector. In connection with the active development of this sector of the economy has appeared the need for clear interaction between the system of professional education and the labor market. Despite the fact that a large number of special educational institutions and higher educational institutions train personnel for the tourism industry, there is a shortage of qualified personnel in the tourist job market. According to experts, today the majority (up to 75%) of employees of tourism companies do not have education of a specialist in the field of tourism. Currently, the market situation is such that graduates of specialized educational institutions do not meet professional requirements that meet international standards. Today's specialists have a low professional level, so hotels and travel agencies that have their own specialist training programs have to re-train the hired employees. Training and retraining of personnel in the field of tourism can become one of the main advantages of the organization, as the quality of the services provided depends on the qualifications of the personnel, and the satisfaction of guests in the service sector is achieved by the competence of the personnel. The purpose of improving the professional training of personnel for the tourism industry is to create a sustainable development of the system of professional training that would meet the needs and development of the individual, the state and society as a whole, which would improve the quality of professional training of specialists in the field of tourism.

Abstract

Nowadays the topic of public relations is being actively promoted in literature and press. It is obvious that, it has become clear that this is an important part of our daily bases. It deals with the sphere of management, especially with the issue concerned Uzbekistan. Sometimes countries are constantly exposed to various crises with serious consequences. To balance these effects, the management and public relations have been applied. So that that a great deal of attention is paid to political PR. As for political PR, the ability of public relations to manage crises, to relieve tension, to ease the situation, to reset public attitudes, to regain people's approval and trust in the activities of the authorities is also widely used in the spectrum of its debate. Important to note that, the business sector has been studied less than it should be. Traditional aspects of the research are election campaigns, work for the prestige of politicians, and in the commercial area, banks and some large companies. We should take into consideration that small and medium business as it is in this domain that lies the basis of development for our country. Besides, it seems to me that although public relations in small companies do not have this scale, they are very important for healthy development. Therefore, it is necessary to explore and develop methods of public relations for the private business sphere.

Abstract

The development of routes in tourism has gained prominence in recent years. One key aim of these routes, apart from attracting tourists to an area, is to tie-up several attractions that would independently not have the potential to entice visitors to spend time and money. Using a cooperation effect promises to have greater pulling power, and it also disperses visitors’ money among a larger number of recipients. Many cities promoting a different type of routes that, in some way, domesticate the gaze of tourists. The most famous routes across the world are the catalog of city resources and offer some of them, which are “consumed” in a homogenous way. The main question of this thesis is (1) how to identify routes in a designated area (2) which socio-demographic and travel related variables are influencing tourists route choice behavior. The questionnaire-based survey was conducted in Samarqand city among local tourists.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the most stable and dynamically developing sectors of the global economy. Despite the economic turmoil of recent years, the number of tourist arrivals is constantly growing. In this flow, the percentage of tourists who prefer to visit various cultural, sports, business, political and other events of various scales also increases annually. People’s desires to attend an event or at some event gradually formed an entire industry, which, in turn, began to manage these desires, bringing considerable benefits to the organizers of the events and destinations - the owners of these events in the form of taxes, activation of infrastructure and population. Sochi city, due to its unique geo-economic and geopolitical location, rich history and rapidly accumulating tourist experience, is becoming one of the most attractive Russian destinations in the field of event tourism. The main problem associated with the development of international event tourism as a basis for influencing tourism infrastructure is the lack of methodological materials for the integrated development of this type of tourism, taking into account modern requirements, the insufficient involvement of marketing technologies to create and promote this tourism product in the domestic and foreign markets and, as a result, in its insufficient socio-economic efficiency. Event tourism can be considered not only as a type of tourism, but also as a strategy for the development of the economic and legal sphere of tourist infrastructure.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the most growing industries that it contributes to the development of most countries especially, developing ones. It creates a huge number of jobs, improves the lifestyle of people and boosts the economy of the country. Uzbekistan has its own potentials in the sphere of tourism mostly connected with culture, history, religion, and traditions, and the government is also paying much attention to the development of the tourism sector. The article examines the problems in tourism sphere that Uzbekistan has to tackle and suggests solutions to them. It also gives information about the potentials that the country has including climate, nature, exotic landscapes, culture, mountains and foods and steps that should be taken in order to use them effectively which guarantee sustainable development. One of the most important steps is to use the most recent technologies and innovations to improve tourism and make it much more comfortable for tourists. Making services available online and teaching qualified and competitive staff are also considered as crucial steps. All products and all the services should be interconnected with each other. Reducing unnecessary limitations for travel agencies, hotels or entertaining places would also contribute to the development of the hospitality business. Increasing the contribution of the tourism industry to our GDP should be our main goal since its contribution is less than 3% while in most countries it accounts for 10-45%. The main type of tourism in Uzbekistan is cultural tourism since it has more than 7300 cultural heritages and over 200 of them are listed among UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Samarkand, Bukhara, and Toshkent are the best places to improve Ziyarat Tourism. Another most important point would be focusing on the promotion and changing the people’s opinions about Uzbekistan which are often negative.
