Abstract

One of the most visited attractions in Nagan Raya Regency is the Naga Permai beach area. Beautiful natural panorama makes the Naga Permai beach area has a tourist attraction. The high number of tourists visiting the Naga Permai beach area can have a negative impact in the form of tourism waste in the form of plastic waste which has the potential to reduce the environmental quality and environmental sustainability of the Naga Permai beach area. Tourism waste in the form of plastic waste from tourist activities sourced from tourists and tourism businesses. Purpose This activity is providing socialization. Socializing the importance of managing waste properly, sorting out plastic and non-plastic waste, as well as providing an overview of the consequences that will arise in the future if plastic waste is not controlled, and providing direct examples to the community on how to sort out garbage and exemplify so as not to dispose of waste when traveled. This service will be done using the approach method with the lecture / accompaniment method. While the stages to solve these problems by doing examples of social service. The output obtained is the emergence of awareness and initiative from café owners and visitors so as not to litter plastic.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat Kelurahan Kamundu khususnya mereka yang kesehariannya sebagai ibu rumah tangga, untuk dapat mengolah ikan kakap menjadi beberapa produk makanan, sehingga memenuhi kebutuhan protein hewani khususnya bagi anak – anak. Ikan dapat dioleh menjadi beraneka ragam menu makanan baik sebagai lauk maupun sebagai camilan antara lain, bakso, nugget, sosis, kerupuk, abon, dendeng, perkedel dan lain sebagainya. Target yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa adanya tambahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi masyarakat kelurahan Kamundu dalam mengolah ikan khususnya ikan kakap menjadi berbagai jenis makanan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa motivasi dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan dalam pengolahan ikan kakap menjadi aneka produk makanan berupa bakso, sosis dan perkedel. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat cukup antusias dalam mengikuti seluruh kegiatan ditunjukkan dengan peran serta peserta mengikuti dan mempraktektan seluruh pembuatan produk.

Abstract

Salt is a chemical compound that is generally derived from sea water, with the chemical name Sodium Chloride (NaCl). Salt can be obtained in three ways, namely through evaporation of seawater by sunlight, rock mining (rock salt mining) and from brine wells (brine). Lampanah Village is one of the Villages located on the coast of Kabuoaten Aceh Besar, with the majority of its residents living as salt farmers. The implementation of the training program for making beauty products made from sea salt was carried out in Lampanah Village, Aceh Besar District. The training method used in the utilization of sea salt consists of 2 stages, namely extracting information about salt and training and direct practice of processing sea-based products into spa salt, salt masks and salt face scrubs. improve the skills of salt farmers in Lampanah Village, Aceh Besar in processing salt into high-value-selling products. These products include salt masks, salt scrubs and spa salts. In addition, it is hoped that these products will become local products typical of Lampanah Village, Aceh Besar.

Abstract

Kue Karah is a traditional cake that has been part of the cultural richness of the Acehnese people for a long time. In West Aceh district, the center of Kue Karah production is in Meureubo District, especially in Langung Village. The problem of partners in making Kue Karah is the process of making karah cakes in the traditional way. In the manufacturing process workers experience the risk of fatigue, and musculoskeletal disorders caused by exposure to heat production equipment. In addition, the quality of products produced is not standardized and organizational and financial management is still family based. For this reason, it is necessary to apply the right technology to overcome this weakness. This community service program is a community partnership program between the university and UMKM makers Kue Karah. This program not only offers problem solving regarding the use of Kue Karah makers, but also technology transfer in the form of Kue Karah makers to improve the quality of Kue Karah products and increase production volumes. In addition, this service program also provides training and assistance in organizational and financial management. Thus this program has a comprehensive, meaningful, complete and sustainable value.

Abstract

Masyarakat kampung Sarmayam Indah memanfaatkan ikan gabus sebagai ikan konsumsi dengan cara dibakar dan dimasak sehingga tidak dapat bertahan lama. Sehingga perlu dilakukan pengolahan ikan gabus agar lebih bisa bertahan lama dan mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Salah satu cara untuk mengembangkan pengolahan ikan gabus yakni menjadi Abon. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tahap sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuatan abon ikan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan bulan November 2018. Dengan adanya kegiatan sosialisasi dan Pelatihan pembuatan abon ikan di kampung Sarmayam Indah distrik Tanah Miring kabupaten Merauke masyarakat yang ada di kampung tersebut terutama ibu-ibu rumah tangga memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah ikan gabus terutama dalam pembuatan abon ikan gabus
